    Mids says I can enhance it with an Acc/Mez S/HO in the cage. No idea if this actually works though.

    No. Transference's Target is the foe and therefore slotting it in transference will give the additional endurance to the foes, not to you and your teammates.

    Hold It! Transference summons a pet upon activation - wouldn't it transfer the proc just like it did with Touch of the Nictus before that bug was fixed (immediately after I13)?

    You're right. My mistake.

    I think your tactic of constantly flipping bosses would get really tedious really quickly, however. I prefer a perma-lock with holds.

    Or do they get KB suppression now? I haven't entered RV with my Dom since I13.

    I don't feel like creating a new thread but would I gimp myself much by skipping both Bone Smasher and Total Focus? Hear me out.

    I am trying Mind Control for the first time. Mind has a lot of useful powers and it is all ranged.

    I looked at the numbers and /Energy's ranged dps is quite impressive. I mean Power Bolt, Push, Blast and Burst is a very solid attack chain. I don't know if I have much time using melee attacks to be honest. Mind control doesn't have -kb so my target after Power Push is always so far away unless I push him to a corner/wall.


    Have any of you tried /Energy without melee? Or maybe just skipping Total Focus? I am not a huge fan of 3s attack. I feel 70% of the time it's either overkill or wasted. Another thing is other ATs use Total Focus for mag 4 stun as well but I already have hold. What do you think?

  7. Don't forget that Hide gives a stalker:

    37.5% Defense to AoE
    3.75% To everything else (except Psionic)

    While hidden, and

    1.88% to everything (except Psionic)

    While revealed.

    Cloaking Device gives

    7.5% Defense (Melee, Ranged, AoE) while hidden
    3.75% Defense (Melee, Ranged, AoE) while revealed.

    AT Modifiers are included in both sets of numbers.
  8. The only thing in my Grav/Psi I would consider Buzzsawing is Crushing Field. Nothing else is worth it, and I'm probably gonna take K.C. out of Lift now that it does good damage.

  11. I don't think level matters - I tried Dimension Shift on some -14 critters and it still lasted 30 seconds (+/- 1 second due to server lag).

    I'm not taking a power that takes a quarter of my end bar for 3 seconds every 60 seconds. It's just inefficient to me.

    The addition of the heal into ED really and I do mean REALLY helped ot stabilize the set and can easily turn the tide of a fight even with a single even level IO slotted since the amount healed is based off the number of targets ya hit.

    /EA has enough tools between the end recovery/heal power, the perma stealth power and decent defense numbers even in SO's to make the set really solid though I d agree the addition of a agro aura would push the set from solid to just below granite for survivability.

    Uh. My guy has 43-45% Defense to S/L/F/C/E and 33% to Negative, 2000 HP without popping Overload, a regeneration rate of around 350%, and Siphon Life is still slotted as a Heal.

    The Heal in Energy Drain is negligible against a single target, and against a large mob is only about 40% after my HP Buffs. I'm only slotting Numina's into ED to get the +12% Regeneration. If the Heal was based on the rank of the critter (like Stygian Circle's *wink wink*), then I might give it credence.

    As it stands, I'd much rather get another 1.88% Defense to Smashing/Lethal and 3.75% to Energy, and another 20 odd % Defense Debuff resistance (Make either toggle enhanceable like SR). If we got all 3 things? I'd call the set completely fixed.
  16. Moar Proliferation please. It's been more than a year and I want a Psychic Blast Corruptor. Pair it with Poison.
    Also Claws/Regen Brutes. Sonic Resonance MMs. Ice Stalkers.

    Dual Pistols should be fun though.

    If I were gonna reorganize the set, it would be like this:

    - Move Dimension Shift to 26.
    - Move Gravity Distortion Field to 12.
    - Move Wormhole to 18.

    Done.
  18. My main is a DM/EA Brute who has been IOed to the gills. I'll say this about the I13 Buffs to EA - it's brought up EA's performance roughly to ElAs: Against Even cons, Electric is better, and Higher level opponents it's advantage Energy. (Because of the End Drain in ElA scaling down against +1s and up)

    The Set still needs some help, in my opinion.

    Dark Armor has an identical power (Cloak of Darkness), at the same level, that gives Immob protection and +Perception.

    If people (Read Also: Myself) can't use Dimension Shift correctly at level 50, why are we getting it before our AoE Hold?

    I'd put DS to the T8 and move GDF and Wormhole up one tier each myself.

    My Grav/Psi is still 42. I'll probably finish leveling him now that Psi Assault has been fixed, but I'll say this - Singularity is the only thing in Gravity that keeps me from deleting Altimus.

    Dark Consumption and Consume do DAMAGE. They don't drain endurance, that's how the PS Proc works in it.

    DM/WP is overkill IMO. It doesn't really need Dark Consumption as much, or Siphon Life. SR is really good with it - the ToHit debuffs work really nicely. DM/FA is a match made in Heaven IMO, but it will take a little while to garner the endurance needed.

    Remember: DM makes EVERYTHING better.

    In PVP, it's actually a far closer comparison (and only between Fire and Psi) then I had expected, however, everyone gets at least 40% Resistance to Psionics in PVP as well (reducing the total damage there), with the exception being Tankers, Brutes, Stalkers, and Scrappers only getting 10% base resistance... and enhancable well up to over 50% in some (most) sets with just SOs, and those sets that don't get more then 10% are purely defensive sets that get additional Psi defense instead.

    Was this changed in I14? Cause Tankers and MasterMinds get 0% Resistance in PvP zones as of I13.
