Multiple Accounts

I purchased a code from ncsoft and they took the money out already, but when i try to log into the game, it says the paid time has expired. So, i go to the master account and try to activate the account but it say unable to due to the card being used on too many accounts. WTF? I have 2 accounts and i want a 3rd. I use a bank account and this is the only card i have to use so i can't use a diff card but that's what its telling me to do. Any ideas?

Try contacting customer support and asking them. It could be that the system is set to automatically reject a card being used on more than 2 accounts (as a defense against gold farmers) but if you talk to a service rep they can manually set it up.

sent an email to support and waiting for a response. Just curious if anyone else had an issue with it.

I think Rajani has it right -- 6 accounts, but are they all under the same MASTER account? Or separate master accounts?

Wrong. I have used the same card for several accounts. But I think the same card can not be used for more than two purchases a day, or someting like that.

When I had two cards and five accounts, I managed to pay for all of them, although not all on the same day

I did not understand the thing about the master account before the last one, though, so I have four master accounts. Maybe if they were all under the same master account, it would work on the same day

I'm not sure what's goin on?? It took forever to get a reply. I have 2 accounts, not sure how you can tell what a master account is, and i paid for my cousins once. Well, i got an email telling me that you can only have 3 master accounts at one time. Since i paid for my cousins one month, that's counting it for my 3rd account, even though it's not recurring.

This is the only one ive purchased online, but was going to pay for the 3 out of the same bank account but i've only got 1 bank card. How do they expect me to have more than 1 bank card? I have already purchased it and they have already taken the 20 bux out of my bank, but can't activate it. (GRRRR FRUSTRATED)

A Master account is your plaync account name and password. This is/(should be) different than your game username and password. Your game account is listed within your Master PlayNC account info.

Did you log into (one of) your Master Accounts and "Add Serial Code", or did you create a whole new PlayNC account as well?

Until you get things straightened out, is it a possibility for you to buy one of those VISA gift cards and use that for payment instead for the new account?

I created a new account, Master Blade. Guess i could jus use paypal, but i don't see what diff it makes as to how many i can have if i can afford it. It's not like i'm tryin to create several new accounts at once like i just stole a bank card, ya know. lol. I've been here since 2004, same account and all.

You should have just logged into one of your existing PlayNC accounts and bought the retail copy from the online store, and then clicked on "Use a Serial Code" from your Account screen. It would then ask you if you want to upgrade one of your existing accounts (if available), or to use that code to create a new game account (<---). Then the same billing information would be used for each game account under that same PlayNC account without an issue.

You know that, and we are pretty sure about it too, but the automatic policy is in place because OTHER people might abuse it.

When you log in to a master account, it looks like this :



If you have to log in two different times to the plaync page and there's only one account on each, then you have two master accounts.

I suggest talking to support about the possibility of combining the accounts under one master. Not saying it'll fly, but it's worth a shot.

For other folks wanting to get a second (or more) accounts, make sure you choose the "use a serial code" option.

Thanks for the info, Master. If i had known AHEAD of time, i would certainly have went that route. I didn't know i could add a code to my account, to create a new one. I figured that i needed a new deal each time, and had no idea only 3 was the limit. Not to mention that they are counting the month i paid for my cousin as a Master Account usage with all the info in his name and i only clicked on 1 time usage.

I'm trying to deal with support but its taking them 5 hours to reply. I need a w/e number to call. lol.

The few times I've needed to call these folks, they've been excellent. They even helped get two wrongfully banned accounts activated again.

ok, i got the code to just add it to my master account. now, how to go about doin that? do i click on the use a serial code option and follow directions?

Yes, but if you are trying to use the same key that you used to create the trial on your newest PlayNC account, it might tell you the code is already in use when you try to re-use it on your existing.
