Thanks u too. Helpful insight. I have a BS/DA Scrapper who is ridiculous, but I know a lot of that mitigation comes from the KU/KD and parry. My Invul/SS tank was my 1st toon, and is very dusty. Invul was very meh to me back in the day.
I think Im set on Elec melee (mostly for LR as a suedo BoomTube). I agree granite wouldnt really fit thematically. Nor would the Cloak of Darkness which gimps DA without. I may have to relook into Invul again. I can see some insane def coming from all the Oblit in the pbAoEs plus universal travel powers which I would use in TP Foe and Friend along w/ probably CJ. There is a huge hole for psy in Invul as eveyone knows, but I should be able to make up some of that hole w/ the psy res & def procs in the my primary. I'll probably make this a Brute for more damage.

I think Im gonna roll him up tonite actually. Anyone wanna team up Red side? Probably make him on Freedom.

Ya that might be it. Sucks too cuz it looks amazing. Would be even better w/ color customization. Oh well. Back to the drawing board.

Is this available anywhere ingame? Its a sweet rifle and my AR/Traps Corr would love to have it. I can't find a pic online and Im @ work right now or I would post it. I'll post a screenie when I get home. Looks kinda like a gold sniper rifle w/ a silencer on it. Very shiek!

True. Looks to me like Fire/Eng or Fire/Elec would make the most of 4/8 rikti spawns. I dunno. Brain hurts

You can also slot the chance for heal proc in ur ST attacks and may not need the self heals. Especially if you 2 slot it for the 10% regen.

Yes all TA moves root you while animating. That said TA is probably a better set team wise, Traps solo. I have an AR/Traps Corr on Freedom that kicks a**. I wouldnt put the redraw penalty of AR/TA on anyone. Horrible. just my 2 inf tho YMMV

Im gonna say assault. While the def will make a difference, Stalkers are fast burst damage killers and more damage makes it faster. If you have the End Recovery to take it I would.

Nericus - what is ur run speed in Granite w/ that much of a run speed boost?

Bill - thanks. I was more trying to find a way around the -speed in granite and thought that Lightning Rod would help while in combat. Plus it fit thematically for my Darkseid knockoff. I was only thinking about the damage increase for Brutes as I like to solo some. Interesting thought though about the -speed and fury. I'll have to consider that. This will be my long term IO project I think. AHHHH ALTITIS!!

Question for you Villains. Ive been debating on making a Stone/Elm Tank or Elm/Stone Brute. Ive been leaning on the brute due to increased damage (& fury) since the def/res won't be that much of a difference between the tank and brute. Anyone w/ experience w/ that setup? Is the LR as awesome on a Stone as some of the other sets. I thought it would be given the slow in Granite.

Can you ninja run in Granite? I HIGHLY doubt it, but worth a shot.

I'll ad my 2 inf. I think its a great idea, but it could be abused, as anything in this game can be. 20 KB prot for free is game breaking, especially since you can get the 5 for readily used slots/power picks anyway. All of my flying toon (except stalker) have hover, CJ, and at least one of the TPs if not more. I can easiy get 4 sets on most toons without much trouble, and thats a nice little ranged/aoe def boost, especially for squishies.YMMV tho

I have to agree w/ MA/Nin Stalker. I have a knockoff on Triumph that kicks so much **** its not funny. Ive solo'd almost every arc villain side up through lvl 14. Very fun toon. If you go this route, take this advice, take the fly pool (air Sup and Fly for travel) instead of speed or jumping. You will need the extra attack early on, and there is nothing better than Fly while hidden. I would take swift (to help w/ fly speed) and even hurdle later if you wanted to. Would also try and fit in Combat Jumping (immob protection) and maybe work on the fighting pool for tough (wont need weave w/ all that defense) just in case something gets though ur defense.
Im planning on going Soul Patron for shadow meld, but YMMV. Enjoy!

Sup folks, Im a newer Villain player (always blueside before) but I have found the awesomeness that is the stalker AT and want to kill a TON of Rikti. Armor was easiest to pick w/ Electric. I don't really want to go spines but Im open to Dark Melee, Ninja Blade, Broad Sword, or Claws. My first instinct was to go Nin or BS for the parry/DA, but Ive never played a Dark or Claws toon.

If anyone has a build they would like to share that is good for solo and some teaming geared mostly towards high end Rikti (pylons included) killing.
Humanities last best hope to twart the Rikti Invasion rests in the hands of.... a Villain! MUAHAHAHA

Ive made 2 very similar toons. One I took to the 20s (MA/WP) Scraper the other is an MA/Nin Stalker. I have to say the stalker is probably my 2nd fav toon ever made. The fist of annihilation is an awesome animation andis easily the hardest hitting attack you will get on any single toon until the 30s. While the complete lack of AoE on the stalker is kind of disconcerting, it fits the theme of the toon perfectly, especially on the setting I run. +0 +2. I slotted for major accuracy, BU + Assassinate = pretty much dead anything lower than a boss. I havent tried the cobra strike but I can see how that will help my toon a ton. Nin is amazing for defense (end is a lil heaving especially w/ MA as a primary). YMMV but if you are loving MA liek that, I highly suggest you try a MA/Nin Stalker. I go through story arcs (getting mad merits) faster than any toon Ive ever seen. Just my 2 inf tho.

This is exactly how I do mine when solo. I don't get to use RoA much on larger teams unless I break away from the group and try and KO the next mob on my own. My current nukish chain is BU/Conc/RoA/Explo/Fist/Psy Scream. Drops pretty much anything except bosses. Then I immob and snipe the bosses to death...er defeat.
