Quote:because they are 'mind' attacks, they did not see it as thematic for SR to dodge them, because jumping to the left would not alter someones chances of reading your mindDoes anybody know why that is? I keep reading that over and over, but it makes no sense. I cannot imagine why an Illusionists Blind would not be tagged as a ranged mez, or why Mass Hypnosis wouldn't be tagged as AoE. Is this just an oversight on the Dev's part that hasn't been rectified in all these years, or is there a reason for it?

if you don't already have the ill/emp leveled you may still want to look at a /therm or /cold, with healing decay and diminishing returns debuffs can do a bit more now
-
i don't know to much about controllers, just make sure all of your attacks that can do have damage procs, go for as much + rech, acc as possible, try to hp cap
but soloing on an emp seems kinda counter productive i would suggest a cold, thermal, sonic, or something else with debuffs since you cannot buff phantoms and are not looking to be in a team -
well veats get a slightly higher stealth cap, here are the numbers, at lvl 50 most ATs stealth caps at 571, and base perception is 500
-
there is a stealth cap in PvP that makes stealth on anything other than a stalker useless
-
if you don't already, get a full set of doctored wounds for energize, then yeah a-merit the rest
-
with the upcoming fitness changes it wouldn't really be needed, when you can phase is a better get than hibernate
-
3 reds, 1 yellow, the rest greens, that combo should work on almost any low-mid level EB
-
then they need to update all of the pb discriptions aside from earth asaults
-
41 total, because this stops everything short of certain power boosted knocks from effecting you, in some cases you could go with less and not notice, it's mainly just to be safe
-
both tactics and the +perc io are all you can get on a veat
-
cause he wants to farm on a pvp character, not really sure though
-
uuhh some people want to pvp because they enjoy it, but it can be hard to when zones and the arena have been close to cleaned out by an update that change alot of things that did not need to be changed in ways they did not need to be changed
-
use invis, it will not supress either
-
for zone it's fine overall, i'd just change all of the purple single stats(het - dmg, apoc - dmg, grav - immob) to the purple procs if possible, also switching the mako and oblit to a different sets dmg proc proc in headsplitter and disembowel
yes the immobs proc will be a hold, but with no other mezs and mainly duals that may still work out for you
and in your heals go for 5 or 6 doctored wounds(everything but the heal/end) as that would give you 73 % end when 6 sloted 47% when 5, 97 % heal when 6 sloted, 88% when 5, and 97% rech in each heal -
unstealth yes, but it should not unhide, if it is bug it
-
market and hospital do count, about half way through on both
-
if build up was part of the dp set, i'd agree there, but with it being a part of a different set, you just used a non-dp power and then need to redraw, it's nothing new

Quote:for this one i've always thought they should have just made all buffs not stack even from different sources; although it would have made multiple of the same buffing type useless on a team, it would promote diversity on buffing ats in a team and no more blasters with insane stacks of clear mind or tripple fortDR I understand (Not the maths!) but here I think they did get the numbers wrong and DR'd stuff too harshly I think which prevented buffing AT's from having much use. Just adjust the DR curves, EXPLAIN them clearly and PvP would probably be ok again. Or maybe add +elusivity into ally buffs, so they work above and beyond DR.

the arch type of that guy would help, but the standard that would help would be capped hp and as much recharge as possible
-
bs/regen is just fine, but if you are just starting a squishier build such as a blaster or dom can be better suited at helping you gain survival knowledge
