If you get to my arcs, the 3rd one has been changed and now takes an hour instead of a half hour. There are more bad guy types and more suprises. The reason for the change was due to the devs taking out the Crey Lab map, now it is a large map. I advise you to consider doing these on heroic or tenacious for speed.

I am not the biggest fan of PvP, but i recognized it as an important part of CoH. I am glad to see CriticalKat doing events that new players can join, but just as important is having events specifically for the advanced player.

Samuraiko published the Dropship video approximately 3 weeks before i13 went live and that was when i saw the warning the devs were making the dropships invulnerable!

I will try to find the exact post and confirm but you can try to take the dropship but i recommend you guys peruse the forums first to make sure you can still do it! I have not heard of a group doing it since i13!

My main is:
Felecia Divine (Dark Defender), her counterpart has a history already and has already fled Praetorian Earth to help join the fight in our universe. Her name is Praetorian Plague (Emp/Rad Defender).

My fav group is CoT, they give the most challenge hiding in caves and they give the best drops.
Low level you get Luck Charms and high level is where you get your Magical Conspiracy, Pangean Soil, and Diefic Weapons.
Also i have recieved more Devastaions, Apocalypse, and Mako's from CoT than any other group except the Cimerorans.
I love Arachnos (except Mu), Rikti, Clockwork, Vahzilok, Crey, Freakshow, Banished Pantheon and AV's

Least Favorite is Arachnos Mu, they sap endurance much faster than Malta and are a big irratation. But Malta would be my 2nd least fav.
I hate Malta, Carnies, Tsoo, Council and Nemesis.

Champion - The Community Server

How long ago was your raid? If i remember correctly on the release of i13 the Rikti Ships were made invincible, the only way you could shoot one down was with a team on TEST Server.

I soooo wanted to get my team to take them out but i saw the notice regarding the ships.

Samuraiko filmed a few takedowns when we were on TEST for i14, there might be beautiful footage of me (i was the black catgirl with red outfit) flying through a ship and surviving only to be blasted by the one coming behind it (so much for phase shift), i spiralled to my doom in not so humble fashion. Never try to solo one of these

For the big event i am still without a partner. Lunitik needs to respec and get enhancements, so i will use my Grav/Emp or more likely Felecia since i am most familiar with this power set, unless i can get Lunatik up to speed by then.

I am glad they have an AE building in Atlas, it keeps the farmers and MA Babies away from the rest of us smart enough to avoid Atlas, otherwise we would have to put up with the constant spams everywhere. I love the silence in KR and RWZ, lets me create in peace.

Spine/Regen Scrapper
Dark Defender is growing or try Emp/Rad
Fire/Kin Controller or try Illusion/Rad (i think Ice/Storm is way cooler (pun))
Energy Blaster (Blapper) (i prefer Assault/Device)

This is according to my observation of the most seen walking through atlas and having them on my teams.

My advice is to try different ones until you find what works for you.
I hate my stone tank (endurance hog) but like Invulnerable/Super Strength, that is just me, but then again i prefer Emps and Dark Defender (my all time fav) as opposed to tanks and scrappers.

You can tank with mainly anything if you put your mind to it, my top 4 tanks are Dark/Dark Defender, Emp/Rad Defender, Fire/Emp Controller and Warshade.

You should see me tank with my real tanks (stone, ice and invuln tanks) and scrappers (dark and spine/regen), after a few minutes the team starts telling me to go get my defender, i am that bad.

It's all in your playstyle, test and enjoy everything

Absolutely possible, the main powers to take out the AV:
Darkest Night - to stop him from hitting back
Tar Patch - reduce his resistance
ShadowFall should be on for your own defence just in case
Power up your attack and hit with Darkblast, Gloom, Moonbeam, and if he is low then you can Blackstar or just keep on him.

In your case: Power up your attack (hit your accolades, yellows, reds, and Power Build Up if you have it) then use Mental Blast, Subdue, and Psionic Lance. Your nuke equivalent if i remember correctly is Psychic Wail.

This will kill EB's rather easily but AV's you will probably still need a temp pet for the extra damage you may need.
Romulus - use Mechs (Vanguard and/or Longbow).
Ghost Widow - DO NOT USE FLUFFY! OR SHIVANS! use a Mech or Illusions if you are a Illusion Controller.
Mary McComber use a Shivan.
All other AV's are weak against Shivans and Mechs.
Exception is RV AV's - use a full 8 person team is my advice, don't solo them unless you really know what your doing.

I pretty much solo'd from 1-50 in 3 months playing 2-4 hours a day doing missions and streetsweeping only, no TF's, Farms, or PLing. I did not find any villians overpowering.

