I dont see the problem. You pay for a super pack. You get a super pack. You know what can you get from there. You know what you can access and what not. Whats the problem? Or do you expect having access to everything a VIP has?

Mmm Radiation Emission/Sonic Blast defender, it seems
-
-
I think that the inmob doesnt have a -knockback
-
Yeah, is not great, it would be much cooler a "chance for +1 magnitude" (+2 on the superior?) or something like that.
I will probably six slot it in Heart of Darkness in my incoming Dark/Dark troller -
I was thinking...there may be more people wanting a refer code, I have a few still to use, so I guess I could post it here in case anyone needs it. Just remember, you need to be free/premium for 3 months at least (unless you were never a VIP)
Quote:P.D: If you use it, please P.M me to remove this from the thread. Or just post hereGreetings Friend,
Your friend, Erhnam, has sent you a Reactivation Credit Serial Code. If you decide to reactivate your VIP Status, you will receive 500 Paragon Points!
Your Serial Code is: 29LB-GZLC-HB9L-WENZ-A29S -
Quote:What are you gonna do in the free time?I will be making 4 dark controllers: dark/storm, dark/dark, dark/ff and dark/time.
I will also make fire/dark and illusion/dark controllers. Oh, and earth/dark.
I also plan a few dominators: fire/dark, dark/fire, dark/energy, earth/dark, and possibly dark/dark.
I also vaguely want to make dark/poison and dark/rad controllers, but I am making too many already.
Oh! And a staff/wp brute!

Quote:This is just trolling, nothing elseIf you dont use lore you dont love the game frankly you hate it and are trying to force it and everyone else playing it to break immersion. Its like meeting someone trying to RP an athiest. It just doesnt work in a world with statesman. not one bit. Such beings would probably if anything increase the strength of all faith based foundations and most would almost certainly seek to aquire such beings to join thier ranks and preach thier causes.

...until I can roll my Dark Control/Dark Affinity Controller! Cant wait!! >_<
If only we could get an ETA on i22...
What about you? :P -
Sure, lets go
Quote:Firstly, I clicked on the "Buy now" option which does NOT give you the info displayed in the screenshot above. It simply takes you directly to the payment details setup. Fact.
Quote:Secondly, I have done this several times with purchases such as the Wedding/Science Packs, Going Rogue and so on, so forth. Every single one of which can be applied to an existing account. So, naturally when I see VIP I automatically assume it can also be applied to an account, since EVERYTHING ELSE can.
Quote:So, before you guys fire off on all cylinders about how much of an obvious dunce I must've been, know that this is not a simple case of not reading, it's a case of not having all the information readily available. I stand by my original assessment.
Quote:One, I can create any FREE account without needing to buy it or upgrade it. Your argument is invalid.
Quote:Two, as mentioned in my earlier post and above in THIS one, it took me directly to the payment screen and gave no such indications that it was for new accounts only. I assumed the "Starter Pack" crap came with either badges or emotes as has been the trend in similar games and previous packs.
Quote:I get that everyone wants to jump on the "flog the ranting idiot" bandwagon, but at least be constructive here. You'd be less than happy if you had paid for one thing which turned out to be another. If nothing else, im entitled to be pissed off it's taking them so long for a simply reply. Even if it is just to say "Sorry, there's nothing we can do.". That, at least, would be some form of conclusion to this matter.
If you get off your high horse and recognize YOU were the one who made the mistake, and then POLITELY ask ncsoft for a refund, you may get something. IF you keep your entitled brat attitude, I sure hope then dont refund anything
Bring us that "proof" that you can buy that pack withouth being notified that it wont work on an non-free account, and ill apologize and say that you were right. -

