  1. I've been looking at all the AT's that is able to get Nature. Done several builds in mid's but nothing has really stuck out to me. Haven't made the toon yet but I wanted to get some feedback on a build I made just to see what all needs reworked. Not 100% sure I'll go with this build yet, but it has got me a bit interested compared to others I've worked on. I don't know any thing about Nature haven't tried playing it in game or on beta so I just pretty much guessed on the slotting for it. Well, really I pretty much guessed on the slotting for the whole build since I don't know how Nature works and what to try to accomplish. Here's some things I went for, S/L/E defense and Rech. Although I do have a few fire/ trollers I haven't played them in some time so not sure how much has changed there either.

  2. Does anyone have a link they can share that tells about how all procs will work with I24? That is if there is one yet. If there isn't are they changing the way the numina, miracle and performance shifter procs work?

  3. Hi all, I'm wanting to make a dom but not sure what would do good. It'll be for solo and team play both. First I was really thinking about elec/psi, but from what I've read it seems to be a weaker combo. So now I'm thinking of plant/psi. Any thoughts on how a plant/psi will perform both team and solo play? Or maybe even a different combo all together. Also if a plant/psi would be a good choice should I aim for soft capped S/L/E defense, or maybe 1 small purple away, or not even worry about defense that much with plant?

  4. Right now I'm leveling up a stone/shield, he's currently level 41. I'm having fun playing the combo and I wanted stone melee but be able to do damage so I went with brute. Sure it lacks in the AoE department but so far he seems to hit hard and helps keeping team members alive. Here's kinda how I kinda try to play him when teamed. Find the hardest target in the group and go after him, keep an eye on team mates that are in melee and caught up in a big group (espically maps that doesn't give squishy's an option to stay at range). With focusing on the hard target with my single attacks that leaves Tremor, Fault, and Shield Charge ready to use on a group when a team member gets in over his/her head for some reason. With the enemies flopping that buy's my allies a chance to recovery or perhaps get out of harms way. I will say though the combo can be hard on the endurance bar if you get to "smashy". I also had a concept in mind, one that I used for a ranged toon that I liked and wanted to roll with a melee set aswell, and that seemed to fit the concept I was aiming for the best.
  5. For something uncommon I went with a stone/shield. Right now he's around level 40 and using so's. So he's a bit hard on the blue bar but he's been fun so far. He does pretty good ST damage. On teams I can focus on the hard targets while using shield charge, tremor and fault to try and keep the other enemies flopping. I've got nice defense and ok resistance and with the baddies flopping most of the time my team mates isn't in much trouble. Went with this combo for a concept build and also because I can't remember the last time I seen a stone melee brute running about.
  6. I haven't got started on my toon yet, first I wanted to try to put together a build for him to see how it looks. I can get melee soft capped using divine avalanche, but as far as ranged and AoE well I'm not even close. I didn't even get them to be within 1 luck away from soft capping. Been really sick last few days so haven't got to try much, maybe there's something I'm overlooking since I'm not thinking to clearly atm. From what I've got put together so far melee is soft capped, ranged is at 26% and AoE 19%. When you said can softcap M and get ranged and AoE 35-36% was that including katana? If not then which set is it that can get me that close? Or should I go for S/L/E instead?

  7. (typing this from my phone, sometimes it doesn't come out exactly right)

    I'm considering kat or staff atm, I like the faster pace attacking. Staff offers some nice bonuses with the combat ability but will the ST DPS be as good as kat? I've got a couple staff toons but no kat toon so maybe I should give it a try. The idea of using the primary to help defense us a nice plus could allow for more slotting on other things. For kat what powers do I need for the first let's say 10 levels to get him started? Also what app do I need to go bill side or for kat a hero side app? If you have any helpful info to get me started I'll post a build after I've gotten him mid 30s or so to get advice on something I've missed.

  8. Checked out your sig, after reading it I think I'll give another regen brute a try. The one I posted here is on my secondary account so now I'm wanting to make one on my primary account to incarnate. Only problem is I don't know what to pair it with, any suggestions?
    Here's what I'm looking for/would like to be able to do EVERYTHING (doesn't everyone)!

