What are the chances of CoP trial going to Que?

This would help the the time needed to co-ordinate a league and be sure they can be of mixed alignment.

The CoP Trial isn't eligible for mixed alignment teams -- there's one blue-side, and one red. They are completely separate Trials.

Yes, but the OP specifically indicated the queue system would assist teams in being mixed for the CoP Trials.

Not only is the CoP separated by red/blue, but it requires zoning into a base to make use of the SG raid 'porter. The TUT/league does not work in bases (and that is not likely to change anytime soon). If you are queued and enter a base, you will be kicked from the queue.

I think the OP's suggestion means dropping the requirement that the raid start via the SG raid teleporter and using the Team-Up Teleporter instead... a suggestion I am entirely in favor of.

And we've been told that will not happen. It took Castle 3 years to get the CoP changes, and the developers have said it will continue to start in bases.

Got a quote?

I don't doubt you, mind, just wondering - since base raiding is nonexistant - if they mentioned the reasoning. (Besides having SOME reason to get the oracle/mission computer. That thing needs love.)

just because someone says no once doesn't mean your not aloud to keep asking.

I Agree with the spirit of the OP. Drop the base requirement and the trial will get run more frequently. Its the Rogue/Vig issue that usually holds them up. The little things like not being able to move players between teams when in/out of the base makes just makes the basic management more of a hassle than it should be.

Besides the CoP I'd like to see each TF and SF get it's own LFG entry-- this might help some folks who don't use the global channels get on those TFs. This might especially mean Free players.

Heck I'd like to see even regular PUG teams able to add themselves to folks in the LFG queue, as an optional team setting. That would be sweet.

I'd agree that having the CoP Trial able to be formed via Team-Up Teleporter would be an easier and more convenient way to form the Trial. As someone who does not belong to any supergroups whatsoever, it would be something I'd be on board for. However, doing that would minimize the necessity and glamour of bases. I think the base building community is still waiting anxiously waiting for base raids to return and I don't think they want something else taken away from them. There needs to be some more practical uses for bases other than storage and zone teleporters, especially with all the QoL changes we've gotten recently; such as in-game e-mail for example.

Sadly it was in the closed beta sections (both Issue 18 closed beta and Issue 20 pre-beta) and comments in the closed beta "play with the developer" sessions.

The reasoning, if I remember correctly, was that it was a super group event not a league trial. The CoP was always designed for super groups, it was to be a selling point as to why you needed to have a base for your group. It is, as you guessed, there to provide groups with a reason to get raid teleporters and oracle/mission computers.

I'm talking about being told "no" repeatedly over the course of about 9 months. I have the distinct impression that if you want the CoP Trial added to the LFG Queue, you'll have to inspire the developers to make something else for the raid teleporters and oracle/mission computers. If you can't come up with a compelling use for those (besides base raiding), then you aren't going to get anywhere with asking for the CoP to be removed from bases.

I think this will always be the sticking point for the request to remove the CoP from bases.
