  1. I like this idea a lot. However prices are set up, I think the system should encourage high-level players to purchase low-level recipes and IOs through the market. While this could be used as an inf-sink, it could work wonders stimulating the low-level recipe market.

I'm almost positive this bug was fixed a while back. On every STF I've been on in the past few months the repairmen get wiped out by AoEs before they fire off their heal.

    Bull crap.
    That was my thought.
  9. I had a lvl 50 SS/Elec, but even after the revamp I never got around to respeccing him, so I just deleted him. I was having more fun with my SS/WP anyway. The SS/WP is now 50, my main villain toon. He's not fully IO'd yet but he's getting close.
  10. For the longest time I was under the impression that the High Society Order had more to do with Mary Jane than Jane Austen. My mistake. I look forward to seeing the club.
  11. I heard some anecdotal evidence that the drop rate had been increased. Someone claimed he had killed 2 million enemies between Thursday (after 2XP had been activated) and Friday and claimed the drop rate was 1:2000.
  12. You're good so far. If you theoretically slotted one more set of Posi's Blast you would be at the max for that set bonus. If you added a Crushing Impact and a Red Fortune, you'd be at the max for the 5% rech bonus. It doesn't matter how many recharge bonuses you have so long as you have no more than 5 of each specific numerical bonus. 5 5%s, 5 6.25%s, 5 7.5%s (I think LotGs 7.5%s are a different bonus), etc.
  13. Gateway's P-series has some pretty good models. Among the more recent is the P-7908 FX. 17" 1440x900 screen, GeForce GTX 260M graphics card, Intel Dual-Core 2.53 Ghz, 4 gigs of RAM, 500Gb HDD, and a 9-cell lithium-ion battery.
  14. Oy vey. Voluntary hiatuses are one thing, but hardware failure sucks big time. Best of luck in getting things sorted out.

I17 is not Going Rogue therefore Going Rogue closed beta invite criteria don't apply. How many people need to spell this out for you?

Don't forget it also boosts the range of Teleport. Boost Range + TP = eat my dust, Super Speeders.
  17. The most bang for your buck (provided those characters are level 50) would be random recipe rolls in the 35-39 range. It's the best in terms of influence per merit.

I remember those days. I'd fly all over Talos to sell SOs at their proper origin store to get the most money possible. My most recent toon had over 200 million by the time he reached 22. What a difference an in-game economy makes.

I don't disagree with everyone's responses as rather good guesses, but some of the responses are just attempting to be rude. I can do without those. I'm content to wait for facts. Uh, "significant parts"? That's unfounded speculation. Ultra Mode was originally slated to be part of Going Rogue, but got bumped up by popular demand. It's entirely possible that there are other parts of Going Rogue which were bumped into I17, but that's still more speculation. Since absolutely nothing was mentioned by members of the development team or community relations as to whether or not loyalty/hero-con/vet status applied, then it seems pretty obvious that this closed beta test would function pretty much like every other one (I15 excluded, it didn't have a closed beta). Since you're asking for a developer quote on beta invites, here's the only one I've found.

I've read it several times and trust me, it doesn't imply that veterans or loyalty program members get guaranteed invites.
