Your talking PvE mate, I'm talking PvP. In PvE any blaster be succesful.
-
For controllers, 2 accuracy 1 hold 3 recharge, so you can spam the hold as fast as you can and break mes protection and achieve containment status. Faster you spam holds= faster you burn break frees.
For a corrupter you don't have to 6 slot your hold, you don't need to rely on it as much as you don't get any containment bonus, and your already */cold and so can annhilate any sort of recharge, and render them completely useless and so is much better, so freeze ray in your case is optional. Personally i'd just slot it 2 acc 1 recharge. -
Looks like a great build to me mate, just take the slots out of stealth, it doesn't need defence buffs, just the one endurance redux will do. that leaves you with 4 slots spare.
Stick a recharge in assassin strike
Stick a recharge in soaring dragon.
Stick a recharge in golden dragonfly.
Stick a tohitbuff in build up.
I'd pull some slots out of swift aswell, and transfer them as tohitbuffs in build up. You'll have fast horizontal movement in the form of combat jumping and hurdle.
Personal thing for me, unless you plan on using invisibility for tracking, superspeed will help you aswell so could be useful as a level 49 power.
Edit: If you plan on teaming with other stalkers grant invisi, will be of great use. I'm mainly solo and selfish in a way with my stalker and prefer to have something like invisbility or superspeed for myself, helps greatly with performance. -
Ice/energy blaster has the highest DPS out of all the blaster combinations, the animations are fast and there is a lot of synergy between the primary and secondary in the form of all the ice power effects are buffable. Another insanely high damage blaster is fire/elec and is also known for doing the highest damage, and having control.
For blasters ice and fire are known as the best because they do such a high damage and have short animation times. Energy and sonic are hard hitting but fall because of their animation times and the nerf of whirlwind.
Energy and electric are the favourite secondaries for PvP because they have the highest hitting melee attacks. Fact of the matter blasters have low hp, and so can be taken down easily, for a blaster to function well he hast to deliver a pack load of damage, and thats where other secondaries don't cut it.
This is for the role of getting kills, if you want to get the kills (I know i'd want to) These sets are the best choices, and are pretty easy to play. -

Why is it that if you have a damage secondary, you're not supposed to use it much?
[/ QUOTE ]Any character who neglects their secondary is ineffective, and more of a liability than one doesn't, IMNSHO.

Thats rubbish, it depends on what role you want to play. -

if your ognna scrap energy melee is the best.
[/ QUOTE ]No.. thats hit and run, hence Elernet.
Linky.
( Go to Media, then down to Elernet and click PvP Videos )

That's his playstyle dude, he plays hit and run. Fact of the matter energy melee does the highest damage output out of hide, hence if you want to stand and scrap you won't be in hide, so energy melee is the best choice.
Claws isn't bad at PvP, it has great soft control in the form of knocback, with shockwave and focus, I could keep a squishy perma floored. Its a great squishy killer, and the recharge times are very fast on claws. The bad part is it has low burst damage, and the damage type is lessly resisted, which gives it a problem in the high end of PvP where all the squishies have shields. -

Hero Builder is wrong. All the controller sets single target holds are identical in everything except animation.
[/ QUOTE ]
This can't be true... you only have to takea couple of trollers through outbreak to see the difference. Try Earth and Mind, take both single target holds. Mind does much more dmg than Earth...
[/ QUOTE ]
Different damage type dude, mind is psi damage where earth is s/l damage. Mobs have different resistances to different damage types. In the case of outbreak psi is lessly resisted so gives the idea that it does more damage. -
Reduced the repel radius from 20 to 15 iirc. Its so easy to get into hurricaine its unreal now. All stems from the moaners
Just going to have to change my stormy tactics a lot more now i guess. Still sucks though

Everclear:
Claws/Dark armour scrapper

rofl i was only joking about the toons i listed. I really don't think i have it in my to level another hero.
If i had to choose toons i'd like to have:
Fire/TA controller
Illusion/empathy controller
Earth/rad controller
Ice/devices blaster.
Ice/* tank.
Rad/Psi defender -
omg, have mercy on me i split my drink all over me laughing at xiro. HAHA
-
Dark armour, Ninjitsu and super reflexes all have +perception. Throw in black scorpion patron power OR web grenade temp powers OR fly temp power OR fly travel power OR impale, the empath is owned
-
What Philosopher said, if you go all human form, acrobatics will definately help.
-
Key tip for DA is toggle management. Don't run every toggle all the time, look at your combat log and see the damage type and from there turn on which ever resistances you need. Only time i'd be running every DA toggle was if i had a buffer behind me.
-
Ice/cold is very VERY good in PvP, insanely good. Pick up your 3ice blasts, freeze ray, aim, single target debuffs, aid self and acrobatics and your good to go.
-
4stalkers vs 2blasters and an empath eh?
Anyone want to play gank the empath -
AHHHH the self rez. Lol the scrapper has to be dead for that
even when he rez's he doesn't have full hp. Just pop a break free then kill him again
-
Yeah its danger sense toggle, it has AoE and range defence, so is extra heavy on endurance.

PVPing stone brutes that aren't good at analysing their opponents tactics are what I call "targets".
Saying that, once you know what to do against who (IE against any /dark scrappers: run, don't kill them or they detoggle granite and you die, or elec/ blasters: just don't put granite up in the first place) and so forth, the fact you are an unmovable lump of rock at or near the damage resistance cap is helpful. Combine it with EM for the disorient and you have a potent PVP force.
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm confused with your examples here, against a */dark scrapper run? Otherwise they'll detoggle granite, granite cannot be detoggled, against a elec/* blaster don't put granite up at all. Any reasoning behind this? Sorry don't understand what you mean
Brute's main use in PvP team is the key frontliner. Taunt-bot and damage dealer. -
Just want to apologise to cambo and dawnie about last night when i started that team then suddenly dropped. My computer just died on me, tried several times to get it running- gave up then went to get drunk.

Fire/stone works very very well in PvE.