    Survivabilty, good syngery, able to pump out lots of damage, of course lots of recharge. Since I'm needing lots of recharge, I think a power that does some high ST DPS would be nice to have. Rather or not it'll be the best overall for what I would like, well i'm not sure. A primary that does knock down would help me survive seeing if they're not standing they're not attacking.

    Here's some choices I'm considering:
    Dark
    Stone
    Kinetic
    Street

    Also ones that I kinda like or think I would, just not sure if they would help as much is:
    Fiery
    Energy (I've always liked energy but not sure if it stacks up to the others anymore)

    Any suggestions on what I'm considering or maybe some that I didn't mention?
    Tried to stay away from weapon sets for redraw, but maybe with that much regen it isn't as big of an issue???

    Or should I consider rolling another SS brute? Unfortunally I've gotten several SS toons now as it is.

  9. I've got a regen/ss brute on my other account that I've just hit 50 and slotted out. He's having some endurance issues and I'm afraid I might have gimped my build for what I wanted.

    As of now, I'm not wanting to take Incarnate powers into account for this build. As stated above, this character is on my other account and I'm thinking of making it a F2P account. I've almost got all of my Tier 8 done, and if I understand correctly as long as your Tier 7 then your still able to slot and use enhancements/bonuses.

    What I was trying to achieve in the build is softcap to S/L defense. Also was wanting to deal some good damage with decent recharge.

    I don't run tactics, it's just used as a mule. I was also trying to keep the cost down as much as possible since it isn't a toon on my main account.

  10. Hi, I'm trying to help a friend come up with a build for a TW/Fire brute. Main focus is on survivablity. I haven't leveled a TW toon up very far so looking for some advice that others may have on the combo. The toon will be used for running missions of all sorts, if it's able to farm some that would be great aswell. Here's what I've gotten so far.     Staff 'n stuff

    I'm wanting to make 3 staff toons, play them all up a bit to see which I like the best to determine which one I take to 50 first.

    Tank Elec/Staff
    Brute Staff/Fire
    Scrapper Staff/Invul.

    Not sure about making a stalker yet, if I enjoy them as much as I hope I do after the long wait, then maybe try something out on stalker aswell.
  12. A few other things I've noticed that I might could point out and also ask about. I've got tactics in the build, but it's just acting as a mule I'm not going to be running it (incase anyone is turning it on to affect the end use).

    Also on Hot Feet I slotted so I could get the defense to Psi., but after looking at it again my end reduce SUCKS on it so probably would be more helpful if I forgot about the psi def. bonus and went for more end reduction. Does that sound like a better choice? I'll still have around 40ish% psi def. and some -tohit to help out aswell.

    Soul Absorption recharges just under 32sec and last for 30. Power Sink also recharges just under 32sec. Does that seem like it will help me or make much of a difference in any way?

    I made this build before I played the toon (and actually forgot about the build got distracted with something else). Now he's lvl 41 so I'm pulling this rough draft build back out and looking over things better after having some play time on the toon. So any info. anyone may have with more experience and/or one already IO'ed out would be appreciated.

    Edit: Good point Ketch thanks. Twilight Grasp should provide enough healing, it offers a high heal with quick recharge (didn't look at the % on it til read your post). Plus taking the defense and -tohit into account I hope I won't have to depend on my healing and regen a whole lot.

  13. With what I've seen posted how fade was changed and the numbers given I used those to modify mids to show my stats with those numbers. So if those are the right numbers and I haven't screwed something up when I modified mids (which is a good possibility) then Fade is perma. It's recharge is 58.98 sec. with a 60 sec. duration. Unless I've overlooked something or missed something how fade works then it should be perma. If it gives less defense as it's wearing off then I did not know that and didn't take that into account. Unfortunally when I was working on the build I was trying to focus on to many things and didn't notice the endurance until after I done posted the build. So I'm sure I"ll have some problems there but maybe once I get SA where it needs to be I'll be fine (I hope, but doubtful). Forgot I had posted it and haven't been on for a while, was looking for something else and came across this lol.
  14. I tried to post a build earlier and for some reason I managed to post it while it was in it's working on stage. Unfortunally I saved over top of the "correct build" so I tried to modify mid's again and put everything in that was suppose to be done. So let's start it off kinda the same way as last post.

    I modified mids to show the changes that were made to the powers in /Dark and came up with this build afterwards.

