I'd like to thank everybody for their replies and PM's; they were very helpful. I remember using techniques like your suggestions to load my forum avatar many years ago so I know they work.

Note that you only need to worry about that if you are wanting to screenshot something like the Contume creator or Login screen as the screenshots saved in game are by default JPEGs

I know I can use Ctrl + Printscreen to copy a screenshot to the clipboard and then use Ctrl + V to paste the screenshot into say a Word document, but how can I paste or otherwise insert a screenshot into a forum post?
