Killing people in pvp with the Nemesis Staff as a last ditch attempt to kill them as they run away.
-
MA doesnt really synergize particularly well or particularly poorly with any of the secondaries. Maybe don't go with regen because you might die from not being able to click a heal during MA's long animations. Dark might go well with it because you could stack stuns. Other than that, nothing really stands out.

Softcapped, quite a bit of recharge. Fairly expensive but not horribly so. The kin combats will cost a pretty penny though
. The end should be fine with energize running, and DC + power sink up fairly often. The only real downside to the build is low accuracy

Quote:Invuln is already nerfed to hell. In fact, once Energy Aura becomes available for Scrappers, Invuln will be obsolete...not that it's already not not not obsolete.
Anyone who disagrees with me feel free to -rep. OH, WAIT...
Tell that to nihilli who soloed nine AVs on a DM/inv -

I'm certainly not a hardcore PvP'er but I use the keyboard for nearly everything
Numbers 1-6 I use for attacks and other commonly used powers
F1 - F4 I use for columns 1-4 of inspos (5th column always has greens which I use by clicking the button on the side of mouse)
I use tab for targeting and cycle through rather than trying to click individual targets
WASDQE for movement
T is the button I hit for calling out a target
R is the button I use to go on follow
All of that stuff I use with my left hand.
With my right hand on the mouse i just click on the less commonly used powers like buffs and debuffs in the second tray
I also use the two side buttons for inspos and to talk in vent.
Oh, I forgot, also use left hand to hit spacebar for jump
If youre having problems with using the keyboard instead of the mouse, you probably just need practice. Youll eventually get to the point where you can use all of your fingers to hit buttons and theyll be trained so you dont hit the wrong key. Might take awhile though to get to that point -
Elf, youre asking price is way too high. Nobody is gonna pay 300mil for a build that they could just get if they went to a different section of the forums.

I'm going to take it as a personal compliment that you made a rad/therm
-
It's because when you get higher numbers, it gets hit by DR harder. So the sleet is only a 30% def debuff so it doesnt get hit too hard. But once you start getting up over the 40's stuff gets hit by DR harder and harder. It's an exponential curve.

It has a chance to tick every 10 seconds if someone is dumb enough to sit in it. Procs arent TERRIBLE in it but...meh

My katana/regen. I had a fully purpled, with 5 LoTGs, and the +3 def IO for a PvE build for awhile. I also had a fully purpled, 5 LoTG, with several HO's and PvPIOs PvP build for awhile. All in all, I'd guess maybe 10-15bil (Impossible to say the exact amount since prices fluctuate so much)

Hawk, if you often get discouraged by the smack talk in pvp I suggest you try out some kickball stuff. The smack talk and stupid behavior there is extremely minimal. Maybe do that for awhile and then go to zone when you have a toon that can beat the idiots (My self included) talkin smack in broadcast. That'll shut em up
But seriously, if youre looking for a starter PvP toon, blasters, especially fire/em's are always good. -
-
I think that's mostly due to the large number of kickballs we have
-
Well after my two week vacation a couple members are out of town. Still having a hard time getting answers from people if they want to actually pursue it or not. They say they do but when I ask them to copy their stuff over to test "they never get around to it". So I'll keep you updated
-
My order of blasters
1. Psi/EM (Obviously)
2. Sonic/EM (More delayed dmg and stacking -resists makes it better than fire on teams, imo)
3. Fire/EM (Like mac said, flares with procs on auto = win)
4. Rad/EM and Arch/EM (Rad has better secondary effects but arch has better range, playstyle preference really)
5. Elec/EM (Great end drainer)
6. The rest, none of which should be used in pvp -
What toons were you guys on? I'm guessing elf was on his fire/therm and 4shes was on the rad/dark corr?
-
They have longer range in nova form than any other AT so you can build them to deal high DPS with a super long range and snipe people. Also, they have nice self buffs

Kat/WP. Starts off strong in the early levels and never fades.
