I only took Gloom. Although its still early days (lvl 14 at the mo) I have solo'ed and teamed happily with only the one blast.
I do have DM as my secondary though and took my lvl 4 power pick from there.

There's no L41-50 yet. So no Epics. Reportedly, Epics will be based on which of Recluses Lieutenants you work for.

I'd imagine it being quite below room temperature.
The plan is that instead of epic pools we get the patron system,which is choosing one of recluses followers to ..follow. i expect there are lots of benefits to this,probably epic powers as well.i think thats way better then just a couple of pools.

I'm loving the change ins mish choices as well.
In regards to the OP the build sound like a winner IMHO,
I'm necro/poison on Hecate altho she's not as far on as I'd like but got most of the way in beta (sobs @ loss).
I've never been a fan of fly much but its personal choice, I try not to travel ouside or a mish map with pets in tow anyhoo so my SJ served me well. I can see the advantages of team fly/tp with MM pets tho.
And leadership is good for a solo or team MM too, necromancy offers really great pets, with DM you get the extra of my beloved fuzzi.. i mean dark servant but with poison your not lacking, the fitness pool is almost a must for most AT's and stamina is good for a MM to have.
Poison is a really great set - that coming from a confirmed darkmiasma acolyte
The build doesn't take Envenom, Weaken or Neurotoxic Breath. In my opinion (and I'm often wrong) that's at worst suicide and at best ignoring three very, very useful powers. The two blasts being taken instead aren't going to come close to making up the difference in damage between having Envenom on a mob.

Actually, my pets seem to kill mobs fast enough, the damage I get isn't too bad considering my heal and if I loose some I just resummon. I admit, sometimes a debuff or two would be nice, but with Paralytic Poison at 28, it kinda evens things out... trust me...
I hate debuffs in general, as I have problems seeing their actuall effect! So I skip thoes, appart from the poison trap and the AoE pet disease, much better
So all in all, it's not suicide, it's just a different way to play
Also, I've started to think about not getting the Tactics... but that might change once post 40 comes online
Ohh, and I just hit 30 and my build has changed alot since I made this :P
I guess I just fail to see how being able to kill anything ~20% faster while it kills you ~20% slower is optional. Those numbers are only taking into account the things easily measured (resist debuff and damage debuff) on Envenom and Weaken. There's also the -regen, -recharge, -speed, -healing, -effects, -acc, -def.
Each to their own though. Good to know there are other ways to succeed. I'd be interested in seeing your current built if it's not top secret .

At 31 have tried both Group Fly and Group Teleport, Gfly is not awful but as the pets even on passive follow tend to get lost and fall out its not that good, and GTP is a complete waste of a power, you are pretty much limited to one hop before pets get left behind. For team mates it may be different and again possibly different for non robot MM but I will be losing both in my next respec.
This is the build I'm planning on using. I'm 18 so far. I decided that Stamina is probably necessary after all. Most fights are okay but there're times when you get a horde of minions charging you and most boss fights have me scrambling for end. Plus having stamina would allow me to slot more recharges in Alkaloid. Besides I absolutely love Swift. The faster I can move around the better. I'm tempted to ignore Health in favour of Hurdle to be honest.

Actually, I find Group fly very usefull in many cases. Not for transporting minions over larger distances, but for catching flyers in missions, getting up from caves where the pet's can't find their way around, in many CoT or Tsoo missions it's needed.
So all in all a great skill, if used properly
Created this "new" build, I will apply it to my character once I do the second respec. ALTHOUGH, I'm NOT fond of the idea that I won't have any offensive capabilities but debuffs at all, and then again, the 25 damage (when I occationaly hit) or dot of 5x4 damage isn't really doing anything either way... SO, I've descided to listen to people and take debuffs
I know that the dark empowerment has 4 of the same SO, but rather than end reduction, the extra 3% takes it down to half recharge rate (90 rather than 180) so deffinatly worth it for that skill.
Could have put extra slots in envenom and weaken, but I didn't feel like it, maybe after level 40
I'm currently at level 32 and just got Dark Empowerment... !!

I've been in both situations, however I find that Gfly has no real advantage, flyers I have ranged attacks (well pets do) if they get out of range thats okay gives me more time to recharge powers, in CoT caves and I know the room you're thinking of, Man I hate that room, even with my less than nimble Assault Bot as long as I keep them in a group and I know the way up we do fine, only problem comes when I fly/jump up bits that they can't.
However I suspect both these points are down in part to play style, but mainly I have mainly ranged pets, while you have mainly melee pets, plus my battle drones come with SJ.
Each to their own I suppose.
OTOH TP Friend(Recal) is very good when a pet gets stuck in the scenery, especially if its the one that you've double buffed.
Seraphim your build is just about the same as mine except for a bit of switching of utility powers and levels obtained. You took Group Fly instead of Neurotoxic Breath and Recall Friend instead of Antidote. Other than that they're identical.
I do like the idea of NB but I'm honestly not sure how well it works. The cone range is huge though and when the hold does land it can be quite useful.
I'm not sure about heals in the zombies either. To be honest when they get one shotted (often) or close to it (very, very often) I'm not sure the small chance that they'll use Life Drain at the right time is worth it. Especially since the chances are when they die so much you probably won't have DE on them all the time anyway.
As the mobs hit harder and harder I'm really finding Alkaloid to be quite lacking in it's ability to keep my henchmen alive. I have a feeling my life would a lot easier if I had Twilight Grasp.
But then I only just hit 20 so a lot of this is speculation. I did get a cool raggedy cloak for my pirate zombie though! Awesome fun .
My alkaloid heals for 188 at the moment, enough to keep my Evil Archangels (Grave Knights) alive most of the times, and enough to heal up a Fallen Angel (Zombie) when he has taken a beating. With 2 recharges in it it replenishes very fast.
Twilight grasp depends on 1) hitting the enemy 2) Enemy is present 3) you being right next to your minnions, where you DEFFINATLY don't want to be later on in levels :P
NB seems like a waste to me, -spd -recharge... dumb :P Wouldn't bother with that.
Yeah, the Heal in the Fallen Angels is...changeable, but when they have DE on, and that will happen trust me, they will heal for alot more (tested last night he healed for 79 on a hit) but that would come to at least 105 or so with 1 SO in it, so at times it would help. Another TO hit enhancement wouldn't really do much IMHO, so rather use a heal there, in case

I do know that Villains is restricted to level 40 right now (Not sure why though, but read it somewhere)
BUT I figure they will change that sooner or later, and 50 is ALOT of game time hehe
Take a look.. Based on the idea to let the pets do the work, as I think it was intended. The MM's primary job will be to heal and stand around with the aura's of leadership to enhance the pets (Assault can't take damage enhancements.. odd...)
