I don't believe the pre-order is available yet. It will probably become available in March/April, since that's when the early release of Dual Pistols and Demon Summoning is supposed to be. It seems logical that you would recieve the early release powersets immediately upon applying your pre-order code. If that's so, then the pre-order won't be available until the powersets are ready for early release.
More likely than not, there will be an announcement on the forums and a news post on the main web page (and maybe even a GMotD in-game) when the pre-orders become available. -
Quote:For shame, M_B!put "bright" in front of each for PBs, "Dark" in front of each for Warshades
It's only "Bright" and "Dark" for Nova form. Dwarf uses "White" and "Black".
Quote:Examples (For a WS):
On Tray 1:
/macro Dwf "powexec_toggle_on Black Dwarf$$goto_tray 8"
/macro Nov "powexec_toggle_on Dark Nova$$goto_tray 9"
On Tray 8:
/macro Hum "powexec_toggle_off Black Dwarf$$goto_tray 1"
/macro Nov "powexec_toggle_on Dark Nova$$goto_tray 9"
On Tray 9:
/macro Hum "powexec_toggle_off Dark Nova$$goto_tray 1"
/macro Dwf "powexec_toggle_on Black Dwarf$$goto_tray 8"
Dwf indicates changing into your Dwarf form, and displaying your Dwarf powers on tray 8.
Nov indicates changing into your Nova form, and displaying your Nova powers on tray 9.
Hum indicates changing back into your Human form, and displaying your Human powers on tray 1.
When you're in a Gladiator match, you have access to the Mastermind's pet commands in your pets window. Here's the rub: The buttons in the Pets window are actually macro buttons, which you can drag into your tray. And rather than being ugly gray buttons with text on them, they've got nice-looking pictures.
Once the pet command macro buttons are in your tray, you can right click them to edit the command, in order to suit your Kheldian. Personally, I like having the "Passive" icon (green/yellow with a human figure) for my human-form macro button, the "Aggressive" icon (red/yellow with a damage graphic) for my Nova-form macro button, and the "Defensive" icon (blue/yellow with a defense graphic) for my Dwarf-form macro button. The macro buttons you can drag & drop from the Gladiator match look like this:
Passive
Aggressive
Defensive
Attack
Follow
Goto
Stay
(There's also Dismiss, but I don't think that's available for Gladiators, and an icon indicating two pets have differing orders, but that's not a macro) -
Quote:I know a number of people who have switched from Hurdle-Health-Stamina to Swift-Hurdle-Stamina to bolster their use of Ninja Run as a travel power.I'd rather take a travel power than taking both swift and hurdle which defeat the purpose of buying ninja pack and only reason to slot a travel power is to get a IO bonus and the good ones are too expensive.
OTOH, Ninja Run is comparable to Fly's speed at getting around without any extra support. -

Um... the "The" you can optionally add at character creation is part of your title, and appears over your name over your head. This is the same title you can add to/alter at levels 15, 25, 35, 45, and 50.

Quote:KB Magnitude <=> KB DistanceSorry to double post but are Intangibility and Knockback's magnitude affected by their schedule placement? I was under the impression that slotting them increases their mag and the page only mentions KB's distance.
(Also: KD == KB Magnitude at 0.75 or less)
Intangibility enhancements affect Intangibility Magnitude, despite the fact that the enhancements are labeled "Duration".
Edit: Added some redirects for the 4 schedules. -

