  1. I'm just the opposite. I remember (misremember?) being told to defeat the Fortunata.

I think the Mission Text above the map window mentions it after defeating whathisname. I remember because I searched for a long time for a named Fortunata.
  2. I'll bring Magius Aegis, Ill/Storm troller

After spending an hour fiddling in-game and searching the forums, I haven't seen/come up with a solution. What I'd like to do is change the autorun bind on "r" to also execute a flypose. The closest I have come is this:

    /bind r "emote flypose3 $$ ++forward"

I'll have Fly active, tap r, and start moving forward, but with no flypose. When I tap r again, I stop moving forward, but I do a stationary flypose for a second, then return to the idle position.

If this is possible, would anyone mind posting a bind solution? I'm sure I'll be doing a nice big "/e facepalm" when I see what it is.
    Here's what I use:

    /bind P "autorun 1$$e flypose3"

I think it's more like (for yours): Hit R once and Flypose3 toggles (ON, in this case, since it's already off) . The next command is ++ forward, so it toggles (on in this case, since it's already off), which [i dunno why] toggles off Flypose3. I think Flypose and ++forward (since they are both toggles) are mutually exclusive. Then, the second time you hit R, Flypose3 executes. The next command is ++forward. But it's already on, so it turns it back off.

However, on mine, I hit P once and autorun is forced to 1. This is not the same as the one you use! Yours is a toggle, mine sets autorun to true. The next command is Flypose3, so it toggles on.

Edit: this will require you to bind another key to the "autorun 0" command. I use:

    /Bind J "autorun 0$$Powexec_toggleOFF Fly"

And I think it's a bad move. Some say it seems the more targets you affect, the better the reward.

Like I said in another thread, when I park my tank at a door during Escape phase and just fire my AoE off and then park near the Adds spawn point and fire my AoE, I get good rewards.

But when I use my "Commando" target macro and hunt escaping lieuts during the Escape phase and then ignore the adds spawn point and focus on the AV's (to the extent that I get several "GATE-keeper, Second Warning" warnings, I get the Ten Threads of Failitude.

Imho, the first example (where I get better rewards), I am less useful to the league as a whole that I am in the second example (where I get poorer rewards).

    Something wrong with that...

I'm leaning towards this, too. When I park my tank at a door during Escape phase and just fire my AoE off and then park near the Adds spawn point and fire my AoE, I get good rewards.

That would probably work most of the time...

... however, Sunday nights on Infinity is usually ship raid night. I know people were complaining last Sunday evening that all of the BAF/Lambda recruiting in RWZ is making it hard for the ship raids to get enough warm bodies. Remember, the zones are capped at 50. Twenty-four on a BAF and 16 on a Lambda leaves only 10 for a ship raid.

And since IB can't be everywhere at once, 10 peeps = a not very successful ship raid.

Maybe BAF/Lambda recruiting can move to Pocket D?

Newp. Didn't happen that way. Luthor just "figured out" that Superman was vulnerable to Kryptonite. Until Luthor tricked Superman into opening the box where the Kryptonite was hidden, Superman had never even heard of the stuff.

    ^^^^^^ This.

It's so bad for me, that I can be on the other end of the map from this room, and I start lagging whenever I'm facing the room.

Agreed, there are a lot of dc's during the new trials, but is it definitely due to lag or something else. The only lag I've noticed on the i20 trials is what i would normally get using Praetorian maps. That's afaik client side lag. The lag mentioned in the OP is afaik server side lag - too many people, powers and pets for the servers to render everything effectively.

Of course, the Trials are instances, but the Raids are not. So capping the raids at 24 is not gonna be easy. The Devs would have to cap the zones at 24 - not a viable option, because if two teams were in zone for LGTF, the you'd only get a Ship Raid of 8 peeps. OR the Devs could re-work the Raids into instances and cap them at 24, but that seems like it would be a major undertaking.

    Have.

    5 more currencies.

Because NONE of the new stuffz could be unlocked with ANY of the already existing currencies, huh?

Don't get me wrong, I'm nowhere near "ragequit" time, but I sure do feel sorry for anyone who is new to this game. Or someone returning to this game.
  17. OK, I just wanna make sure I understand the various types of lag, what causes them and what I can do about it....

    (1) Server side lag: fwiu, this is what causes problems during Mother Ship Raids, Hami Raids, etc. Basically, there are too many people, powers, pets, etc., for the server to render properly. fwiu, there is jack all that I can do about this, amirite? A better computer won't help me, turning the graphics down won't help me, amirite? About the only thing that can be done is for the devs to re-design those raids - maybe cut the number of participants in half. (ie, CoP trial - capped at 24 people - is notably free of lag for the most part.)

Also: do multiple instances of the same zone contribute to server side lag? Frinstance, Infinity runs RWZ raids at 8pm on Sundays. Usually two instances of RWZ spawn. If the devs cut the number of participants in an RWZ raid in half, logically Infinity would spawn 4 instances. Would this cause less lag, more lag, or no change....?

    (2) Client side lag: fwiu, this IS something I can do something about. A better computer, turning graphics down, etc., will improve client side lag. What I really need is what are some examples of client side lag? How can I recognize it? I know that it's a result of the server trying to render stuff stored on MY computer but I'm not sure what (costumes? music? maps?). Also, other than a better computer and turning graphics down, what else can i do to combat client side lag? Defrag? More RAM? (I've got a laptop, so no way to change video card. Actually I don't have a video card, I've got an Intel GMA.)

Also: that new room that was recently added to warehouse maps. Is this causing server side lag or client side lag?
  18. 'cuz back in those days, everything was in black and white!

Interestingly enough, a lot of the people contributing to the larger numbers are people who used to play, but I hadn't seen on it a long time.

It doesn't seem so much like we got a lot of NEW players, just a lot of the old players returning to check out the new stuff.
    ^^^^^This.

While I agree that the servers are yellow and red a lot more often compared to a year ago, it doesn't necessarily mean more subscribers. It could mean that the same number of subscribers are playing more. Or it could also mean that fewer subscribers are playing a lot more.

  23. My humblest apologies, but I was mistaken: Turbolt already has TFC, so I'll bring either GATE-keeper (Inv/SS tank) or Statesdude (NRG/WP brute).
