    Down Time??

This is the thing that keeps me away from the forums. People just love to pad their post count by being sarcastic & negative at everyones post. Why even bother responding to this post if all you can say is quit whining? It was a legitimate question.
  3. My arc "Everybody Was Kung Fu Fighting" #2517 was reported about a week after ish14. No explanation from the person who did. I have had that complaint button on there ever since. Never heard anything from dev's and I've never inquired about it. Plus no other complaints since. I just figure oh well whatever.
  4. I may have to try this myself. I have been the same. I hate the look of the forms. Never got a PB or WS up because of the same reasons. All human PB sounds cool.

That's just a few. Why do those heroes have them? Simple. That's where they plan out their business. It's where they gather to discuss matters of importance for the group. Their bases are where they store their stuff until its needed. Its where they come up with new stuff.

Those are all viable deals that exist within the framework of the game for bases, things that you don't seem to realize they do.

It's part of the superhero genre and has been for decades.

Yes this is true. But how many stories in comics has the heroes been attacked in their base by their arch-enemies? Bases are often a focus of the stories. There should absolutely be more. I am so tired of joining sg's just to make prestige for the leader to do nothing but play base designer all the time. That's why I have a sg of my own for all my alts. This is an old concern brought up many times. But should still be addressed.
  6. I figure I was griefed. Someone complained about my Kung Fu arc #2517. Shortly after I published it I saw the complaint button. When I click to see what the complaint is there is nothing. No feedback as to why my arc is offensive. When I tell people this who have played it they all say WHAT??? Now I figure I was either griefed or someone is really sensitive. Either way it is no big deal. For all I know they hit it by accident.
  7. I did'nt see my tell on here. But I have to say so far, this is my personal favorite arc. Just love the whole concept. Very fun. Once again GOOD JOB!!!!!!!!
  8. Like this idea alot. The search we have right now is not to my liking at all. Too many arcs are just being hidden. A select random arc button would be cool also.
  9. Everyone has been on that aggravating sewer team of noobs right? Well now you have to save those lovable stereotypes in "The Great Sewer Rescue".

    ARC #102898
    MORALITY: HEROIC
    LENGTH: SHORT

Be sure to leave your arc# and I will return the favor. Please be patient if your arc is long.
  10. I too have a child that has been playing since he was 4. He only plays now every so often. But has learned stuff from the game. Certain words and things like lol. I guess the main thing is he wanted to play so bad that he actually is able to figure things out on his own. Which amazes me. I think he learned the basics of the game faster than I did when I first started playing lol.
  11. Ok I play alot of short arcs. Maybe even 80%. Although lately I have been trying to do more longer ones that are advertised on MA arc finder channel. The thing is I want to do as many different arcs as I can. Play alot of peoples arcs. If I play a long arc I will only get to play 1 or 2 peoples arc in a play session. With so many arcs to choose from, it's hard for these long arcs to get alot of play. Afterall which ones do you choose? And if you have a team good luck keeping all members to stay for the whole long arc. I wonder how many people (and I'm not referring to you the_alt_holic) complain about not getting their long arc played, but they themselves are not playing the long arcs very much?
  12. I don't lower rating for a few grammar mistakes. Afterall I'm no english major. Unless it is so bad that you would've have thought a 3rd grader wrote the arc. But I do comment on it. And that's because it is a good arc and that is such a simple thing to fix. I want to see that arc polished as much as possible and have a better chance to get dev's choice possibly.
  13. Love the title. And the poster is really cool. I'll have to try this arc.
  14. I've wanted this also. I suggested awhile back a window with moon, underwater, jungle, or city view scenery. Would really enhance the look of a base. Even if it was just basically a big wallhanging with the appearance it was a window would do for me.
  15. Ok I want in on this. I've already started playing some of the arcs. And have done Beef Cakes & Wrong Numbers b4.

    Mine is a short mish.
"Everybody Was Kung Fu Fighting" arc#2517

Based on the hit song from the 70s.
  16. Let's not forget that a bad rating is an opinion thats all. We all want a great rating to achieve hall of fame. But no matter what, not everyone is going to like your arc. And why should feedback be mandatory? I don't really care to give feedback. Why? Cause I am no expert. My feedback may not be all that great for you anyways. I might think the custom group was too easy but 10 other people may think they are too hard. Maybe I think your arc is boring for my own personal taste. What are you going to do? Pester me with tells BUT WHY IS IT BORING? it just is for me. With all due respect. Is'nt your skin thick enough to handle people who don't give feedback? Your assuming everyone doing your arc is an expert critique with all the answers to make it better.
  17. I have been playing alot of MA arcs. And I hate to say I've seen so many missions in a cargo ship I start to roll my eyes now when I see it. It's just being overused thats all. I understand that it makes sense for your story. Even I started to make an arc and said man I need the 3rd mission on a ship. But I don't think it's that big of a deal as long as your arc is not a 1-mish cargo ship arc. Just try and be unique on the locations of your other missions.

You realize that's pretty much what a radio mission is, right? No real plot, maybe a few lines of dialogue, and a mission filled with enemies. In fact, probably about 2/3rds of the missions in CoX are that way.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I've been saying this for awhile also. Yes it might not be door sitting complete out power leveling. But radio missions is absolutely a way to farm the game. Yes you are active in these versus just sitting back and raking in xp. But to me your just seeing how fast you can get to 50. Just like farming. Radio missions ruined this game. All pugs want to do is defeat Archon Leery over & over. No one does contacts anymore. I find myself soloing to do the content that gets overlooked anymore. And this is why I welcome Mission Architect with open arms. As for farming on MA, there will always be some sort of farming, it's just devs will make it as hard as possible. Also what about the badge farms? I've seen some pulled already.
