So i have this mission with some Praetorian in it. There is no custom mob at all and here what i got:

[ QUOTE ]
This story has received the following complaints: * Mission makes use of 'children' versions of popular heros such as Batman, Spiderman, Invisible woman, and Wolverine. The names resemble the grown version of the hero as do the costumes. Only difference is size, even powers have been matched.

[/ QUOTE ]

Dunno who reported me, but that guy is pretty ignorant or something. Those are Praetorian. They are mob from the game!!

Anyways, I've been reported few days/weeks ago, i was careless, and lought big time. In fact the only trace about this, is the complains button on my story, from the search window.

But now im a bit concerned, seems GM's did no follow up on this. Either this is such a big joke that they dont waste time in it. Or worst, they dont do anything about Story arcs, that are reported !?!?! OK ok , prolly not ,since ive seen some post about ppl saying they got there story slot locked.

I'm wondering a lot cause I just went on the search, tried to find some missions, and it don't take an idiot to figure out which missions is a farm and which is not.

My first tought Is, If they are serious about removing farm missions, Why no hiring a student for the summer. I admit 200 000 ID's already is a lot, but common, take any search result and you see farm here and there.

So what is appenning here? they wait for us to report arcs ?
I dont want to point finger, but something is not working here for sure.

If you have constructive comment ...

/auto ignore any replies from pro farmers, flame all you want, I'm not reading

I think he's complaining cause someone reported his arc?

I think the GM's only follow up if you protest; silence is assumed to be an admission of guilt.

I assume you received an email (not in-game, real email) and the correct thing to do is reply to that email explaining to THEM what you just explained to US.

We, on these forums, are players. Maybe on a good day a mod will look at this post. But the forum mods are not the game GM's.

So you think you're a hero, huh.

As things stand now, it seems the system auto-locks the arc once a certain number of complaints are received (the number is unknown, but it's not 1, so since you only have 1, you've got nothing to worry about), and only once the creator protests the auto-lock does customer service get involved.

Maybe they just haven't gotten around to reviewing it yet.

Lots of people are commenting on seemingly obvious farms that don't appear to be getting any response.

You could try sending in a petition, asking for an accelerated review. I don't know if it'll do any good, but it shouldn't do any harm.

I've heard of incidents where reporting story arc A actually flags arc B. I have to wonder if that's what happened here.

They were scared down in their holes

Was colored black by those killing machines

[/ QUOTE ]Even that "auto-lock" is supposed to be only until it is reviewed.

Maybe the protest just gets them moved to the front of the queue.

Negative. Trust me, I've had this happen. The GMs will literally not look at the content of your arc unless it's been locked and you've either prodded CS about it or you flag your arc for review. They will do nothing at all if left on their own.

How many complaints does it take to get locked, or looked at by GMs? My Dev Choice arc has 8 or 9 complaints now (most of them aren't real complaints... the "complainer" didn't fill in any details so it's just the default text in the complaint box, and the others are about as laughable as the ones the OP says he got) but to my knowledge it hasn't been locked or anything.

I wonder if DC arcs are exempt from that process, anyway...

Would not surprise me that DC is exempt. Pointless to have a CS review it if a FREAKING DEV has looked at it and said it's a-okay.

Anyone petitioning a Dev's Choice arc is a moron.

Heh, it's the only arc of mine that's been reported, even though I fully expected two of my other three to have some complaints. (Not that I would agree with them, but at least I could imagine why someone might feel the need...)

Unknown. The number was not disclosed to me.

They're not. I was told they're supposed to be, but aren't for unknown reasons. Take this one with a grain of salt though, as the devs may have done something about that in the meantime.

In my personal experience? A day and four, respectively. In the experience of a friend who got an arc banned as well? Three weeks and two days, also respectively. And just in case you're wondering, in those 3 weeks my friend received no communication whatsoever from CS. It was not until he flagged his arc for review that a reply from them came.

My Dev Choice arc also has a number of complaints. The only one that actually lists a complaint is someone bemoaning that the arc did not drop any tickets.

Seriously.

My arc "Everybody Was Kung Fu Fighting" #2517 was reported about a week after ish14. No explanation from the person who did. I have had that complaint button on there ever since. Never heard anything from dev's and I've never inquired about it. Plus no other complaints since. I just figure oh well whatever.
