Quote:I think (at least part of) your problem is that you feel that the Market is a store. It is not. There is no such thing as you deciding what a "fair" price is for anyone other than yourself. For what it is worth, I don't blame the marketeers for this. In real life, producers how found a way to protect their goods from such treatment by a middle man. They write the recommended retail price directly on the packaging - we have no protection from such things in this game and that is the Dev's fault not yours.

I mainly use the boathouse area, but if it seems to be slim pickings, I'll hop over to Skyway and hit the highways and usually get some there (and often I'll hop back and forth if need be).

Damn, I feel your pain, man. Sorry to hear, hate those typos.

Quote:Exactly what I was thinking, and given the (current, anyway) structure of the two-sided Incarnate powers model, that looks like it could happen. My thinking since Keyes came out, is that if the future slots use the same 2 kinds of xp, then running Keyes will become much more useful. Instead of running whatever newer (and predictably harder) trials they come up with, we run the older one that is actually pretty easy on a team of +3 incarnate characters.
-
Except that BOTH types of iXP are earned, which could be of interest to someone who wanted to "double up" and work on both slot paths at once. (In practice, this doesn't seem to be much inducement in my experience, but I could see it interesting some potentially.)

Quote:This. I do this exclusively, and have no problems getting my full Tip complement quickly and easily. Some days, I even get Tip drops from bosses 100% of the time, so focusing on the LTs and bosses has been great in my experience.People keep recommending that, and I have to say I've found it terribly inefficient the few times I've tried it, in comparison to what I normally do.
Bosses and Lts have a higher tip drop rate than minions. I find I have no issues getting tips quickly if I bounce around Talos or Sharkhead focusing on Bosses and Lts.
Travelling out to Dark Astoria and back (even with an SG teleporter) generally takes longer than it takes me to just kill stuff near the tram. -

Quote:Didn't see anyone mention this (apologies if I missed it), wanted to let you know in case you didn't that you don't have to use the default spines (I agree, they're massively ugly). They are customizable at the tailor, so perhaps you could check out the other options and see if you like any of the others better. If you already knew this, then never mind...I initially wanted to go plant/thorn, but I hate the spines.(They never look good with my costumes)

Quote:They were added in Issue 3, since you're interested in being complete here. The change allowing EB versions to count was made at the same time the EB versions were made. The game, according to Positron, can't tell the difference between a AV and EB versions of critters. Just like it can't tell the difference between the War Wolves by rank.
For instance if they made a minion ranked version of Anti-Matter, that would count for the badge. -
Quote:I can state it as fact, because for me, it is. I didn't say it to boast (nor do I think most do when stating such).I don't quite buy into that argument. I think a lot of people throw it out due to braggadocio ("inf means nothing to me, lol!"), but it it were true, then you would always be buying my sole crafted offerings for whatever price I was selling it at, since it is all play money after all.
I think for you to extend your argument to "if that were true all my stuff would sell at whatever price I want" is stretching it.
Guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. -
Quote:I really don't think there's much of a mystery to it at all -- it's pure human laziness. I buy pre-crafted virtually always, specifically because I want to grab, slot and go without being bothered to micro-manage my toon to the extent of crafting (I happily craft when selling, however). I think there are a lot of people in that boat -- fake play virtual money that's already incredibly easy to get really doesn't compare to being able to jump right back into the fray sporting your new shiny.I agree that it is a mystery for the ages why enhancements usually trade for significantly more than their component pieces, but they do.

The change allowing EB versions to count was made many, many moons ago.

Don't really want to reinvent the wheel, but there are a lot of threads in this forum with great advice on how to find him once he's spawned, where people have successfully looked, etc. It's obviously a situation that people encounter quite a bit, as it comes up so regularly, so I recommend searching for the various threads, giving them a read and then trying to get a team together. Hopefully you'll find some of the advice worthwhile and will be successful. (Arcana's post, for example, is full of win as usual.)
Best of luck! -
Also, don't forget you can auto-complete one of the missions (if I'm running on a squishy, I often choose the penultimate mission containing The Honoree) if it gets to be too much (and if you haven't done so recently, of course).

This page may answer many of your questions (there are more wings that you can earn as recipe drops or purchase from other players via the markets than those that come via Veteran Rewards or in purchasable packs).
-
You can also just type "/chatsave" on any toon where you have the chat set up the way you like it, then "/chatload" on any toon you want to have that same setup. Easy-peasy.

Same thing here. I have cookies set fine, but regardless, I always have to answer my security questions when logging into my NCSoft master account on any PC.
I don't make a big deal out of it because my security questions are easy for me to remember, but it is mildly annoying to have to always do. -
Welcome back finally, Obsidius, and HUGE congrats on your impending fatherhood!
