There's no code to make the foreground run faster. There is a setting to make the background use up less processing power: MaxInactiveFps

The other thing to remember is that the updater which actually starts the game can only have 1 running at a time. So start the updater, do the next/I agree thing and once the game is running start the other instance.

Ah its something to do with graphic setting she asking .
I dont bother with it , i just downtune the 2nd window to minimal graphics , and run the first one on performance or high .
That usually solves the 1 pc multibox issue .
But somebody can help you with that -graphics setting . on your shortcut .
It's either xyzzy or up-up-down-down-left-right-left-right-B-A-Select-Start.
Or is it impulse 255...

Yes we used to have a code we added to the launcher .exe to lower the inactive process something simmiler to what we add to load test.
That MaxinactiveFps (number) seams to work fine.

"C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\CohUpdater.exe" -maxinactivefps 5
and for those that skip the updater...
"C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\CityOfHeroes.exe" -project coh -maxinactivefps 5
On a side note, I also use the command that automatically sets full World Detail at 400% on launch, since the options always reset to 200%:
"C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\CityOfHeroes.exe" -project coh -maxinactivefps 5 -visscale 4
