I have full slots on all servers on my main account and have purchased several more for Virtue and Freedom

Wrong. I have used the same card for several accounts. But I think the same card can not be used for more than two purchases a day, or someting like that.

When I had two cards and five accounts, I managed to pay for all of them, although not all on the same day

I did not understand the thing about the master account before the last one, though, so I have four master accounts. Maybe if they were all under the same master account, it would work on the same day
  3. OK, my Archery/MM blaster is lvl 42 and I really want to use him as a farmer. I have endless amounts of influence, so no expenses spared.

Anyone got a good farming build and suggestions of suitable maps to farm?
  4. Normally all the items in a base can be redeemed and the total sum of prestige is never depleted, but what happens if I upgrade the plot size?

Say I have spent 1.5 mill on the plot and then want to upgrade to the biggest plot (7 mill) - how much do I pay?

    Do I pay 7 mill?
    Or do I pay 5.5 mill (7-1.5) ?

    Yo!

There is way too little DOOOM in this thread :-)
  6. In terms of # of players online, I would think Infinity is #3 and Justice #4. But which servers is #5?

    If Freedom is 100
    Virtue is about 65-70
    Infinity 15
    Justice 13

    Roughly approximated
  7. I estimate 85% heroes and 15% villains and that the situation is almost the same on all servers

Price it at 2 billion (hard to price anything more expensive than that given that it is the inf cap) and I would still buy that. For inf. Good idea!

This. You could make it horrendously expensive and I think it would still work. Very good inf sink, even if horribly overpriced.

In-game gambling would be incredible, as well.
  10. All my fire/kins are working normally (one per server)

The mines my level 2 human killed kobolds in was exactly the same as the mine that my level 3 undead killed spiders in, despite being on the other side of the world..

More maps would indeed be great
  12. [quote=Satanic_Hamster;2307640]No real reason to kick people, imho. They could always come back. You might stop playing yourself and they might have the opportunity to keep using the SG as well.
(assuming you don't need the space)

I agree with this, even if I have seen new members react negatively to existing members who have been inactive for a long time
  13. The base is yours now. You are the leader. Let noone else tell you different.

It is a mortal sin of SG leaders not to log in for 45 days. If I would ever be away from any of my SGs for 45 days I would take steps to insure that I could be returned to leadership after that.

Just neglecting your SG for 45 days or more is the sure sign of a bad leader.
  14. If servers were ever merged, I would expect enormous problems with players that have filled their character slots (even purchased extra slots, how do you handle a player with 32 toons on both the servers? Do they magically get 64 slots? But 32 is the max) and SGs/VGs

Even the low-traffic servers have great communities that would be severely distrupted by a server merge. If you have a 5 yr old SG names "Heroes of Liberty" with millions and millions of prestige, how would they take to Liberty being merged with, say, Pinnacle?
  15. I am Swedish and luckily I was smart enough to do some research before I signed up for City of Heroes. So I realized that buying the EU version would be immensly stupid and that all the players were on the US version, so I was never confronted with the EU game problems. Which is good, because I would surely have moved to the US servers or quit long ago
  16. I still think they should have gambling and poker in Pocket D and other appropriate places. Let the rake be the money sink!

I would love to play poker with my influence
  17. This happens to me quite often, maybe 2-3 times per week in 5-20 hours of play

Same here, although I used to be 50+ hours before I got my current job :-)
  19. I IO out my toons from lvl 7 on (during the AE madness, I did not enhance some toons before they hit lvl 47). I always do this by playing a lot of alts and leaving each alt sitting with minimum bids for the IOs they need. WHen I come back 2-3 weeks later, they have always bought the IOs they need. I do this until lvl 32 or 47 when I do buy sets for the toon.

If you can wait 2-3 weeks for your IOs, they are always A LOT cheaper than SOs or DOs. And I never have to have them run out for me... or do stupid store mishes and things like that

An added bonus is that the toon always have fresh patrol XP when I come back (actually that's my rule, I do not come back to a toon until they have filled their patrol xp bars)
  20. So the oldest confirmed player posting here is 67 and we have rumours of 70+ players ?

    The Big Zig

Obviously a moat monster is needed as extra security as the prison has apparent problems with escaping inmates
  22. I don“t farm in RL, I just play the market

Good, this will make me play less at work :-) (on CET)

uh? I have found as many PUGs after I16 as I used to find before I14, but I had a very hard time finding them during the reign of the AE farms.

Now they are easy to find on the high population servers, on Infinity I could almost never find any PUGs, except low-level blue side