Some changes, other that fixing the AI
- Make "Defensive" mode work like "Assist" mode. Do not wait untill I (or my minions) are attacked: if I attack an enemy (and my pets are NOT already engaged in combat), just assit me (keeping bodyguard, ofc :P ). That irked me on my /Dark MM, sometimes I opened with Fearsome Store, feared the full spawn, and because there was no returning fire, my pets just stood there.
- Having the possibility of "merging" all 6 pets in one, quite stronger pet. Not as stronger as all 6 pets, ofc. Maybe an "Elite Boss" pet (which could trigger a 50/50 bodyguard, for example). This could help a lot in trials, tfs, clustered maps... Of course, this would need a lot of balancing and testing, so not gonna happen -
Nevermind the necro, I got a laugh reading this thread (and some other from the same OP )
-
Quote:So, you screw up, and somehow is NCSoft to blame?Great, so now I've got a useless paid-for account. Why they can't simply apply the status to the account is beyond me. It's not as if there's something physically stopping them. They simply use up the serial code and apply VIP to an account, it's not rocket science.
This, in my mind at least, is tantamount to theft since if you click on the "Buy Now" it doesn't give you the info that "it cannot be applied" it just takes you straight to the sales screen. And besides which, the serial code is displayed whenever I try to apply a serial code to the existing account.
Still, nice to see their customer support is so supportive of PAYING customers. I guess the P in VIP stands for Payment instead. As long as they get paid, who cares about the customer, right? -
Ive been testing this build in te beta server, trying the new DA arcs.
Some stuff: I decided to put 5x positron blast + cloud senses proc on both TT and nightfall. Seems to work nice
I was using the exploiters HOs. Fixed that on my build
I remember Life Drain sucked hard when I played this char 7 years ago. Now it rocks!
Ive done a 3-4 mishes at 0/x8, with bosses. Seems powerful and safe, and damage is quite bigger that I recalled. Still, being mezzed is a real PITA. Hope to fix that with clarion
I didnt use Dark Blast once. Life Drain (for both procs, build up/chance to +end) + TT + NF on groups, and for the leftover bosses LF+Gloom+ TT/NF, once each cycle, to keep the inmob rolling.
At the end of the first mishion I realized that I didnt summon fluffy :P
End seems quite under control even spamming aoes, with DN on, and everything. I think the end proc in life drain is working quite nice. Used Dark Consuption once, but could have passed without it
Died a few times, always because of a mezz, but that was expected in a char that didnt play in years :P
Still, any suggestion on the build will be welcome
Once I get this on live I may try purpling it out and getting the pvp +3def. Time will say
This was the final build:

Depends on your primary. Either the single target buff, or the hold.
-
Quote:Not really, I was really thinking it could be useful :PDid you slip this in just to see if we were paying attention?
Quote:The few things dark miasma can't debuff into oblivion aren't going to be affected by a bit of random knockback. You'd probably be better served by more range or more recharge here.
Unfortunately, Positron's Blast fails at both range and recharge, so if you want the 5 piece bonus, you're going to be weak on at least one of the two. Enfeebled Operation:Immob/Range would be my choice for the sixth slot, but Gravitational Anchor:Immob/Rech or Gravitational Anchor:Immob/Rech/Acc will also do nicely if you prefer more recharge.
Alternatively, you could abandon set bonuses on this power, and frankenslot to cover all the bases. Having a well slotted TT could very well be worth losing one recharge set bonus.
Thanks for this
EDIT: Added the data chunk, seems I forgot to include it :P
About TT, maybe a range IO, or another damage proc. Or maybe Ill just remove the slot and change something else, with that one I will have 2 free slots -
I've been thinking of undusting my Dark/Dark/Dark Defender (my first character, my first 50), while I wait for a Dark/Dark troller.
I havent played it in years. Many years. I remember it was a beast with -tohit, making soloing absurdly easy (on the old Invincible setting), but slow with the lack of damage. Hope the vigilance changes and a good IOing may fix the damage part (and musculature, too)
What do you think of this? Hasten is not quite perma, but I guess I can live with it :P Nor is softcapped, but hopefully the short recharge on FS and TT will take care of unexpected adds
End consumption (the other killer thing I remember) seems quite in control, with netting almost 2 end/s with darkest night on (Dark Embrace is not being used, is just a mule). I even have a free slot and not sure where to place it.
Any suggestions? Anything I missed? As I said, I havent played this char since I7
Thanks!

You dont have to pay attention to any extra info. Just learn what a power does, and use it along. My girlfriend, after 4 years playing lotro, still doesnt know the names of her minstrels heals, she calls them "The quick heal, the big heal, the aoe heal". And that works. And that will also work here. Do not worry about numbers and stuff if you dont want to
-
Dont pay attention to those saying its useless at higher levels. There is a WHOLE game outside iTrials and 20+billionbuildguys. I always love a FF in my group, no matter what character im using. Be it for the def, for the mezz prot, for the -end draing, I always have use for it. Even if im softcapped
-
Its only exclusive with powers that grant invis (Invisibility, Superios Invis), or powers that grant stealth (Hide, Shadowfall, arctic fog...). And is only exclusive if you are the caster of both powers. You can have your own Stealth along with other people shadowfall or even grant invis/group invis
EDIT: Ok, now im not sure if it stacks with Hide or is exclusive :S -
