To expensive to get more then one at a time, so I was wondering which set have you found to offer the most variety as far as costumes go? For example able to make a magic or mutant origin out of the pack?

Thanks all.

Just realized I misspelled origin.

Natural Pack (with Ninja Run) and Mutant Pack (with Secondary Mutation) are the most useful. Ninja Run is a nice little travel power to use for the early levels until you get your pool powers, and Secondary Mutation provides you with a small random self-buff whenever you use it.

Costume wise -- Magic Pack probably provides the most variety, and the Science Pack gives you the ability to change size or gender.

The Technology (Cyborg) Pack is the least useful, IMO.

Go here for all the features of the origin packs. The party pack is just a bunch of emotes and the origins pack is a bunch of capes and auras. There is 2 auras and 1 cape for each origin. My suggestion is buy the Natural pack for Ninja run if you have a use for a decent travel power that all characters can buy and then the Mutant Pack for Secondary Mutation. However, powers are not all that so pick what you find the most interesting.

I just want more costumes, I want to look more elemental for my ice guy for example.

I took a look mutant looks like the best thing for elemental looking types.

Best to worst?:

1-Martial Arts Pack, robes are pretty cool and Ninja Run's great for traveling, found it can keep up with SS

2-Superscience pack, allows you to change gender per costume =)

3-Mutation pack, Secondary Mutation's a fun power, plus some of the costumes are pretty cool

4-Magic pack, just for the capes and hoods lol

5-Mac Edition In-Game item pack, for mission teleporter and valkyrie costume (wings and cape right off the bat for new toons)

6-Good vs. Evil In-Game item pack, for Pocket D teleporter and Jump Pack (combined with Sprint and Ninja Run, feels like a toned down SS/SJ combo)

7-Origins pack, for the capes and auras

8-Cyborg, Wedding, and Party pack all go last cuz they give much fun (unless you like killing yourself with a self-destruct power lol)

I thought the cyber offered as much for costumes as mutant, and what the hek? I have the physical copy of good vs evil edition and now it offers ninja run I feel ripped.

Magic offers a new occult barren but to be honest should of added more robe types for magic like characters.

I am more concerned with costumes then powers at this point, I really wish they would let me redem ninja run for already having good vs evil edition.

GvE doesn't give Ninja Run. It gives a Jump Pack.

Ninja was merely saying combining the powers from GvE and the MA pack is useful

Thank you, Champion.

Well, for fun costumes, I'd lean to the Martial Arts pack and the Magic pack. I'd say to get the Superscience pack as well eventually, for the Super Tailor, so you won't be subjected to just one body style (i.e. go from big to small with a toon for dramatic effect) lol

When it came out, many people were mentioning creating a Ranma character (male anime character that when exposed to cold water turned into a babe).

Besides going BOOM the science pack also have some neat combat auras. But yes the armor pieces are kind of meh.

It's really a tough call and don't envy having to make that decision (I feel fortunate for being around for all of them coming out and being able to get them as they came, for the most part).

It really depends on your tastes and what you're looking for concept-wise and such.

I don't think there is much for ice themed characters.
The Mutant was my first thought, as I have seen some people use pieces of the Organic Armor set to be crystalized/ice costume pieces.

The Origins Pack does not have costume pieces, but has the five capes and 10 auras... One of the auras is cryogenic and works nicely for cold/ice-themed characters.

My personal opinion of the packs' highlights:

Cyborg - Some nice, shiny and versatile parts (Many shoulder pieces and two nice chest detail pieces... and the head details are pretty popular as well). Overall, some nice parts that can be used together and/or individually.

Magic - The high-collared cape is nice if you have anyone who would use it. The Baron jacket is nice as well (Females get the magic bolero instead).

Science- Has a number of nice Head Detail 1 goggles/head pieces and the ability to change height and body types at the tailor.

Martial Arts - The Robes are nice, the helmet details can be used for a number of things... The two boots options (And multiple options within those choices) are pretty nice and versatile and the shouldermepads are also rather versatile.

Mutant - is a bit specific and not so much individual pieces to be picked out for various concepts. Of course, that's not entirely true... It just depends on what concepts you may come up with. And again, it may work well for you.

Mac Pack (Valkyrie Costume parts)- Nice shiny feathered armor pieces and a chest detail piece that is quite versatile. Nice shouldermapads as well.

Hope that may have helped somehow... Best of luck!

I just bought the Mutant Power Pack. However, I do not know how to access my secondary mutant powers. Could you tell me how?

And... something I don't think I've seen mentioned - they're available at character creation as opposed to 20/30 (any purchased ones will be like this.)

Open up your powers window. On the right - I *believe* under inherent - you'll see the power for Secondary Mutation. Drag out from there, put on tray, click, hope you don't turn into a monkey.

It's just one power called Secondary Mutation. It's a self buff that bestows 1 of 6 random buffs.

You have to click and drag it from your powers window to your power tray just like Sands of Mu, Nemesis Staff, etc.

The Martial Arts pack is the only one I've picked up so far. Ninja Run for the most part, but the customization options for the sword sets is great too.

They ALL float down here. When you're down here with us, you'll float too!