    Here's some of the highlights of the build-------
    The build is sofcapped to S/L/F/C/E/N and only .4 away from softcapped Psi
    S/L resistance is capped at 75%, Energy is at 66.4%
    Perma Powers:
    Hasten
    Mu Guardian
    Flashfire
    Soul Absorption is 1.77 away from being perma

    All my totals is with having Agility Partial Core Revamp as my alpha and with having Clarion Core Ephinany as my Destiny.

    It is a very tight build that could use some more slots. I had gotten very sleepy while working on it so there's a good chance I overlooked something big or screwed something up in a bad way.

    Here's the build let me know what could be done to make it better or just any thoughts or ideas on things I could try.

  15. Just noticed after having 40 views that it didn't copy the modified build over, or what I'm thinking happened I ported the wrong build. Which in this case is a very bad thing. In the build that I've got posted it hasn't been modified which took a while to do. Worse thing is that I saved the wrong build over top of the correct build so now I'm going to have to do it all over again, which SUCKS!!!

    Sorry to all of those that have looked at the build and it wasn't what it was suppose to be. When I get the correct build done again I will post it and we'll see what needs help on.

  19. I've got tactics and the kismet proc already in the build. Is my accuracy to low even having those? Also what should the acc of my attacks be in order to hit most of the time? I've got the build put together but I haven't used boosters on my enhan that needs it yet. Can someone tell me if I boost them after slotting or was I suppose to before hand. Thanks!
  20. So if I put the other 33%proc and add the ATO proc to AS, then what should I use the last slot in thunderstirke for? Should I reslot it all together or put a proc in the empty spot? Also does anyone know what the new HP cap will be for stalkers so I know what to work towards on that part? I know it's in the forums but my time on here is limited right now so if anyone knows right off that would be great. Almost forgot, what should I put in invis. a regular end reduce IO for now (maybe later on a LotG +rech)?

  21. I had posted a build a while back and hadn't been able to play as I was hoping to. So now with I22 getting closer to coming out and I'm closing in on level 50 finally with my stalker I was hoping to get some new advice. I'm not wanting to spend a lot on this toon not knowing how much I'll play him or even if I'll enjoy him in PvP. I've got a rough build put together, which appears it will probably cost more then I'm wanting to spend. I've seen where people has said it doesn't take much to make a stalker decent in PvP so if I'm able to cut back on price some that would be great. Kinda going against what I had just said a bit, if a certain enhancement will make a BIG difference but it's a bit higher then others then I'm willing to consider it or can add it later. I had left an empty slot on thunderstirke thinking of using the ATO chance for hide there. Also what are the best incarnate powers to use on a stalker? Trying to type this in a hurry as I'm needing to get to work, so forgive me if I'm wording this badly. Here's the build, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

  22. I'm trying to put together a build for my earth/ta/mace controller and not sure what how I should slot my powers and what to go for. So far I've got S/L/E to soft capped and getting close to perma hasten. I'm going to include what I've gotten done so far with mids and hope for some feedback. I haven't used all my slots up yet as to I'm not sure where to put them in the powers I have left. Any information on finishing out my build would be greatly appreciated. Also if I have something slotted in a way that it isn't going to help much please point that out aswell. It's just a throw together build what I've gotten so far, so I'm willing to make any changes that needs to be done. The build might appear to be going in to many directions if so I'm open for help towards the right direction.   23. Just wondering how set bonuses works for premium accounts. I'm thinking about making one of my accounts premium so it'll be free to play. I've seen something about being able to use sets if you've made it to a certain point. I've got all my tier 7 is that enough? Also do I have to buy a licenses each month for my sets to be good on each toon? Will I be able to use set bonuses on all toons on that account? And also, do I have to have my characters slotted with the sets before it goes free? Any other informaiton that I might've not asked and need to know would be appreciated aswell. Before I post a build to see where all I went wrong I'm wanting to know what I should aim for? Should I build for soft capped defense without using alpha to get me there or save some slots and use alpha to finish the defense off?

    Trying to figure out what goals and order of those goals should I aim for?
    Expecting recharge, defense, HP to be the main choices just not sure the order. Or maybe +damage, or endurance bonuses. Any advice what to aim for would be appreciated.
