File a Support ticket about it. If the same person is griefing names from multiple players, you might have a case for a GM. There's no point in not trying, in any case.
Well, I don't want to get them in trouble. I just want my name back! I'll try that if they won't give it to me. I hope that they'll think that my name is so unusual that they'll know that it wasn't just an accident, and they'll give it back.

But please, everyone, I want to make sure everyone knows that I'm not trying to get someone into trouble. I know you wouldn't do this, but it's really important that no one tries to take matters into their own hands. No vigilantes, please!
I'm assuming that the person just thought it would be a funny joke if they took my name. I only posted this message in case that's not the case or they also think it would be a funny joke to see Taxibot Belle running around being mean or nasty to people. That's why I'm asking that if anyone sees something like that, please petition the City Administrators immediately. Otherwise, please don't do anything, because I've already notified the City Administrators in case they won't let me have my name back, and if other people are harassing them, I don't want them to think that I'm trying to incite people to do so.
So if you know who it is, PLEASE don't start sending nasty messages or anything, that would only hurt the situation. I don't care why they did it, and I most certainly don't want them punished and I don't want to "get back at them" or anything. I just want my name back, that's all!

But if someone is actually out there pretending to be me, I would appreciate sending a petition, because that's like identity theft, and you're not supposed to do that. I know that sometimes names are taken, and I'm not sore about that. But I'm the only Taxibot Belle that I could ever imagine someone wanting to be. My name is, I think, really unique enough that it's not like someone could just accidentally pick it. If someone wants to pretend they're Taxibot Belle, I just don't think it's because they want to be me. Most people would probably think being Taxibot Belle is really boring, although I can't think of anyone else I'd rather be!
I just think that in this case, it was done either as a joke to keep me from being on Exalted (I hope!) or with the intention of impersonating me, which I think is not right.

Well, let's face it, there were a lot of rumors going around about people who were going to jump on Exalted early to get names that they knew other people had in an attempt to sell the name back to the "rightful" owner.
If that's the case in this situation, lemme know how much inf you need.
(As an aside: sorry Belle, but you don't really have a right to that name on that server. Now, if the individual in question has that name, and your distinctive costume, is in a SG called xX Paragonnn Taczi Service Xx and is pretending to be you, then yeah, that's griefing and should be GM-smacked.

Just FYI in case you are unaware, if you log in to Exalted with a generic character of your choosing and type "/getglobalname Taxibot Belle" you'll see who (i.e. the global name of the player) took your name. It usually appears as a notification along these lines:
"@GlobalName is either offline, hidden, or does not exist."
If the name is available, the alert will return with the same character name you entered. For example, if I wanted to see who had "NailMan," typed in the command, and it came back with "@NailMan is either..." the name "NailMan" is actually available.
That goes for anyone. On any given server, you can find out who has a character name on that specific server by typing that command (/getglobalname character name).
Just be prepared for a boat-load of disappointed frustration when you find out a name you really want is owned by "@Trial85023." (Yes, I'm speaking from personal experience...)

They can have it. I don't plan on having multiple ZMs or moving ZM to Exalted (permanently).
But if I ever get an offer to buy it, I'll file a /petition that I'll escalate to Korea if I have to in order to punish name claim jumpers.

Yes, names are first come first serve. But hijacking numerous high profile names is something the mods should do something about.

I was flattered. It's hardly a name I'd consider unique enough to worry about and I trust the player I was told was running him to not do anything untoward. But FYI, if you see him, it's not me.
