  1. It's a proc, not a global bonus. You need it in something like Combat Jumping so it will always be active.
  2. I made a Water/Kin Corruptor, colored all the powers silvery white like mercury.

Then I named him "Quicksilver Mage".

    I think it's clever.
  3. This thread again? Heh.

Same response as last time, minus the stuff they already changed. Taunt in Dwarf Mire, buff essence drain to match Siphon Life, buff Pulsar mag, change IS to stun, have eclipse provide 0.5 points of status protection per target hit, and up the damage modifier a little for both ATs. Oh, and toggle suppression.
  4. You can avoid that by emptying your stacks, then using Tidal Forces.
  5. Well, I finally decided on a concept and powerset pairing. I was originally going to go with Water/Poison, then Water/Time, then Water/Storm...

I ended up with Water/Kinetics, and tinted everything a silvery white.

Would you guys believe I snagged the name "Quicksilver Mage" on Virtue?
  6. Don't you touch my base! Resorting raid functionality means at the very least removing the ability to block rooms with objects and stack things artistically. At that point, they'd likely rather redo the code and render current bases unusable. That's likely too much work to be worth the return. Also, ragequits galore.

All I want for bases is universal access (heroes in villain bases) and maybe a few more items.

I would not recommend this slotting. You shouldn't need that much accuracy and you likely want more recharge and end reduction.

With Rad the AoE on the toggle(s) usually covers everyone at 15', with Freezing Rain/Sleet the radius is 20' and the mobs are also flopping, Melt Armor matches Rad's 15' radius and Darkest Night/Anguishing Cry/Slowed Response are all 25'. It's much easier to catch everyone without having to aggro the mob in advance, even in the case of Pain's PBAoE if you have Superspeed and/or a stealth IO.
Eh, I just hit the boss or priority lt with debuffs, then the slow cone could nail everything to keep me safe. Minions didn't present enough threat to warrant multiple debuff applications.
  9. My bad, I thought Spin was seven feet, smaller than the rest. There's a reason I was specific.

I didn't find poison to be all that clicky. Lay down debuffs, then refresh thirty seconds later. The BR redraw didn't bother me.

  11. Well, the t9 being a toggle makes a huge difference in my mind. Again, stick with it. At least you get a self heal in your primary.
  12. Is this really asking for help or just complaining?

If you're asking for help, then I say stick with it. An right foot radius is larger than claws' spin attack. I took a Beam/Poison up to 50, though, and I've got no regrets. Poison's debuffs are huge, especially when you stack the t9. The control that Water provides should bee a nice compliment to it.

Actually, I may reroll the beam to water. It would fit his concept better. Thanks for the idea!
  13. You're better off with end reduction than a theft proc in a single target attack.

After that, I'd tell you to slot it like a healing attack. With frankenslotting, you can cap most of the power's attributes.

If they do, I haven't noticed it.

Ok, I'm lying. My PB has definitely plateaued and I feel he's sub par on the damage out side of the equation, but he has all the survivability in the world to make up for it, so I'm still happy.

My MFing WS, however, is a different story. Somehow he keeps all the survivability of the PB and heaps "I'm always at the damage cap" on top of it.

I think he's referring to the double server transfer you accumulate.
  16. Yes, thanks much for sharing.
  17. My experience with Poison has been before and after buffs. Once on an MM and once on a Beam/Poison corruptor.

One trick that the AoE debuffs allow you to accomplish is stacking them on a target. For example, hit your target with the debuff, then hit a target next to him. He'll have 150% of the debuff because the AoE is half strength.

I find the slow cone to be extremely useful for the -recharge.

Power Boost typically does not affect your debuffs, though, so I wouldn't recommend that.
  18. You really want to play the PM game?

Look, I know you're not going to stop hounding my posts trying to make me look bad, but I'm ok with that. If that's how you want to spend your time, fine. At least it's entertaining.

It should be spelled Dechs' when you use the possessive form of the noun. It's a funny thing with words that end in S that can be possessive. English is complicated, though, especially if it's your second language, which I'm never sure of these days. Samuel Tow, for instance, has near impeccable English, but is not a native speaker.

Either way, now you know. And you know what they say about that.

Thank you for stating the obvious.
  20. I'm all behind this, so long as I can use it on male and huge models. Maybe not the skirt.

Hey, we wanted inherent fitness. We can't complain that the NPC's can't keep up now.

Also, please don't type your name at the bottom of your post like that. This is the 21st century. We can see your name on the left, and you can create a signature that won't be automatically thrown into a quote when someone responds to you.
