  2. They're actually pretty good for lowbies. Even though they look like TO's they act more like IO's in that they never expire. And they're about as powerful as DO's, except more so because they're dual aspect.

    Edit: in other words, each one is roughly the equivalent of one damage DO plus one recharge DO.

    Time Overpowered

    I know TM makes Posi TF a little more difficult.

    We had two TM's in our group as we approached the last mish. The one with the clones.

    One of the members had dropped (not one of the TM's). When one of your team members drop, the game knows someone is missing, but doesn't know the missing person's build. So for that mish, the game will create another clone of one of the existing players.

    So they had three TM's to our two.

    It took us four team wipes to kill one of the TM clones (after each wipe, we returned from the hosp, with full insp trays. But by that time, all of the clones had been fully healed). One of the TM's kept saying, "focus your attacks on my clone!" It took us two team wipes to realize that she had two clones :P

    Another two team wipes to kill the second TM clone. Then we able to finally finish it, since now WE had two TM's to their one.

    Well, there is a craftable Jet Pack recipe that I forgot to list. It only lasts 30 minutes, but you can have several recipes (and the salvage) on you so that you are able to replace it when the 30 minutes are up. You can only have one of these cratfted at a time.

    Theoretically, you can have one each of all that I listed plus the craftable one on your toon at the same time, which means when one runs out, you have others readily available.

    I second that.

    And while we're at it, can we get Shields as costume options as well? That way, if I want to pick Invuln or WP as a power set, but still use a shield, I can.

    Or the Jetpack from Posi TF.

    Or the purchaseable (with in game inf) Jetpack from the Shadow Shard vendor.

    Or the purchaseable (with real monies) 30 day Jetpack.

    Or the Jingle Jet.

    With these, you don't even have to actually pick the Flight power.

    But I am filling those fields out! In fact, the "Log In" button remains grayed out until those fields are filled out, so your message to me is NOT helpful!

    But seriously, can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Anyone else getting the above message?

    (I've been in and out of the game all day. Logged out about an hour ago, now when I try and log back in, I get the above message.)

    Which is spiteful, and would be considered griefing in my book... ESPECIALLY if they are trying to "sell it back" to the "original owner". Because that implicitly implies that they knew a specific person would want the name, which means they targeted that person with a purpose.
    I was soooooo tempted to get on Exalted and grab the name Golden Girl.

    (afaik, she has has an MA/Regen scrapper on every other server with that name)

    I would never have sold it back to her.

    But I did not do that b/c i am pure of heart and at the age where I need to start worrying about going to heaven.....

    Only paying players are allowed on Exalted, so I doubt that's the case.

    (As an aside: sorry Belle, but you don't really have a right to that name on that server. Now, if the individual in question has that name, and your distinctive costume, is in a SG called xX Paragonnn Taczi Service Xx and is pretending to be you, then yeah, that's griefing and should be GM-smacked.

    And I say that because, hey I've finally got a toon named Gatekeeper, not GATE-keeper and not because I wanna sell it back to the "rightful" owner.

    According to Avatea's announcement, the servers should be back up by around 4pm Eastern time; so, yes I'll still try and run the TF.

    However, if the servers are not up and running by 10 pm Eastern (or are too unstable to allow the TF to be run) then I will try again Wednesday night at 10pm Eastern.

    That mechanic is very useful against minions who are nickel-and-diming you, but not so useful against an alpha strike.


    As for me, i've slowly been deleting my scrappers and rerolling them as tanks or brutes. Now I'll be able to reroll my last two scrappers, my MA/SR and my Elec/SR. Although I am a little skeptical about how "tanky" an SR/* tank would be, so I have a feeling I may wind up re-rolling them again as brutes (well, once MA gets ported to brutes).
