  1. I know I can use Ctrl + Printscreen to copy a screenshot to the clipboard and then use Ctrl + V to paste the screenshot into say a Word document, but how can I paste or otherwise insert a screenshot into a forum post?

I'm guessing Hyperstrike is adding the years from the final McCoy episode until the McGann movie to the time McCoy spent as the Doctor (after all, McCoy was at the very beginning of the McGann movie); and adding the years from the end of the McGann movie until the first Eccleston episode to the time McGann spent as the Doctor. As to the latter, do we know that Eccleston's first episode was soon after regeneration?

Thus, Obit threads became one of the central arguing points during the conversion to the new rules. With vocal detractors and supporters.

Lord of Time(RiP) was prolific during these days with daily updates on comicbook movie news and various other interesting tidbits scoured from the web. While his threads were most always OT for the section... the sheer amount of them was to much for some posters to tolerate. This led to much bickering in the land of CHVC which in turn led to a lot of Mod time spent in this neck of the woods.

One day the Mod team/Community Reps looked at their labor #'s and realized with quite a shock that they were spending much more time dealing with problem threads and posters in the CHVC section than they were in the PvP section, even the Pwnz threads!

Thus the mighty hammer fell and here we are.

So needless to say, without realizing it, the simple act of posting an Obit stirs up all those heated memories and well, there ya go.

It's a subtle distinction but worth noting that magic isn't so much a weakness of Superman's, at least not in the way kryptonite is; it's just that he is not invulnerable to magic and magicked items in the same way he's invulnerable to everything else.

For instance, imagine a bullet made of kryptonite and an enchanted bullet. Place the kryptonite bullet next to Superman and it will weaken and eventually kill him. Place the magic bullet next to Superman and it will have no more effect on him than placing a normal bullet next to a normal man. Shoot Superman with the magic bullet, however, and it will have the same effect as shooting a normal bullet from the same gun at a normal man of Superman's size and physique.

    CoH 2 instances

I do not have the Run Multiple Instances box checked on File->Settings->Advanced, yet I am able to run multiple instances this way:

I play in Windows mode and have the NCLauncher set to close when the game launches (or you can just close it manually). Once the first instance is up and running, I just minimize it and run the NCLauncher again.

(Edit: I'm not sure this needs to be said, but I'll say it anyway: the second instance needs to be on a different account.)

    Here's what I do:

    /macro FX-1 "suppressclosefx 1$$suppressclosefxdist 255"

    and

    /macro FX-0 "suppressclosefx 0"

This creates two buttons in your power trays. Clicking the first one makes visual effects generated by some powers invisible. (Ok, technically just invisible if the in-game camera is closer than 255 feet to your character. I don't remember what the draw distance is for your own character, but it seems to be much less than 255 feet.)

Hasten will be invisible, as will Superspeed. Stealth will still make you semi-transparent though. Fire Shield, Plasma Shield and Blazing Aura will be invisible but Burn, Consume and Fiery Embrace will be visible.

And, of course, clicking the second one undoes the first one.

This option isn't quite as good as Pool Power Customization would be, but it's as good as we'll get til then.

The only thing that kind of threw me in the trailer was when they had Gandalf naming all the dwarves...it seemed like they were kind of doing it so fast, just felt cheesy in some way...*shrugs*
Gloin was included, he was the one who was covered in webbing (apparently from the spider scene in Mirkwood.)

    Gandalf introduced (in order):

    Fili, Kili,
    Oin, Gloin,
    Dwalin, Balin,
    Bifur, Bofur, Bombur,
    Dori, Nori, Ori
    and Thorin.

Oh, and it's 13 dwarves, including Thorin. iirc, the book made a point that one of the reasons Bilbo was included was so it wouldn't be an unlucky thirteen.

I think the dwarves' introductions were done so quickly for the trailer's sake. I don't think it would be that fast in the actual movie.

Edit: Oh and Sylvester McCoy (the 7th Doctor) will play Radagast the Brown!

If your computer can handle running two instances of the game at a time, then you can get a free account and then spend at least $5 on that account to get the account to Reward Tier 2, when allows toons on that account to join SGs and to invite others to SGs.

Then log on with a member of your SG on your main account and log on a toon with the new account. It's a little easier if the two toons are in the same area.

With your main, click on the premium toon and Invite to SG.

Alt-tab over to the premium toon and accept the invite.

Then Quit to Character Select on your main account and log on with any alt that needs to get into your SG. Have the premium toon invite them.

It's actually easier than it seems here Just a little convoluted to explain.

Note: this won't work on Exalted, unless your second account is a paying VIP account, since only VIP's are allowed on the "U! No allw here!" server.

If you're on Exalted or if your computer can't run multiple CoH instances or if you don't want to spend $5 to raise the premium account to Tier 2, then go with AdAstra. I can vouch for her since she has helped me get plenty of alts into my solo SG.
