elec/wp stalker needing advice

I had posted a build a while back and hadn't been able to play as I was hoping to. So now with I22 getting closer to coming out and I'm closing in on level 50 finally with my stalker I was hoping to get some new advice. I'm not wanting to spend a lot on this toon not knowing how much I'll play him or even if I'll enjoy him in PvP. I've got a rough build put together, which appears it will probably cost more then I'm wanting to spend. I've seen where people has said it doesn't take much to make a stalker decent in PvP so if I'm able to cut back on price some that would be great. Kinda going against what I had just said a bit, if a certain enhancement will make a BIG difference but it's a bit higher then others then I'm willing to consider it or can add it later. I had left an empty slot on thunderstirke thinking of using the ATO chance for hide there. Also what are the best incarnate powers to use on a stalker? Trying to type this in a hurry as I'm needing to get to work, so forgive me if I'm wording this badly. Here's the build, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Well I hate to give away such a secret, but....RV needs to get more competitive anyway.

Stick a stun proc in AS. It's 10% chance for a 5.3 second stun that ignores suppression. Squishies rarely ever have stun resistance, meaning 10% of the time, it will stun them for 5.3 seconds regardless of whether they've been held/slept/immob etc beforehand.

Placate/Thunderstrike takes 1.716+3.432= 5.148 seconds to activate meaning 10% of the time you can pull off...

AS/Placate/Thunderstrike with your opponent not being able to do anything. I've tested it, and 10% of the time you'll 2 shot a helpless squishy, it's well worth the slot.

Aside from that, the build looks very well made. Personally I would try to fit shark jaws in there, only because Spirit Shark + Shark Jaws hit at the exact same time from range, and a 3 proc'd Shark Jaws with a 3 proc'd Spirit Shark is nasty. Although it would take another power and more slots, perhaps you can't fit it.

I doubt the devs will ever fix the proc ignoring suppression since they don't look at PvP, and there's plenty of other loopholes anyway if they do.

Sorry don't follow Sentry's advice. The stun proc suggestion is terrible. The only people you will kill with that are those that are afk. Slot AS with the ATO proc. That will give you much quicker and reliable results. Also I haven't looked at your build but try building for hp bonus as well to get closer to the new stalker hp cap.

Also if you are confident with you AS+thunderstrike crit (will always crit with ATO proc) I would personally skip sharks altogether and go body mastery for physical perfection and focus accuracy. You can then either choose to take your pools as: ss/sj/leadership/stealth or ss/sj/stealth/fighting. If you go with leadership you have amazing accuracy and to hit and can go stalker hunting for fun. Tough with high hps, can make you pretty durable, allowing you to get away from a fight without dying since WP doesn't have any t9 ish powers.

Also use invisibility like a boss and you won't die anyways.

"Also use invisibility like a boss and you won't die anyways."

Can you elaborate on this? I've never PvP'd with a stalker but am thinking about slotting up one next.

Whenever you're running away or being attacked by multiple foes, just switch from stealth to invisibility to get you out of their perception range much quicker. Any stalker without it is really missing out; I often see stalkers with grant invis instead just to get access to phase and don't realise just how good invis is!

If you're going to 3 proc AS then make it both 33% dmg procs and the ATO hide proc. In AS that hide proc puts you straight back into hide after an AS which means you won't need to placate after to land a second crit.

So if I put the other 33%proc and add the ATO proc to AS, then what should I use the last slot in thunderstirke for? Should I reslot it all together or put a proc in the empty spot? Also does anyone know what the new HP cap will be for stalkers so I know what to work towards on that part? I know it's in the forums but my time on here is limited right now so if anyone knows right off that would be great. Almost forgot, what should I put in invis. a regular end reduce IO for now (maybe later on a LotG +rech)?

Thanks for the advice!

The correct answer is -slot both-.

Glad proc, Heca proc, ATO proc, Stun proc with 2 level 53 Acc/dmg HOs + Musc alpha.

The time between AS and Thunderstrike hitting is enough for anybody to hit a heal or respite, unless they're stunned for all of it.

I can understand why someone would come to the conclusion the stun proc is worthless if they don't fully understand mez timers or suppression. Stunning someone for 5 seconds after someone else has held them for 4 seconds means they're incapacitated for a total of 9 seconds.

It literally makes a dom/stalker combo broken. If every stalker in RV started putting the stun proc in AS, nobody could ignore the difference.

Aside from ignoring suppression periods, AS doing a 5 second stun is overpowered as is when it goes off.

You're practically guaranteed 1 kill of every 10, worth much more than a mako proc would be.

Also, don't listen to Musey, get sharks, obviously.

I would go for blaze since haveing 2000hp is dumb, might as well go full retard and pew pew fire.
Also sltting AS as an attack is perfectly viable if you are good at landing AS from hide where having recharge and end redux in the power helps.

Yes.

Skip the stun proc in AS, it may be broken but its low chance to fire combined with most people not being able to AS that much anyway, you're better off putting damage procs + the ATIO in there, of course I've seen some terrible spines stalkers put the proc in either impale / sharks and just spam those all day. Its sad, but funny.

What makes a good stalker isn't so much damage procs or anything like that, its movement speed movement speed movement speed. You need to be able to catch or anticipate your target to line up for an AS, the most you should be doing is AS + Follow up then getting back into hide if its crowded (people will target you fast) if its not all that busy, you can go AS + Follow up + Placate then whatever works, another AS if the target (like so many) is really bad with movement or another follow up sharks or TS.

Your build needs a lot more acc in it though, I'd shoot for tactics + kisment proc + 60-70% global acc.

When evading on a stalker Stealth + stealth proc drops you to a 690 foot stealth radius while turning on invis ups that bonus to 911 feet, meaning you can disappear from a target quicker as you are closer to the 1143 foot cap.

I've got tactics and the kismet proc already in the build. Is my accuracy to low even having those? Also what should the acc of my attacks be in order to hit most of the time? I've got the build put together but I haven't used boosters on my enhan that needs it yet. Can someone tell me if I boost them after slotting or was I suppose to before hand. Thanks!

I'd shoot for 66% + acc slotted in your attacks plus another 60 or 70% global acc on top of tactics. That pretty much allows you to have 95% to hit on every squishy and gives you somewhat of a chance to hit the hoards of melee players running barrier or defense oriented builds.