Quote:The Rogue Isles are pretty much due east of Florida, with Grandville 50mi off the US coast. Not until Lord Recluse dumps his North Atlantic islands and takes over some islands in the Caribbean. So, so sick of grey and brown.
... the market is cross-server (even reaching the EU servers) -
That's not what he's talking about He's talking about Schedule A (Damage, Accuracy, Endurance, etc. -- 33.33% for for +0 SOs) vs. Schedule B (Defense, Resistance, Range, etc. -- 20% for +0 SOs) vs. Schedule C (Interrupt -- 40% for +0 SOs) vs. Schedule D (Knockback -- 60% for +0 SOs)
Edit: wiki link
I don't think the game gives them any name at all. -
Quote:Golden_Ace, of course. I want to say he picked Forum Cartel, too, but I could be wrong on that.Anyway, for a long while while she was here and after she left, this "Cuppa" theme was pushed, which is where that title came from. If I recall correctly, the first person who actually reached 20,000 posts got to pick it, and that's what they picked. I don't know who it was, and I'd just as soon leave it that way in case they're still around.
Indeed. There is no Forum Cartel. It is not cunningly concealed among the apparently carefee forumgoing socialites of CoX, its trolls and lurkers. No one would suggest that its members have a political agenda within and beyond the forum. Nor would anyone believe, should it be whispered, that the Forum Cartel collects vast sums of money and favors in order to further the goals that it doesn't have. Moreover, an organization that does not exist certainly cannot have the influence or talent pool to develop its own subtle, social martial arts style.
Conversation Judo does not combine common, everyday movements with potent manipulations of internet tempers and stress veins in a devastating and nearly invisible manner. It isn't one of the Forum Cartel's many sources of secret power. It never sees use at the discussions, arguments, and flame wars of the forumites. People to not die from it, occasionally silently and occasionally screaming, days or weeks after not encountering it.
Students who are not learning this faction neutral style do not believe in secrecy and the universal application of ninja-ing. They do not train by walking on the unbroken eggshell of the dove, by holding complete conversational debates while making high-precision strikes or by meditating on the meaning of the acronyms and slang that they wield. -
PROTIP: Elec Blast doesn't miss more than any other blast set, unless you're counting something like Archery, which has an inherent accuracy bonus.
Now, damage dealt and usefulness of the secondary effect... those are points that have been debated many times previously. But "it misses more" is strictly false. -
Well, it certainly helps if the high post count is achieved answering Player Questions or writing Player Guides (see: Memphis_Bill), or writing strong, well-thought out arguments for whatever the case may be (see: Aett_Thorn), or hanging out in the Technical Help forum (see: BillZBubba). On the other hand, if most of the posts are from Forum Games (see: Golden_Ace), it's not quite the same thing. GA may be famous for his prodigious number of posts, but people like BillZ and Aett are more generally respected, I think.

I pretty much just scan for new posts in Player Questions, Archetypes & Powers General Discussion, City Life - CoH & CoV General Discussions, Suggestions and Ideas, and Comic and Hero/Villain Culture (occasionally looking at the Mastermind and Defender forums, too) whenever I've got free time. Then I respond if I feel like saying anything. I do create new threadds on occasion, but it's rare.
Just doing that, I've racked up an average of 27.34 posts per day since registering (3 years ago next Friday)
I should note that I am, in fact, sitting in front of my computer for most of the day. I've even got my laptop with me in my classes, and most of my classes are liesurely enough to allow me time to make a post here or there. -
You want the arena's construction site back...? Or are you just asking for progressive zone alterations issue-to-issue to be something other than instantaneous (see: Architect Entertainment)
-
You might be able to get away with it doing something like ".The Amazing Man", though I've never felt the need to try it out.

What's this "snow" you speak of?
o.o
Quote:Not really. I've lived my entire life south of the Mason-Dixon line, and use "y'all" regularly in conversation, but I can admit that it's not grammatically correct English.Y'all is southern (lots of planets have a south) and is actually more grammatically correct than some teachers might want you to think. It's an abbreviated form of 'you all' and is properly used when you're talking to a group.
"Y'all" is a contraction of "you all," yes. However, "you all" is not correct English second person plural. In proper English, "you" is both second person singular and second person plural, with quantity to be determined by context. The same is not true of first person (I/me vs. we/us) or third person (him/her vs. them/they), where plurality is clear.
Because plurality-by-inference can cause confusion, people often try to clarify themselves. In most of the southern US, this clarification process has generally manifested as "you all," or "y'all". In the north (especially in New Joisei), the same process has resulted in constructions such as "youse guys". -
Quote:If you don't want your children to become violent criminals bent on world conquest, then you need to act immediately. Don't let them play video games. Keep them away from books. And you'd probably better keep them inside, too. I'd suggest that you replace those other activities with something better. Something that can heal them. I'd suggest Television. I often wish I'd watched more TV as a youth. Who knows what I could have been?I was watching a very interesting show last night as I slipped deeper into a TV induced coma. I really think it speaks to you and your experience with TV.
It was called "Who wants to be a Millionaire by hunting down Rotten Luck and dragging him back to the warm loving TV?"
Title seemed a bit long at first but I really did not mind. The contestants were entertaining, the super villain types who think elephants are larger than the moon.
I look forward to tonight's episode.... -

Language filters are not an excuse to allow you to use vulgar language; they're in place to protect people who don't want to hear it from people who have no regard for the rules. -
Yeah. The Deadly Apocalypse is possible with a single team, but not every build can contribute enough, and you need most of the team to be fairly high level as well. At beast, you've got a duo working at each banner if you're working as one team, and that's difficult to do.
