I studied English as a foreign language. I never had the luxury of "not knowing" what a word means, because if I didn't know what a word meant, I didn't use it. And if I used a word and someone told me I was using it wrong, I picked up a dictionary and looked it up.
"Language evolves" is not an excuse I've ever been willing to accept when the bulk of the times it's been used has been as an excuse for practical ignorance.
Specifically, peruse means to go over something with great effort. You peruse a book you want to know by heart. -
Also, nice little tip. Don't let people bring Rebirth...a single one can take hami from 2% back to 100 on regen :/

I did. I am (was) trying to do the arc through ouro after all that. I've completed ALL of the VEAT arcs, which means he won't introduce me to operative Kuzmin.
I just got a friend to start the arc for me through ouro. -
So far, it seems like I am not going to be able to do the new arcs in Mercy in Mercy.
I try to ouro Operative Kuzmin's arc, and it tells me to talk to Alan desslock, my first VEAT contact and the arcs (Excluding Dr. Graves' arc, which was awesome) are all dependent on doing that one first. -
Welcome! Always nice to have some new blood. My personal tip? Task forces. They're a great way to meet new people. The Death from below trial is the same

I'm glad some people agree with me.
It's not that massive a deal. I wouldn't have bought the bundle if I knew I wouldn't get the auras, but what am I gonna do, demand a refund? -
I went into the store to buy the Cyborg pack. As everyone knows, it doesn't say what exactly is part of the bundle, so I assumed it was the same as the Super boooster, excluding the powers.
I was wrong.
Turns out, after buying the cyborg bundle for 400 points, turns out I don't get the auras with it! What the crap?
Am I wrong? I this a bug, or bait and switch? -
Well, looking back through the forum, turns out people have been being granted the badge for the bug before, but in any case, I just completed it again (Finally got the badge) so yay!
And I had been using a targetting macro the entire time

Well, the test server updated with CoH freedom, but it's not letting me in, citing database issues...

GM response was that "You didn't get the badge, so you didn't complete the conditions"
They also said that if you talk to an injured PPD officer more than once it screws up the counter. /rage
I am a bit frustrated with the mission, but imma do this til I get the badge -
well, I petitioned, not that I think it'll do much good :/
It's happened to me twice now, and the wiki says that if I get all the ppd out the mish should complete. -

I completed the mission that it involves, I got every PPD out, it even was gone from my objective menu. Why didn't I get the badge, did I do something wrong? Should I report it?

edit: also, I used the Promethean badge as the condition because before you do that he's fighting you, but after, he gives up and serves you willingly. -

Bear with me. You kidnapped her and the Souvenir explicitly states you're keeping her in your lair. Why not make her something like a mini-mission computer that gives you something like paper mishes, or maybe have her tell you the WST as part of her training as a villain, or maybe just have her say witty things. Something! -

I know they retired them because of freedom coming, but I have friends who I want to join the game due to freedom (and are willing), but that 1.99 CoH sale ended, so I am kinda SoL
Do you think they should reinstate the trials (or the sale) until the game actually goes to freedom, or at least until they have a definitive date? -

that's quite true, and my lack of being softcapped has actually had me considering getting Nerve incarnate to get that massive def boost (t2 moves me like to 60% across the board), but doing that gives up my musculature...
Addendum: Of course, I am kinda considering just doubling up on maneuvers. -
Hi, everyone. Was hoping to get a critique of my build.
I am NOT experienced with this kinda thing, but was given some random suggestions (Like making sure to boost defense and recharge, to skip placate, and a few other things)
Come i21 I'll be dropping Super jump, and maybe Super speed, depending on what I want to do with travel powers. Any other suggestions?
(I have a bit over a billion to work with as my budget, plus anything I'd sell from changes here)

Addendum: I've never had trouble with this build, but it's hard to not want to be better.

I've had a lot of similar problems. People promoting me in the league, then having their window change but not mine, keeping me from having the powers. I've had my incarnate stuff disappear, had one bug that was really weird, locked me in a sit position and wouldn't let me move until someone teleported me (I would jump up and down in place).
All of these were in the early days of the BAF trial though, and always happened during escapee (except the league thing, which happened a few days ago) -
Yes, but you can turn astrals into threads for other characters. It'd be some...extreme grinding, but you could theoretically do it using more than one character
