KM and future nerf/fixes

I keep hearing KM is going to get the grand bat soon.. so can i get any clarifications on what exactly is wrong with it.. from a community perspective so that i can go ahead and purchase going rogue or not purchase going rogue.

The only thing I am aware about it being off is Concentrated Strike having a base 441 damage for scrappers. Buffed up, it is hitting for 1000+ damage (that's resisted damage by the way.) So basically it's doing critical level damage 100% of the time. Compared to crit percentages of other tier 9s, that's off by at least 85%. If the devs are on their game then you will see CS getting a bit of a PVP nerf soon.

KM for Brutes and Tanks look fine (don't know about stalkers.)

ya know, my buddy rolled a km/FA and is only getting it to hit about 500-600 on average resisted damage and about 700 with FE. I really don't see how people are getting it to hit for 1k damage, unless thats counting stuff like pain/emp buffs, fully saturated PS, ect.


Positron's i13 letter: We are trying to make PvP more accessible to new players, while giving experienced PvP'ers the advantage that comes with formulating tactics around the new systems we're putting in place. PvP from now on will be on our priority list. If something isn't working out, we'll be in there tweaking it and making it work, for the entire future of the product, not just Issue 13.

I have personally been hit for for 900ish (that's with 28% res to both damage types) and seen chat logs showing upwards of 1100. With procs it's even ouchier.

interesting, because for the 700 number i was factoring in both procs hitting (mako and heca)

CS seems to be doing some sort of Critical and/or BU dmg...been wrecking all of my squishies like nothing...

ironically im rolling one and praying for a nerf at the same time. Hits much harder than MA, and when you get hit with CS you are looking like :O ZOMG WTF WAS THAT I GOT ASED 2 TIMES?!..by a scrapper!?!

Starting to wonder if it's unresisted damage, but base PvP numbers on a Scrapper are almost 450 so slotted up it shouldn't be doing much more than 550ish (assuming the target's a squishy with a res shield and there's no -res or +dam in the equation).

Just noticed that KM has a much lower crit chance...AND...CS doesnt crit? is that so?

Crit CS = Build Up/Power Siphon recharges. CS's "crit" chance is a fixed 20%. Seems like the other attacks in KM have the standard 5/10% crit chance that other Scrapper sets have (it's only the tier 9s like Eagle's Claw, Headsplitter, etc. that have 15% crit chances).

maybe they over compensated when they were building around the dmg buff of siphon power

so you think its worth gettin rogue?? i like the praetorian story of the game besides the kheldian story arc.. its by far the best one in the game.. however idk if its worth 40 dollas..

As a pvper Rogue opens up more possibilities when building your toons, for instance on your scrap you have the op to go hibernate or shadow meld. And doms can get hoarfrost. dont know if the vills got that with i18 alone, or if u need GR to get hero epics.

the only thing I can see stalker KM getting beat with is the fact that Burst does 100% crit out of hide, it's lookin' a little too awesome.

im relatively sure it isn't unresisted. when i tested it out i used it on a regen and your standard blaster with ice shield and it did about 100 more damage to the regen.(slotted with 5 heca's and a mako proc) I also didn't factor in any PS's since its realistically hard to get more than one or two, especially since repulsing torrent doesn't count towards it.

which still doesn't make any sense because detailed info has the power doing 850ish (without procs) and is doing much less than that. i mean if detailed info has it doing 850 then, unresisted and unbuffed, it should do that amirite?
