Build Cost Question...

I was just wondering, if you were to tally up how much you've spent on your scrapper, your most favorite scrapper, respec recipes, enhancements, and anything build related about how much would you say you've spent? I've always been curious if there is anyone else out there as crazy as I am to dump so much influence into one character that it could probably fund about 5 purple builds. I think I have a sickness

ummm my pvp scrapper cost me 1.2 bill. But that was back b4 the market got ridiculous and purples were 50-75 mill a piece. 2 purple sets 4 Lotg and a buncha other stuff

I spent about 8 billion on Alexei. Werner and Sergei were both much cheaper, but that was a long time ago. They were quite expensive for the time as I recall.

Hard to say since the prices change so much but my main character is probably worth 4, maybe 5 billions or something like that, though i bought a lot with merits and tickets when the prices were crazy in the old AE days. Still probably not as much as most out there, no pvp IO and not a ton of respecs or changes.

Good point about the prices changing... I forgot that purples and pvp ios used to be a lot less expensive lol.

I don't know which one I spend the most inf on. It is between my DM/SD or my Kat/SR.

My DM/SD was about 2 bill when I first made him He has the +3 PvP IO but I got that for only 200 mil and it was lvl 10 but then the BotZ was nerf so I had to respec and sell some stuff and spend another bill. So I guess that is around 3 bill total.

Now my Kat/SR was my last project and I wanted perma Hasten so I need purples in her I also put in the PvP -res proc so I don't know what my total was but it was around 3 bill, might even be more.

Rough estimates:

Impeccable Girl my FM/SD: 7-8 billion. But they were all buy it nao prices and the PvP IO cost me 3 billion off market.

MunkiLord my DM/SR: Probably about 3 billion, but when I slotted him stuff was a lot cheaper than it is now and he does not have the PvP IO. I also have him slotted so he keeps all his set bonuses at level 30, so I had to pay a bit more to make sure I got the one level 30-33 rare enhancement that would be sold for that month.

I think Bill is up to around 3-4 billion.

EDIT: And he's not getting touched again until after I-19 go live.

Kujutsu, my DM/SD was the most costly, though I'm not entirely sure of the total cost. The Gladiator +Def IO was 2 billion alone, add in Panacea proc for 800 mil, unqiues, and 14 HOs, plus 6-set Hecatomb and 5-set Armageddon.... I'd guess around 8 billion or so. I shudder to think of not only the influence investment, but the hours upon hours poring over the build to get it to do what I wanted it to do...

Wit'ch Fire, my FM/SR fireball build has no PVP IOs, but has three sets of purples, so I'd guess maybe 4.5 billion for her.

Lady Caladria, my wife's BS/Invul has two sets of purples and no PVP IO, so I'd guess maybe 3.5 billion for hers.

Those are the only fully IO'd out toons I've done.

The two most expensive ones I have are probably my Kat/Inv at around 5bil influence or maybe even more just counting the really expensive pieces (two sets of purples, 5 LotG +rech, 3 Heal uniques, PvP +3% Def and -Res proc). I'm glad I bought most of the stuff before the market went crazy so I "only" ended up spending about two billion on it!

Second place is taken by my Elec/SD/Pyre whose build is probably in the range of 2 or 3 billion.

I think it has to be said, though, that I'm very careful with my inf and often look for bargains meaning I'll buy the cheapest IO available at any level between 41 and 50, and I VERY rarely use BUY IT NAO prices.

Last count, put my masterminds build around 12 billion, but im a buy it nao kinda person. 5 full purples, the full heal PvP set (complete with proc) the +res PvP proc, the +def PvP proc, and a ton of hami's which V side are just plain insane.

My katana/regen. I had a fully purpled, with 5 LoTGs, and the +3 def IO for a PvE build for awhile. I also had a fully purpled, 5 LoTG, with several HO's and PvPIOs PvP build for awhile. All in all, I'd guess maybe 10-15bil (Impossible to say the exact amount since prices fluctuate so much)

In INF, it's my DM/Shield. North of 5 billion, in need of a rebuilt apparently since I don't cap anymore (and never got the glad armor +3%)

I guess I'll rebuild her after i19, haven't actually been on in a couple months while I play around with another game.

However, my I2/I3 hami tank Kat/Regen with something like 42+ HO (that no one would sell, you had to earn everyone, had hope you could get a good trade for the ones you needed) who did more Hami raids then I even care to think about. A great many of those raids were spend cycling between taunt, dark blast, and Dull Pain (with perma hasten), the occasional self heal.

I don't like to think about those things. A lot. My DB/SR and DM/SD were easily over 5 billion: Gladiator's Armor unique, Shield Walls, multiple purple sets, 5 LotGs, a bunch of procs...my MA/Regen is probably close to 5 billion at today's prices, although I tricked her out for about a billion back in the day and actually made about a billion selling off IOs when I respecced her during the AE heyday of i14.

I have yet to use a respec recipe though. I still have level 50 Scrappers that have never done a respec trial and actually taken the respec.

Probably my SS/Fire Brute. Over all the respecs he's probably cost about 4-5b. Earned me far more than that though

edit: no idea how much it'd cost to buy all the stuff today though, heh

In terms of inf, it's hard to say.

My Claws/SR cost about 50 million, plus about 1800 merits.

The final set of enhancements for my Katana/Elec would have cost (if I had bought them from a store) 4,131,444 inf, plus several months of Hami raids. No idea how much I spent while leveling up.

I think I spent somewhere around 1.5-2 billion of actual Inf. on Sunwind, however, by todays prices it would cost a lot more, maybe 6-8 billion or so, no idea really, don't want to spent time researching that now. Much of her regular IOs are still from the Katie days, buying a lv30 LotG for 7.5m, Kinetic Combat for less 100k a piece, stuff like that. I got a good number of her recipes myself as drops from the Katie/Eden mass farming days.

The purples I didn't get as drops I bought for 20-40million when they came out, and the two PvP IOs she has (3%Def, Panacea proc). I bought for about 400million a piece.

Now my most expensive build has to go to my elec/will brute.. 4 bil..
