Global Channels

Hi everyone. I'm probably missing something really obvious so feel free to mock and ridicule me, but I'm having trouble with the global channels. I have joined a global channel on my server but I can only see that channel on the toon I joined it on. Every other character I log into does not get the MOTD from that channel and I can't see any of the chat.

I tried joining the channel again but obviously they work off of global IDs so it said I was already part of that channel. Any help would be appreciated.

You have access to the channel; you just can't see it on your other characters because it hasn't been added to your tab. Right-click the tab and choose "Edit Tab"; you'll then be able to add it (from right pane to left pane) to the tab so it's visible.

Also, if you click "save chat settings" button at the bottom of the main options menu it will save all your chat channel tab settings and add all your channels to the same tabs for each character when you click the "load chat settings" button next to the "save chat settings" button.

You can also just type "/chatsave" on any toon where you have the chat set up the way you like it, then "/chatload" on any toon you want to have that same setup. Easy-peasy.
