Honestly? A year ago I had 2 50s - I've got 8 now - If I make a character I don't redo powersets (Unless it's really easy to use like Will Power). But I won't be redoing a Gravity Control character - Unless the update makes my Grav/Psi playable again, I wont look at it ever again.

Quote:In other words - only if they can make money on it.Powers team is on record that they would love to fill out Pools, like fire or electricity for all ATs. Problem is time. They're certainly not going to hold up a new major powerset or filling out the attacks of new foes for new issues to work on Pools. Priorities.

Quote:#1 - My Villains had a blast doing the Rikti Arcs, thank you very much. But they're not nearly as complex or as easy to relate to as the Praetorians
#2 - The only good Praetorian is a dead Praetorian, with the sole exceptions of Provost Marchand, Noble Savage, and Penny. (Note that both Metronome AND DeVore are already dead, so not an issue IMO) -
Quote:Prometheus mentions that Cole's ability to convince the Hamidon to give humanity another chance is what attracted the Well's attention. But the Underground Trial shows that (SPOILER ALERT!) Emperor Cole WASN'T willing to use his power... And he had EVERY reason to want to rain some righteous, furious lightning on the rampaging Hamidon. But he didn't. So the story of "willingness to use..." is a little sketchy.

Quote:Honestly my Night Widow's Mind Link isn't my concern (I still have 3 or 4 slots in it) - it's my Defender's Vengeance, since he only has the one slot to give the power.Agreed. I know Castle was trying something fancy. I never really "got" what he was doing, though. I immediately worked around it by slotting Def/Rech IOs when my Widow was in her 20s, and switched to Membranes near 50.
If I have to I can work around this using level 50+5 boosted Def/Rech IOs. It seems silly to have to, though. -
Wait, they don't stack? Or is it just the -spd that doesnt stack?

...You do realize the devs only added APPs like 2 times, ever, right? Elec Mastery for Blasters, and Fire for Scrappers.
I'm still waiting on an Elec Mastery for Controllers. -
Skipped it from day 1 - If its 2 seconds, it MIGHT be worth looking at.

Case in Point - Redside theres a 30-40 tip involving both you and the Tsoo performing simultaneous raids on Sky Dragon's Warehouse - They specifically mention an upcoming attempt to retake Dark Astoria - and this was back in i18.

Quote:Never took the power on my dominator, but I *DID* solo Dominatrix a couple weeks ago, and it appeared to be working fine the 6 or so times she shot at me.I was actually going to ask about this, but I neglected to do so. I don't have any characters with Propel to test this with, but having seen what smaller particles do, I had to wonder what's the status on the larger debris from Propel. Are those floating up through the ceiling or down through the floor, too?

Quote:I've actually been in an iTrial que where it DID immediately start, so I know in that case it wasn't the server.23 of 24 players entering...
Okay, we've all seen the queue stop with one person left to click the green button, and we've all seen at least half a dozen snarky comments in league chat about how "there's always one." Doesn't that tell you something? The fact that this occurs with 99% regularity indicates a system behavior, not a player behavior.
My theory is that the server is initializing the trial and simply not updating the player count once TEAMSIZE-1 players have been recorded as entering. Has anyone ever seen a Dev confirm that this phenomenon is the result of inattentive players rather than the system itself? I am convinced it has nothing to do with one person falling asleep at the keyboard, as it is simply far too common for that. -

Specifically It was because people were negating rooting in PvP - There was a Spines Scrapper in Warburg soloing 5 or 6 Villains because no one could catch him due to Whirlwind/Impale (this was back when it had an 80' range). I doubt many can take advantage of this in PvP since a single hold will reset you AFAIK.

Uh... I don't plan on doing enough iTrials on my toons to stockpile 70 so it's not really wasteful for me.

-
This, but usually I just break them down into the threads. I get bad headaches from most trials these days (the 15-20 minute assemble time doesn't help) so I can't even be bothered stockpiling 8 on one toon.
-
Yeah, and we'll probably need the first two Battalion Trials to unlock the next 4 Incarnate slots, still making UGT/TPN/MOM a waste of time for anyone not badging.

Quote:Basically this. The devs make the first two trials completely capable of doing the work of unlocking Destiny/Lore, then wonder why no one feels motivated to do new stuff since they have to first Grind to +3 (the rares aren't the issue, its the sheer number of commons) in order to actually contribute against the +1 and +2 AVs. This isn't fun anymore - and it was BARELY fun to begin with. Then there's really no reason for them to continue playing the character, just sit them back on the shelf and wait for the next round of slot unlocks. Kind of defeats the purpose of giving people more things to do when they hit end game when they just hoard everything up from the older content.
...If I'm +3 I'm done with most characters, and if I'm not, I'm Leeching in the later trials.
My Squishy characters get demolished unless they took ONE SPECIFIC Ancillary/Patron shield, and my Melees get two shotted by the Vickies, while they have no difficulty tanking the AVs. It's just frustrating how the developers try to balance content and always go the route of "moar damage and tohit" rather than having unresistable damage (25-40%) and some actual thought on how the gimmicks will be received. ("Why dont they like easily griefable encounters, and a rez mechanic that destroys dreams?")