D3 is the Jack/Jill of all trades, the set lets you accomplish just about anything but is not as powerful as a specific AT. You will have massive damage but not on the scale of a scrapper or fire blaster.
You will have bigger heals but you need a villian target, something a Emp doesnt need, same with Rez.
My Dark Defender and my Warshade (for when i feel like shooting everything - squid form) are my favs

For the days when Tarpatch (-30% resist) and damage (read the Blackstar notation again and apply it to Moonbeam, Gloom, and Darkblast), i always try to carry temp pets to speed things up. I now know which pets are effective against which AV's, except the RV AV's which are a real pain-in-the-[censored].

I should have mentioned Fluffy - it has sooooo many uses. It distracts the enemy, tentacles them, holds them, heals you, and gets up and personal to your opponent. just watch out running around a zone, Fluffy loves to Aggro everything in the area and bring them right to you! (I said it was a useful pet, i never said it was a smart one)

I presume you have a coalition going by now, but on the off chance you dont, talk to Xi Cap, or contact me again and i will get you in with Rented Portals sg, they are specifically a service sg that provides teleports to new sg's.

I read the first 2 pages as usual, so if i repeat anything, sorry. We have many women in our sg and coalition and that makes no difference, we all get along and respect each other. We have videos, pictures, Ventrillo, e-mail and more to know who is a man or woman. Many in the sg are the wives of other members and you might be surprised by the number of wives who have dragged thier hubby's into CoH.

I find more woman enjoy the atmosphere in CoH over any other game, only EQ and FFXI have i meet so many others.

As for outfits i am well known for my blue stripper outfit and my valentines day catgirl, but i also have the sg armored Justice uniform and my Baroque Battlesuit.

I host regular CC's and enjoy the creativity from the people who come out, many of them are men and some come as woman but still make impressive outfits.

My bf William Alexander and i also host Live dinner parties at Woodbine RaceTrack (Willow's Restaraunt) in Toronto, Canada for AOW (sg) members. This game has brought many great people together, so respect each other and above all HAVE FUN THAT IS AN ORDER

I use Dark/Dark/Power though, the Dark Epic has little to offer you cant use from your primary and secondary.

I only use Power Boost from the epic set to get the 80% damage increase, but that is because i pvp as well.

Try all of the dark powers and see which powers you like best then respec when you hit level 50 to keep the powers you like.
There are 2 groups of defenders, those who rely on Tarpatch and those like me who use it as an afterthought. You need to find out what your playstyle is.
These are the powers i currently use but i have used all the dark powers and have found from the epic set Dominate (psi) to compliment lifedrain. I will list my current Enhancements, but i recommend SO's to start. All IO's are lvl 50.

Most ppl will tell you this is a bad mix, well it works for me and people always want to PvP or team with me.

Air Superiority gives you a surprise attack that does Knockdown and a fair amount of damage, i have fly so i do not need hover.

I took Phase shift early so i can chase villians in BloodyBay into thier base as well as spring ambushes. Also Invis and Phase Shift lets you stealth TaskForces.

Blackstar is your Big Nuke. Hit all your accolades, pop 2 yellow and 2 red inspirations, hit Power Build Up and WHAM - you can take out most opponents in one blast and those left standing still have minus accuaracy and other effects. Hit your blue inspirations right after triggering blackstar so you recover endurance.

BlackHole is said to be the most useless power but it can stop AV's from attacking, seperate Lord Recluse from the Pylons in the Statesman Task Force, Halt attacks from mito's (Hamidon), and with Phase Shift lets you control PvP.

You might have heard Superspeed and Superjump is best for pvp, that is not totally true, with 2 slotted Fly and Swift you will have speed and in an outdoor area you have control.

Only YOU can decide what are your best powers!

So try them all and above all HAVE FUN THAT IS AN ORDER

Hmmm, i hear lots of ppl say Emps sux, but teams that do not have an emp with them die alot and waste alot of time. To balance a 8 person team Emps really do speed things up, you need a good mix of types. Plus as an Emp i am always in demand.

As for Gravity, i did not miss the point. MY point was the Holds are the main point of gravity powers and are useful for locking down groups. Having a pet that also helps lockdown and acts as a distraction is very useful. As a SUPPORT POWER gravity does very well.

If you want more damage and defence you get that from the EPIC power sets.

Each AT and power has their uses, you just have to understand what they do and what your playstyle is.

If you get Invisibility and Phase Shift by level 20 you can stealth Bloody Bay and even enter the villian base. You can also use invis to stealth TF's so dont laugh at these powers. Phase Shift is also good for triggering ambushes (Arachnos and Stalkers).
Dimension Shift is very useful for knocking out Hami Nodules but your allies might not like it, your Hold powers are better for this.
