Is Invuln getting the nerf bat too?

I have been hearing some broadcast chatter about shield charge getting nerfed. However, this past weekend I heard that invulnerability may be getting nerfed too.

Does anyone have any info or links to info on this topic?

I've heard no such chatter. Considering that Inv got buffed not to long ago, I'm betting that the rumors are hogwash.

Be well, people of CoH.

What exactly in Invuln would need a nerf? Nothing really. Expecially since it's designed to have a critical weakness to Psionic.

Just nerf Shield Charge. :P

Whining about everything since 2006.

Ammo switching for Dual Pistols was my idea:

Exactly my thinking. I just flinched when I thought my two beloved secondaries were getting nerfed. I can understand sheild charge...but Invuln no way! The individuals that mentioned it quoted Castle but I have not been able to find any such comment.

I hope as all 3 poster mentioned that it is BS.

I'm 99.99% sure it is bogus, not only because Castle just slightly buffed Invuln, but also because I haven't seen Castle post that on the forums.

What Vel said.

No one is gaga for Inv. I think it's medium lame considering the alternatives. Might as well nerf Regen.

Just people trying to cause problems, likely because Shield Charge is getting it's damage lowered, so it doesn't outshine every nuke in the game.

Oh, I am gaga for invuln. I also like regen to though My invlun scrappers and tanks are my favorites.

I like inv so far on my em/inv brute. I would rather it have a passive HP buff like WP does but that's only because now I'll be "forced" to get enough recharge in the build to make DP permanent.

LOL! Aw, poor baby.

But I agree, Inv is far from nerf-worthy.

Castle mentioned Shield Charge and Fiery Aura, and that's all. SC for a nerf, FA for a buff.

That said, I think SD's AAO also needs a tweak down, OR, the other scrapper sets need a tweak up. I think buffs are far more fair, both because I dislike nerfs, and I think Scraps need a good dose of damage to keep them competitive with blueside brutes.

Fiery Embrace should have it's recharge lowered so it can be made perma with a little work. Well, maybe a lot of work.

Invuln could use a 2 percent damage buff for each foe affacted by Invincibility.

Regen could use a ten percent damage buff in reconstruction, that lasts for say a minute.

Super Reflexes could use a four percent damage buff inherent in all three of its toggles.

Electric Armor could get a ten percent damage buff in quickness.

Etc, etc, etc.

But, obviously, I don't have any idea what I'm talking about, so things will continue along swimmingly.

I sure hope not...
Invul already sucks

It doesn't suck, but it certainly isn't the best contender due to it being relatively difficult to soft cap (not impossible, though) and it having no +Regen, +Dam, +Rech or a quickly recharging heal.

I think Invuln is great in the damage mitigation department, but it could be slightly better in either damage recovery or offense. I have no idea how I'd do this, though... Maybe slight +Regen in Dull Pain like Energize has? Or then plug unenhanceable +Regen into the passives, but that might make them too powerful.

Then again, I think Invuln is pretty much fine as it is, but who wouldn't love some more power?

reverse psychology wont work I guess...
Was looking for the 10 minutes video I made with my claws/inv sitting in front of Silver Mantis, surrounded with 9 wolves, using nothing but DP. It was actually more like 30 minutes but only recorded 10 I think I might have deleted it off wegame... bummer

Not easy to softcap, or just not cheap? There is a difference. I don't find it that hard to softcap.

It's additional offense is the +ToHit with Invincibility. You miss less, that means more offense.

Relatively difficult. It's not as easy to soft cap with 1 enemy as the other sets (EDIT: with starting defense) are. 10 enemies, though? In that case it's easier to soft cap than /SD. I'm just referring to the amount of starting Defense with "hard".

Yes it is, so is regen, no more quick recovery.

All varieties of sprint are going to cost 3 end/sec. The devs want you to get in the habit of turning off sprint when fighting.

Invuln is already nerfed to hell. In fact, once Energy Aura becomes available for Scrappers, Invuln will be obsolete...not that it's already not not not obsolete.

Anyone who disagrees with me feel free to -rep. OH, WAIT...

I guess all that S/L Resist, Soft capped defenses and little goodies in the passives account for nothing.

Well done.
I have a 50 in every AT, but Scrappers and Dominators are my favorites.

From what I understand, they're reducing scrapper resistances by 50%, defenses by 30% and completely removing defense debuff protection.

Moreover, they're octupling endurance costs and changing everything to clicks.

Also, when one of your powers is clicked, it suppresses the scrapper crit chance.

No... Not really.

Forgive my ignorance, here. How has INV been buffed? Thank you!
