Keep Assault but drop Tactics because /Device blasters already have access to Targeting Drone. Other than that one end reducer in each toggle (exception being combat jumping as that is end friendly as is). Don't bother putting two end reducers in a toggle though because at that point you are better off putting a fourth slot into stamina instead.
From a survivability perspective I would choose Acro over Maneuvers.
Hope this helps! -
Do the knockback sets need to be buffed now?

Dual Pistons is all around a good set.
The only power that needs to be tweaked is Empty Clips which gives the entire set a bad reputation honestly.
Empty Clips.................2.5s
Buckshot....................0.9s
Nightfall.....................2.0s
Fistful of Arrows..........1.17s
Ball Lightning...............1.07s
Energy Torrent............1.07s
Fireball.......................1.00s
Frost Breath................2.67s
Electron Haze..............2.37s
Howl..........................2.33s
Other than Frost Breathe, Empty Clips doesn't justify its cast time honestly. -
Chilling embrace is yummy on Stalkers. That is all.

Radial knockback definitely is hated in game, but other than that I haven't heard any complaints.

Quote:Most of the people that came down on me because I was outraged for the unusual downtime have suddenly been quiet, or non existent.Nonsense. There's a difference between being a supporter and an apologist.
Leaving game-breaking bugs in is what is going to enrage people. People were angry at a 6-hour downtime that was announced barely ahead of time - and frankly, they were right to be at this point, because 90% of what this patch introduced was a bunch of bugs that RUINED the game for many of us. I was fine with that 6 hour downtime when it happened - I'm not anymore, since apparently it was a 6-hour "destroy the game" patch.
This needs to be hotfixed, NOW.
This sort of stuff might be acceptable from a beta, or a brand-new released game. From a 7 year old veteran MMO? No. not even a little. -
Quote:Knock up becomes knock back against lower level enemies.Well, people have reported Knockout Blow just making things fall down in place. I haven't tested that one myself.
Given that, though, I am confused by the comment that this would make BS better. There's no KB in it unless you hit underlevel foes with Headsplitter. I don't even think it knocks -1s back.
Sweep combo from Dual Blades is an example. -
Quote:There are pros and cons to this.Which powersets rely on knockback so much that changing it to knockdown would qualify as a "massive nerf?"
For AR it is a pro because:
*Easier to line up AoE's
*Huge buff to Grenade Launcher
Con: Reduced down time of NPC's, because of ragdog physics, causes an increase of incoming damage. Hard hitting melee NPC's are in your grill more frequently now and less distance is created. -
It is still a massive nerf to some power sets, so overall I can't support the change unless they plan on doing a lot of re-balancing of power sets.

So where are the plans to fix it? We passed this information onto Zwill, but we have heard nothing since.

I think it has to do with bit maps, If I recall correctly
My green shield on my helmet was shiny but I turned down the bit maps (original of launch) and that is the result.
If someone knows for sure that would be nice. I know environmental reflections effect turned on makes water shiny. -
As an AR/Sonic Corruptor, I like this change.
I do admit having minions flying absurd distances made it more heroic, but I do more damage now that everything is clumped up nicely. It is a huge buff to a power like Grenade Launcher.
Only drawback I can see is the power sets that rely on knockback as mitigation against a melee boss about to smash your face in. More specifically, blasters may probably be hurt the most by this change.
Edit: Now, that I think about it more, it makes Dual Pistols Fire ammo the clear cut winner now (Anytime options are diminished I see that as a downside). Energy Blasters are hurt the most, because that is their identity. FF doesn't rely on knockback mitigation, but is a nice feature for sure. I am sure there are FF fans that are disappointed with this change.
But Broadsword is arguably better now because of this change, which generates mixed observations from my view. -
When I use Grenade Launcher the enemies decides to drop straight down like in the game musical chairs. Hillarious!

Quote:You made bro?Ok so an issue with a bunch of bugs and incarnate stuff......so when is the next issue coming out that does not have incarnate crap in it?
Seriously welcome to my side of the argument for a change.
That would be amazing. -
Chugging inspirations before loading in isn't the best course of action. But removing options isn't a good idea.

Are the changes to knockback a feature or a bug?
For teaming it is a great change, but for solo I can see some people disappointed. -
Quote:That would be the best change they can do to bases.Seriously, Zwil, just sayin', but BvP? I know it's a bug right now, and I know that in its current form it should prolly be swatted, but still...MAKE IT SO. I am sticking a Danger Room in my base this afternoon. I am sooooo not kidding.
Hostile bases we can make...the possibilities are cool and endless. Stumbled upon a goldmine I tell you! -

Knockback changes?
*Gemini Runs to go see what has happened to AR* -
Quote:Since when did stalkers overtake scrappers in PVP?I truly believe they wish they could just get rid of Stalker AT as a whole. This is just one problematic AT that 1. doesn't excel in anything since everybody has access to stealth and Assassin Strike is over-rated (especially at the expense of losing pbaoe!) 2. they need to spend more time on modifying a new Melee Set and usually ends up with a watered down version or skip it completely (Shield and possibly Titan).
Dominator, on the other hand, is unique. Dom excels in controls and offers an unique gaming experience.
Stalker just feels like playing a gimped Scrapper or Brute. I am one of those that doesn't play Brute/Scrapper so I am ok with Stalkers. lol
As for their plans to fix Stalkers, all is clear is that they know what NOT TO DO. They know Stalker can't have Fiery Embrace, can't have higher HP Cap, can't deal more damage than Scrapper... The whole Stalker AT feels like a "restricted" Scrapper and all because of PvP concerns. F*** pvp!
