Not sure. I stopped seeing people complaining about it, but I never saw any official statement on it from NCSoft.
  2. It's just one power called Secondary Mutation. It's a self buff that bestows 1 of 6 random buffs.

You have to click and drag it from your powers window to your power tray just like Sands of Mu, Nemesis Staff, etc.
  3. How about the devs just remove our ability to pull enhancements off of builds during respecs. The game already tells us that they are permanent once slotted.

Why would it in any respect be a hardship on a character. Your objection makes no sense based on your statements.

Too much of a hassle for me. I'm no tyro. I'm never going to get into doing macros and the only binds I use are to my 4th mouse button (usually for spamming healing or teleport). I wouldn't be able to remember the other binds anyway. The purpose of the game is to have fun. I think the suggestions I made contribute to that without overburdening people.
Two more reasons not to agree to your suggestion.

    1. Your casual disregard for how it would affect other players.
    2. Just because you personally are too lazy to use the tools the devs gave you to make playing the game easier isn't a good enough reason to change the game.

That's the point the whole Swingline suggestion started years ago because people were bi***ing and nitpicking that Flying, Superspeed, SuperJump, and Teleportation weren't believable travel powers for characters with the Natural origin. Being forced to choose one of those travel powers was "destroying" their immersion and ability to enjoy the game.

Well fine. If it's that darn important to their immersion in the game that their power be believable for their characters Origin then they can't use those powers to cross water or swing from empty air because it destroys our immersion in the game.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

That's when all the excuses started. They couldn't imagine why a Natural Origin character could have Fly, SS, SJ, or TP but suddenly they're imagining all kinds of BS that would allow Swinglines to attach to empty air.

    Hypocrisy. Gotta love it.

This argument has been going on for so many years it's possible people have forgotten what originally started it.

I'm all for increasing our storage capacity but just out of curiosity, are you aware of how much storage we actually have available to us on our accounts?

When the devs gave us the ability to email items they also gave the ability to store tons of stuff on our accounts using other characters. Using badges, vet reward, and temp powers each character can carry roughly:

    Inspiration slots - 20
    Invention Salvage slots - 85 (50 from levels, +10 V-Merits, +20 badges, +5 vet reward)
Recipe Slots - 34 (20 from levels, +9 from badges, +5 vet reward)
CH Transaction slots - 22 which can hold stacks of 10 recipes and salvage for a total of 220
    Vault - 50

    Email - 20 global slots

So if you multiply those number by the number of characters slots we can have on an account

    NA Account (144-396 characters)

    Inspiration slots - 2,880/7,920
    Invention Salvage slots - 12,240/33,660
    Recipe Slots - 4,896/13,464
CH Transaction slots - 3,168/8,712 (then in stacks of 10) 31,680/87,120
    Vault - 7,200/19,800

Even on an EU Account (48-144 characters) (we) players have the ability to store thousands of items.

The only downside to using other characters for storage is that we can only email items 1 at a time, and we have to keep track of where we store things.
  7. Yeah but I still don't know if showing The Cape on those channels is good or bad yet.

    Swinglines!

Actually I posted that in the hopes BrandX would post a link showing someone in real life using a swingline attached to nothing over the middle of a lake.
  9. Not allowing accounts to be renamed isn't wierd. It's a security measure to prevent hackers or RMT companies from stealing accounts and changing the names without the real owners knowledge.

NCSoft just had a serious security issue last year where people found that there was a bug that was giving them access to other players master accounts when they logged into their own account. Once inside another persons master account they could copy or change all the personal information.

  10. SYFY aired The Cape tonight (last night?) 12-2 am EST. Not sure if that's a good thing or the kiss of death for the show.

1- Make Inspirations stackable... say you could stack up to 5 inspirations of the same type in a box... you could reduce the foot print of the inspiration tray.

2- Invention Inspirations... the current workshop buffs are tied to an immediate timer which starts ticking as soon as you make them. It would be nice to have some craftable inspirations or buffs that would sit in your inspiration tray and not activate until you actually click on them and use them...kinda like those holliday ones.

3- Single Origin inspirations: these could be made to give a normal buff to most origins, but a larger buff to AT's of the same Origin as the inspiration. It would be cool if they were craftable and tradable.
    1. /unsigned - For reasons others have stated

    2. /unsigned - Making this would remove one of the few things that bases are still useful for. No one would use the base buffs at all if they could craft inspirations. I'd much rather have them remove the timer on the base craftable buffs so you can save them for when you want to use them.

Strangely it doesn't happen all the time. But recently I wasn't able to use a power and I face-planted because of it. Anyone else have this issue?
Yes I noticed the same problem started for me back in November - December.
  13. I think this is a great idea for a vet reward. Having it would gives vets a cool power that has no effect on gameplay and only provides a minor convenience.

    Bull****.

Villains have to go to Mercy and decide between Kalinda or Burke. That's it. Oh wait I foprgot Veats. They get 1 mission then must choose between Kalinda or Burke.

Heroes on the other hand get to choose 1 of 10 initial contacts based on origin which are split between Atlas Park and Galaxy City. And if the players are making a Kheld they have complete storylines to follow depending on if they make a WS or a PB which is a hell of a lot more interesting than the unfinished crap VEATS got.

Is the Hero stuff old? Yes.

Is it better than the garbage Villains must suffer thru? HELL YES!!

The main reason people get bored with the same old starting missions heroside is because they refuse to start anywhere other than Atlas Park. That's a personal problem not a problem with the content.

    Fix Praetoria

I've said it before but this is what happens when people spend too much time in the AE getting PL'd while door sitting. Praetoria is fine as it is, and as others have said it's fer too easy to outlevel the content there.

And anyone who says it won't happen is kidding themselves. The very first day I expect to see hero/villain concepts that wouldn't, to be doing as such.
The reason that running on all fours and swingline are different is because people actually run and walk on all fours in real life.

Or a precursor to the "Mr. Lizard" show on the Dinosaurs.

Please don't let this one thread stop you from making other suggestions. So this one idea didn't go over well. Big deal. Your next one, or the one after that could be a huge hit.

Don't walk away thinking people hate your idea, but rather that you found a topic people care a great deal about.

And from what I can find on the internet the only thing I can find is a post saying he did a voiceover in one of the movie's advertising trailers.

If the devs decide to put it in the game I'll drop the subject. I'm only voicing my opinions here because I want whatever the devs decide to do to be the best it possibly can with the system we have.

And this is why the devs call them ULTRA RARE. They are designed to be harder to get than normal rare drops. The fact that you are having a hard time getting them is proof that the drop rate and the RNG are working as intended.

You do realize that by taking away the PvE aspect the PvEers will lose interest in aquiring a useless IO and the market will become even more barren as the PvEer's that want them will stop going into PvP to get them. Yes, there are PvEer's that participate in PvP solely to get those drops and not because they enjoy PvP.

Way to kick the already miniscule PvP population in the teeth.

After the Horus Heresy, the Primarch of the Ultramarines, Roboute Guilliman, pushed for the adoption of his personal battle doctrine (known in-game as the Codex Astartes) to organise the remaining loyal Space Marine Legions, where the 9 loyalist legions are split into more than 1,000 chapters, each consisting of 10 companies of Marines.

    Thousand Sons
    Word Bearers
    Alpha Legion
Luna Wolves / Sons of Horus / Black Legion - This unit was renamed once in honor of Warmaster Horus before the Heresy and again by Abaddon the Despoiler after they joined the forces of Chaos.
