Could I get it back? I can, like, send you your recipe back...

Goodbye. Not to the game, but the players. Goodbye. Everyone, remember to have fun. That's all I can say.

The development team and this community deserved better than this from NC Soft. Best wishes on your search.

Ouch, man.

Well, someday you'll look back at this and laugh....

Ouch, that hurts

One of the best advices I read on this forum:

"Write fast, click slow"

OTOH, look at the bright side: You made someone happy!

I can explain that.
I wanted to get my INF to a round number. 240 million, ex buying it for 2,327,163. In a sleep deprived state, I guess I miscounted digits, or didn't see something, with my sleep-addled brain.
See, kids. The market is only for when you're wide awake.

Okay, I just logged back in to an email with 400 million in it.
I honestley felt bad for claiming the email, then realized the sender wouldn't have sent it if he didn't want to, then shut myself up by compromising with my conscience and sending him 200 million back.

Kudos to the mystery benefactor. And they say the marketers have no soul.

Level for that recipe doesnt matter, does it? The lower, the sooner you can slot it anyway :P

I once paid a billion inf for a piece of rare salvage. True story.

I have a bad habit of selling purple recipes to the vendor.

Tell that to the people that always pay more for the top level recipe.

I don't think that's it. Sometimes only the level 50 is available, and in those cases naturally it's your only option for the Buy it NAO crowd. But a lot of people don't want to see a level 47 IO when they could have a level 50 IO.

I've made a nice career on one marketeer buying a certain recipe in the 30-33 range, crafting, and selling for a massive markup, and they always sell because there's so few available at any one time. (There are never any recipes available for longer than it takes to post them -- there are always outstanding bids ready to claim them. Not just the levels I buy, but all levels pretty much.) That's buy it NAO at less than top level. ^_^ Even so, I can't sell for as much as the top level goes for. Perceived superiority comes at a premium, you know that.

For some people, it's a matter of aesthetics and/or OCD.

I only slot level 25 sets (except purples and sets that start at 30), and all my "special" IOs are at minimum level, even if they don't get added to the build until level 50. The build isn't finished, in my mind, until it's tidy. I've even once used a respec because I slotted a power with LotG: D/E, LotG: Def, LotG: D/E/R, LotG: +Rech instead of LotG: D/E, LotG: D/E/R, LotG: Def, LotG: +Rech.

I'm so adamant on the use of the level 10 IOs, that whenever I get a character to level 10, I level lock them and farm AE for tickets and make bronze rolls until I get all the Karma -KB, Steadfast -KB, Steadfast Res/Def, Kismet +ToHit and Regenerative Tissue +Regen recipes that I need. On the plus side, I usually end up with several doubles before I get all that I need, so I either have a stockpile in my base, or several million for a starting fund.

I do miss lowbie ambush farming; it made it much easier to maintain my supply.

I usually go +rech>def>def/end

and im not too fussed about lvl 10 uniques etc since i dont plan on playing my toons at that level more than twice if poss (posi's/synapse)
