There's no code to make the foreground run faster. There is a setting to make the background use up less processing power: MaxInactiveFps

Most praetorians don't have the same name
Statesman -- Tyrant
Ms. Liberty -- Dominatrix
Manticore -- Chimera
Positron -- Anti-Matter
Numina -- Diabolique
Sure, there's a couple, but Infernal's from another dimension anyway, and Malaise goes rogue every week -
Quote:No, other MMOs suck because your contact tells you to gather 20 dog livers, and you have to go kill 40 dogs who apparently don't have livers before you can complete the quest. We have hunt missions, they have liverless dog questsYeah remove all hunts. They're the reason why all the other mmo's suck.
(I'm not saying there's no room for improvement, I'm just saying there's a big difference.) -
Quote:Ah, I misunderstood. I apologize.Hotkeys from pop-up menus, not window toggle keys. I'm not talking about those. I'm talking about the right-click menu, where you get the options to "Delete" something - salvage, recipes, inspirations, chat tabs.
Hmm, I would assume the various popup menus in the UI are defined similarly to the QuickChat menu. So, (in theory) /popmenu name] would open the same menu under your current mouse location. If you could figure out the correct name, you could modify the popup menu yourself, sans mnemonic.
I don't know for certain that it would work, nor what the names are, but it's a possibility. It's more complicated than a simple menu option, but something is better than nothing, eh? -
The sad reality of this forum is that the best ideas which need the least polishing drop to the bottom because nobody has anything else to add. The terrible ideas erupt into flamewars and the ideas which need fine tuning get the number crunchers to argue over a 0.027% difference.

- Do you know how to spell "Mississippi"?
- Of course I know how to spell it. I just don't know when to stop!

If your friend has found a location where he believes there are multiple Day Jobs awarding, he should file a /bug report and then keep quiet if he's looking to get Bug Hunter. You're unlikely to get Bug Hunter by telling everyone about the bug, and asking the devs to give it to you will make them not want to -
The following costume change emotes don't need any booster pack:
CCBackflip
CCSalute
CCHowl
CCEvilLaugh
Other animated emotes can be found on Paragonwiki at the Emotes page. -
Possible? Absolutely. I've no idea how hard it would be to add the functionality, but definitely "possible".
The real question you shouild ask is whether JLove would sign off on such a thing, considering how easy it would be to cause clipping issues. Perhaps, however, if the current state of the hair models were treated as the maximum length, and then the slider were to allow you to shorten it? It seems to me that would drastically reduce the possibility of clipping. -
That's true of every single resistance debuff in the game. While I agree that this version of MA isn't particularly good, this is not a valid complaint. Especially since -X% resistance -- even with the target resisting the debuff -- will increase the damage output against the target for each member of your team by exactly X%.

Quote:Let's see... default window toggle keys:But you don't notice, and you're moving around, and your finger hits that 'E' key or 'D' key and suddenly you've got a new window in your face or something is just gone.
Why?
Why do our pop-up menus have hotkeys - and more importantly, why are these hotkeys so commonly clustered around the keys the game defaults for movement in the WASD style?
T: Target window
C: Chat window
N: Navigator window
I can't think of any others in the default keybinds, and the only one that's close to WASD is C, a slip of the finger away from D. And all it does is hide the chat window; pressing C again brings it back. You're also free to change the binding on those keys, and you don't even need to know the /bind command to do it - simply look under "Options".
Oh, and neither E nor D do anything with windows. E is "+turn_right" and D is "+right".
As for "why?" It's to allow you the freedom to hide unimportant parts of your UI while you're trying to fight. -
Masterminds. I can fight while I fiddle with a glowie, I can abosrob alpha strikes better than most anyone else, and I can take care of ambushes while I'm AFK.
Oh, and I'm a force multiplier, too. -

Quote:Kinetic Melee. Not quite normal street fighting with the kinetic swirls, but not Martial Arts or Super Strength, either.I'd like to see a Street-Fighting or Brawling melee set. Not every unarmed fighter is a martial artist in comics, and the Fighting power pool doesn't really cut it if you want Street-Fighting to be your main thing.
