The willingness of one to sacrifice everything for someone else no matter the personal cost can be inspiring for some! But to each his/her won...cheers!

I have no interest in a movie that says, 'Well, as a dreamer in a cruel world, you're better off dead.'

    Major Spoiler Alert:

Then by no means see the film...however she was being lobotomized over money(a will) and not a mental condition. She was tramatized by the death of her sister at the hands of her evil step-dad and sent to the institution...a bribe was paid for the procedure to be done before the police could question her! The end of the film made sense to me...there was more to it than a lobotomization. I do however understand your situation(some what) from your writings and would recommend you pass on the film and maybe the thread.

I thought the film was a solid c+ with its mix and match artistic touches. I loved that each girl had a speciality weapon(katana, tomahawk, flitlock, broadsword). The baddies looked great espically the steampunk nazis's. Now the some of the lines in the film were just damn funny...my friends and I laughed at several...we chatted after the movie and weren't sure if they were meant to be or not as we were the only ones laughing. The WWI scene was worth the price of the flick for me

Unless you are side-kicked up and do not have your aoe def...Nems will shred you like an Enron exec in the records room!
  5. Yes, I was in the middle of an NPC chatting with me when i heard "You have been logged in for "one second...take that bi@%h" 31 hours" Now thats the kind of improvements I have been waiting for!
  6. I would be down with adding another inherent of or choosing

/agree. Last nite i experienced this with my lvl 14 brute...8 man team - 1 dom been around a while, 6 brute/scraps major vet badges and 1 corr who was a new player(lack of vet badges(sure it could be a 2nd acct) and the way they spoke about the game told the tale). Bad pulls by the corr, rushing ahead and engaging 2nd grps while the ambushes were inbound and in sight...several team wipes later the corr was still having a blast...the team leader and several vets were getting a ticked...i decided to take ownership of the pulling with my brute and instructed the corr to not engage until i had the agro and was surrounded...the wipes vanished and so did the waves of ambushes. once we moved past the basic communication methods that the corr was not hearing all was well.

Now after the epicly long mish the team leader decided his will to live was gone and needed a break...told him i understand and no worries. Having fun while dying is part of the game...it dosnt last forever...if the team is dying take ownership and fix the problem...keep the faith and have fun...if a new player see's that peeps are having fun even while dying just wonder what they will say when see teams that are steamrollers?

    .
Wait did they get rid of the options to choose between Paragon City, Rogue isle and Praetoria the at the creation screen? A simple sign stating the potential for a real challenge lies in Praetoria might help...or hey new casual gamer try these zones first before opting into Praetoria.
  9. Cruddy cgi, crappy dialogue and weak sauce fight scene...i say the trailer looks awful. first they make Spiderman 3, Xmen 3, FF 1&2 and Wolverine movies and now they are going after my Thundercats...guess I'll suck it up and wait for the reboot!
  10. How about a warning sign at the creation screen letting everyone know that "Praetoria is designed to have periodic challenges that will tax your gaming skills. Paragon City or Rogue Isles might be a better choice if you are unable to handle ambushes and midly complex gaming situations."

I really dont understand the issue at hand...the game delt the user a defeat or multi defeats? Having to apply multi holds on Lts? Stalkers being seen? Really these are issues that trouble the user base...really?

I'm sorry but I'm old, usually drink an adult beverage or two, play with almost zero game volume, listen to the Cape radio and chat on the phone all while playing and have almost zero issues with 99.9% of the content teamed or solo and to boot im not the best gamer nor am i loaded with io's. Play more peeps play more!

Those looked like Rularuu claws which are unlockable.
  12. My 8yr old daughter "Little V" has been playing for years by my side off and on...last nite she was showing some baddies the error of their ways. She also asked if the new "tic-tocs" (Clockwork) "where available to come over and work on our lawn?" "I was like no sweet girl they are busy...so you think our lawn looks bad huh?" :P

/agree...and if FUD and DOOM is really that bothersome might be time to up the old meds or step away from the net! Deep breaths...breath in breath out...wax on wax off

/that...more end game content is the popular bet! Anything else i would be shocked!! The subject was beat to death in i19 beta.
  15. I'd bet its more end-game stuffs and the NDA is there to spark excitment seeing how a there are some very pretty stuffs coming out on the horizon! I'll hope for a new graphics engine but I'm prep'd for a major rebuff!

I understand this on many levels...now for those who are barely hanging on to CoX and not overly excitied about i19 and the upcoming i20 it might be a good time for some i21 news however small it may be...and soon™ wont cover it!

Probably the most requested costume pack placed into production...no...other less requested packs must come first I can hear it now but they are sooo much easier to create!

    Three quick questions Marcian:

    1. Looking at your crowd do u happen to show your Trailer before a "Matlock" movie marathon? Lots of blue-hairs in there!

    2. If i wished to make a film like this could i find the web site in the AE building? If not is it near Atlas Park?

Plus they mentioned new systems in I20, new incarnate powers, (Judgement is listed on the Incarnate Overview page in the GR site, I'm sure that's going to be in I20.)
We saw most of this a while back when there was test server leak...nothing new!

And that's only what we know of so far...
...this is where I'm hoping something really special is happening that would require a signed NDA...or has the Marketing team come back for more?
  21. A 12-24 person Trial/TF, maybe a new zone, possibly a few costume pieces and a few new tile sets = a signed NDA...o boy
  22. <using Boogers voice from Revenge of the Nerds> Boy you Mensa's sure can party
  23. They do look like over-grown rats...wish we had a few model choices for each pets...maybe in i20?
  24. 75+ here...i enjoy chatting/teaming with my friends first and formost. New pwrs and costumes secondly and knowing the in's and out's of the game thirdly. Lately i'm starting to realize that "habit" might be a big reason why im still here. I'm really hoping i20 brings something special or it may be my last issue Sure i may come back but other online stuffs might be calling me!
