It seems all 'objects' flicker and vanish for a moment, letting you only see the sky-box. Happening to me here too.
The base bug is a known issue that's been around for a while though. -
Yeah, might run this a couple of times, but not going up to level 50, only 4 people *and* non-global unlocks...
...has turned this into yet another grindfest. I'll see you guys next year. -
Quote:So yet another event that the developers expect you to grind on all of your characters ad infinitum. My sources inform me that it is per character.
Get to running!
Except you can't do it most of the year, even when you've created a new character.
Non-global unlock for the lose again. :/ -
I have no idea if it is early or just very late, but yesterday was certainly *not* the 28th of the month.

Quote:No, it's fan art that has super-imposed Nanoha over the blast aperature.Q: Is that a screen from MGLN Movie?
Power Pack? Maybe.
I would think it might depend on which volume. If you were thinking of Julie in the first Vol., then yea, possible.
Thank you for the time...
Power Pack is great and Runaways is awesome. Both are great. -
How strange that we don't have a place to chat about this key, long term 'end game' part of City of Heroes.
So has anyone hear any rumors of Hybrid or Genesis (which I'm assuming are the next two slots to unlock?) -
It seems if you try to rotate your look with the Mouse-Look option very quickly, the game will crash to the desktop.
I've been crashing to the desktop about, oh, once every hour and a half. Usually during a trial, so I get stuck with a common reward. Love being penalized for the program fault. -
I've started crashing from the Mouse Look issue *and* running out of Memory (CoH is taking over 1.5gb of RAM, BTW.) Seems like they let it get a little sloppy in memory control. :/
{Oh, and as I tried to log in, it kept complaining that I had not filled in the username and password fields.... } -
They are certainly aiming for Peacebringers to still not be worth *purchasing* at this point, as they won't be 'good'.

The human form melee damage is actually more subpar for PBs and WSs than you would think thanks to poor damage in human form ranged and AOE attacks. Stack up poor mezz protection for a melee centric character and you have a hugely underperforming set that if you play with the powers you *think* you would want to use, you are playing against weakness.
Essentially, because it's *technically* possible to run around with +140% damage all the time thanks to your team, the Devs build for that 'worst case scenario' instead of a more moderate 2.5 damage buff. Human-form ranged and AOE needs to be buffed at least a notch or two.
And I still can't believe that there is not +2 mag protection in there somewhere to match the VEATs. All it takes to make a Kheld a squishie in melee is to get hit by a single +1 mag stun, which is incredibly common. -
Quote:I think it's more annoying for old time players with lots of characters that would love them... but would hate to respec 50 levels of stuff while trying to not mess up your build to try and fit in one or two powers.I'll let Posi or Black Scorpion speak to this more, but my understanding is that the addition of these powers was to give something cool for those who are not interested in the current top tier Travel Pool abilities. While I can understand why you may consider some of them a novelty (Zone Teleport, Afterburner) I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how useful (and concurrently widely used) some of them will be (Burnout and the Leap Attack in the SuperJump pool).

Huh. This really is functioning like a mega-crossover event.

Quote:TJ is exactly correct, I was actually referring to the edge of the windows themselves. They are sometimes a PITA to grab. When you hover your mouse over the edge of a resizable element such as the Map, chat box, etc. you can click and Grab those edges to resize them. I can't recall if it changes to a double-headed arrow like it does in normal Windows apps or if it's something else.
EDIT: Looking again at your pointers and seeing the double-headed arrow., I'll change my assumption and guess that Futurias is wanting the window borders themselves to be slightly wider to make them easier to grab. -
Thank you very much. Now if you could only make the grab-edges of the windows slightly larger.

Quote:I recently played another NCSoft game that allowed more deformation (think down to Japanese type Super-Deformed and minis, children) and I think that the sliders probably *should* get a look at. It doesn't hurt that game at all and could really help with costume options. We need more polygons for our avatars - not just for our chests, but everywhere.
I also agree we need more polygons! -
I don't think you can. They are click powers (your PBAOE buff or summoning pet.)
OTOH, I'm finally seeing why the logic in seemingly gating content strictly behind the iTrial content. It isn't. It's gating it behind iTrials and/or (AFAICT) Paragon Points purchases. Which means that a lot of those emotes/auras that I felt should have had no purpose being gated behind level 50 content probably aren't *only* gated behind that.
We'll just have to see if that's the case, but if it is, then I'm likely to re-up my subscription. -

Quote:Actually, as a note, I don't mind that they would require running the iTrials like 10 times each or something to unlock account wide. I just have a problem with them costing Empyrian and Astral Merits you use to craft your Incarnate powers....
People. These are REWARDS. You have to WORK for them. Next thing some of you will be asking for is being able to roll level 50s out of the gate...
...and don't say no one would, because that very idea's been posted in the suggestions forum several times.
And look, i know this game's best feature is the ability to make a character look however you want at level 1, but is making you PLAY THE GAME too big a hassle for a SMALL HANDFUL of new options? I mean cripes, if playing in a GROUP in an MMO is too big a price to pay for your creative outlet, just learn to draw or something instead. -

I have to say I would *love* to see sprint just changed to have alternate auras from the Pre-Order days of i0 (and now a Vet option) added to regular old Sprint. Add some coloring options and you'd be golden!
-
Any chance to revisit Granite so that it can have the Lava and Crystal customizable version? I actually deleted a character at about 10th level when I realized my really super-cool gold crystalline character.... would look *exactly* like everyone else when I got Granite.
Even if it requires changing the *base* Granite so it's not a model swap.
(And please tell me that Kheldian customization, even just color tinting, is on the block. I'm really sick and tired of my Kheldians having no color customizations and looking just like any Nictus.) -
I wonder if any of those six have been able to unlock all five Incarnate Slots? It would technically be possible with the LFG option. You would have to purchase all your enhancements through the market (or make them through the market.)
An interesting and weird thought. "I was always loyal to Emperor Cole." or "I've never given up the fight!" -
Quote:It will have been 12 weeks since Statesman and Lord Recluse by then. They'd be a better 'haven't done that recently' TF/SF IMO.It means that very few heroes will be doing the WST the week of May 17-23. However I'm placing my bets that it will be changed to Numina (35-40) because there isn't enough resources to fix Eden in time for it to be the WST.
