The bases can be used for something... well, usefull! That is more than you can say about most games housing! (Daoc being the only other game that springs to mind)
I'm actually starting to find Pre income rather fine... we are earning pre fast in my SG (even though the core is only 6 or so high levels) The lower levels in the SG earns in their fair share as well, also counting Alts.
Achiving your goals is what this is all about.
Are you sure you loose the salvage if you delete a personal item? As far as I can remember I read, the item is returned to the crafter and the SG regain the Pre used in placing the item.
Our SG is but a month old, and we have a functional base... the pre is pouring in and people are happyWhat more could you expect! Just think of what it's gonna look like in a month...2 months... or 6 months!!
Just cos you can't get the best of the best now, doesn't mean you won't get there

Your not gonna achive anything with 3 members... at all!
As things are now, getting a good base up and running, takes alot of time and effort. I'm a SG (VG if u want) leader on Union, just hit 30 (so that is about 20 levels with the SG mode on) and I've earned 140k Prestige alone...
Wich isn't really that much, but then we have the core of the SG, wich have made about 600k togeather, besides that you have the alts and lower level members that comes to around 150k + the 15 first members ( we are about 30 or so ) with the bonus 20k pre.
So as you can see, we are well on the way, but alone (or 3 of us) wouldn't do anything :P
We have a workshop (basic and advanced) up and running, holo display for more control and a super computer to give us SG missions! Soon we will have a teleporter room up with 2 teleporters and 4 beacons!Things are going MUCH faster than I thought they would when we started out...
Keep on it mate, is all I can say, but get members... or at least put in Alts to get your bonus 20k pr. memberThat will set you off on a good start.

This is a major problem for MM's, as we are the most squishy AT that exist :P
But I've found that hugging the walls and hiding round corners to be the best way of dealing with this... and before you go in.... get some respites....! -
Besides, they can't craft in your base... they might be able to use your Teleporters or Hospitals, but that I'm not sure of...

I suppose cast the pets and fly away to a safe distance, but then again, if the enemies are airborne, then the pets are pretty ineffective anyway.

I find, at the moment, my Necro fairly inefficient in pvp, but only in Siren's Call...
Now, I haven't tried with my Lich pet... but I'm hoping his hold spells and damage output will make up for a good bit of it

But I disagree with you on the issue that MM's "suck" after level 20... if anything they keep getting more and more powerful... Depends on your build I guess... but if you think it's annoying having to summon and equip every time, then OF COURSE MM isn't for you!! It's logic...
Having to summon, set up and enhance is a part of the process... and I for one love it...
MM's is all about tactics, if you don't have the ability to play one, go play a Dominator...or Corruptor....

Info: We are a group originaly from CoH, Angels of Redemption, that due to the high amount of people wanting to try out CoV, have created our SG on CoV using the same principles. We aim to create a family, where we join forces to help eachother, be that hunting, inf, enhancements, chatting, guidiance, or whatever it may people need.
We aim for the bit older audience, and that is why we recomend that aplicants have the age of at least 15.

So your saying you won't help your SG earn prestige ? here is how it goes:
1-24 = No penalty, high pre income
25-34 = Low penalty, medium pre income (about 1/10th of the inf)
35-50 = Either Pre or Inf, no middle way.
So keep that SG uniform on a good while yet! -
I do know that Villains is restricted to level 40 right now (Not sure why though, but read it somewhere)
BUT I figure they will change that sooner or later, and 50 is ALOT of game timehehe
Take a look.. Based on the idea to let the pets do the work, as I think it was intended. The MM's primary job will be to heal and stand around with the aura's of leadership to enhance the pets (Assault can't take damage enhancements.. odd...)

I'd still take Stamina, just dont put anymore than three slots in it. Hastes still very useful, despite being unpermable, but Super Jump should be the only travel power you need.

Regarding travel power, it's a matter of what you like...
I've got Teleport and it's great! Mostly I'm faster than everyone else, and you help your team with Recall Friend..
Don't get me wrong, super speed is great too, but not my kind of thing. But up to you what you like

6 slot stamina ?? Ehm... with the new ED, 3 slotting will be sufficiant, as the next 4th slot will give you like 2%, and the 5th 1%.... waste of slots and INF...
No one Enhancement should be used more than 3 times after the patch, doing so would be INSANELY stupid :P

1: Get your shields up!
2: Get your shields SLOTTED! At least 2 slots in each (Dark Embrace should get alot of loving) at 24 I have 5 slots in DE and 2 in the other two shields. As with the new changes to Enhancements, it's only worth putting 3 Enhancements in to increase the damage absorbtion. But adding end reduction is a very good idea as well, because at 24, I have 3 shields and my stealth going at once...
Also, get into the Fitness pool, as you have no real regen powers. Stamina at 20 will be VERY important for you... trust me... and get at least 2 slots into that one as well.

Style, class and most importantly looking really good in a fight. I am afraid DM/DA fails on all those points.
Even if it didn't, its claimed uberness only means that it takes less skill to play effectively than Martial Arts. The weakest warrior is the one with the strongest weapon.

Mind you that all DM/DA skills DO look good, have some awesome animations to go with them and the sounds of the shilds aren't as annoying as many others :P
And it does take skill to play, as you need to do it right, placement as a DM scrapper is by far the most important of all! Place yourself wrongly and you will loose your advantage. -

DM/DA FTW! I've stood against enemies longer than some tanks, and out damaged other scrappers on my team untill they went: "booohoo what is that your using!" and I go: "It's shadowmaul and it ownzorz!"
