Before I dump 30 HM's on a Glad Armor 3% Def PvPIO, I will always get the benefit of the 3% Def regardless of what level I get exemped to, right?

According the the wiki, yes:

"This enhancement functions as a set bonus and is always on, even if in a toggle that is turned off or even if the power is greyed out because of exemplaring. However, the bonus of this Special IO is turned off if one exemplars more than three levels below the level of the Special IO itself, unless it's from a PvP Set, in which case, level doesn't matter and it will always work."

Usually, I trust the wiki, but, hey, it's been wrong before.....

I think the original Superman: the Movie should be on that list before Superman II. Not necessarily b/c it's a better movie (I think it was, but I can see why others would prefer Superman II). But b/c of what it was: Superman: the Movie was the first real superhero movie that was meant to be taken seriously by the general movie-going audience, not just kids. It was the first superhero developed from the ground up with the intention of being a summer blockbuster.

My current leveling project (Magius Aegis, Ill/Storm troller) is only 35, not sure if I can get him to 38 by Saturday. Otherwise, I'll bring Statesdude, Eng/WP brute, about level 42.

I'm just the opposite, I think of a really cool name, then rack my brains trying to think of an AT and powersets that fit, sometimes trying several different combinations til I get one I like.

Anita Hero (get it? "I need a hero!") eventually became an Eng/WP tank.

Brawn Star (get it? Bronze Star, a military medal) started as as SS/Inv brute in Praetoria. He kinda stalled in the mid-teens. I like the name, I just gotta find something more appealing to me than SS/Inv.

Agent Uh Oh Seven, is - obviously - a DP blaster. A very clumsy DP blaster. I just can't think what secondary to use. Devices is too obvious.

Yeah, Unyeilding's -5% was eliminated during the recent Invuln rebuild, however, that 5% was taken from Invinc, so it's a wash. (However, since you get Uny at Level 8 and Invinc at level 18, that extra 5% during those levels makes a huge difference.)

As to the statement that TH is just as good as Weave, Weave provides +Def to All (including positional), TH provides +Def to all but Psionics (not including positional). But TH more than makes up for that by being auto and endurance free.

Here's something interesting that happened on an Infinity BAF run last night (well, some time betweeen midnight and 12:30 am this morning EDT):

We were in the "Fight Seige and Nightstar together" stage. We were fighting them at the add spawn point. Normal lag, powers executing 5 seconds after clicking them, standing around looking like statues, etc.

So Seige decides to jump over the wall into the water.

Not sure why, I think one of the other tanks had probably tried to fly away after his second Sequester warning, and probably got shot down by the GodLaser and fell into the water. I couldn't tell b/c I was on the other side of the building waiting for at least one of MY sequester rings to go away, came back in time to see Seige jump over the wall into the water.

So a few of us tanks taunted Seige back over the wall and back beside Nightstar so we could continue the fight.

But that's not the interesting part. Here's the interesting part:

The lag cleared up some time during that whole episode and did not come back even when we got Seige back to the add spawn point. Same number of players, presumeably same number of powers, presumeably same number of pets.

???

So my score is always gonna be "Divide by zero error"?
