Trek 2009 isn't a reboot, it's an alternate timeline which shares a common past with the Original Trek timeline (in which I include TNG-era, not just The Original Series), since the timeline didn't split until Nero's attack on Kirk Senior's ship.
Guess what that common past is. -
Both are things I doubt we'll ever see in the game as we know it. A sequel, maybe. There's just too much to rebuild.
No strong feelings about the first one, but I do like the second one. It goes without saying that the contact trees blueside are an absolute snorefest, and there's not a lot of wiggle room redside either (sure, you can work for a separate group here or there, but your association with that groups is generally limited to that contact's missions).
Not sure how I feel about costume options being limited to a faction. It's bad enough we have ones tied to missions, not being able to choose a certain piece that would really go well with my character's costume because I picked Council vs. Freakshow would just suck.
As for PvP?

I haven't observed that being the case at all, at least not with the Gravitic Interface on my Elec^3 Blaster.

Easy enough to fix -- "Are you SURE you want to delete this salvage?"

Even if you take the movie as a prequel, you still need to disregard most of X-Men 3 and Wolverine.
The bigger issue that I see is Alex Summers being a teenager in the 60s, which would make him middle-aged by the time of the first X-Men movie where Cyclops is in his 20s(ish). You could cajigger this by saying that in this continuity, Alex is Scott's father. But that's not even addressing the relationship between Mystique and Charles in First Class, which if it were a true prequel would make Mystique's sabotage of Cerebro in X-Men 1 particularly cruel. -
Quote:I was in Pocket D 15 on Freedom and the devs made it there, so I'd be surprised if they somehow didn't make it to 7.Yeah, it was the main Freedom one.
I was in Poc D 7 from 9:40 PM EST on, while the announced time was 10:00 EST PM.
Saw dev's chatting, but never saw word one about handing anything out.
Saw the "we'll get to all instances" post a lot.
I was also on for a good amount of the Virtue version, but never saw any hint that a title would be given out there, but saw plenty of Virtue characters with it the next day.
(I was not on near the end of that one...)
I was trying not to sound too irate, since the title has no game effect.
But it does irk me that the announcements said "do X to get Y", and I did X, but, um, no Y...
Maybe you just missed it. -
Look, you play the game the way you want to play it, and I'll play the game the way I want to play it.

The bacon requirements in this game are clearly ridiculous. I mean, I like bacon and all, but I can't eat that much! Are the devs trying to give us heart disease?
Petition: Nerf bacon!

If you didn't see titles getting handed out then I don't know what to tell you, I saw the devs repeatedly asking in the Admin channel if everyone had a title, and if anyone still needed one to go to a specific area of Pocket D so they could identify those people more easily.
-
As long as you weren't holding it because the devs nerfed the mission and made the current version no longer farmable, yes, your missions and arcs will still be there when you come back. In fact, having open arcs on your previous alignment counts toward your total arcs, which may cause you problems if you start too many arcs on both sides without finishing any of them.

10 is way too many. For that matter, I think anything more than 1 per costume would be horribly self-indulgent. But I would like to see the ability to tie them to different costumes, though.

You're right, I should have clearly specified in the title of this topic that this would be a QoL change.
Sorry for the confusion, I will try to be clearer in the future.
This would be a fully acceptable solution as well. -
Scrapyard can and does despawn on his own after X amount of time.

My Tanker actually can withstand an assault from a Rikti Pylon, he just can't do enough damage to defeat it. I considered doing it on my Bots/Dark since he can solo a Pylon but wasn't sure if I'd be able to get them down in time (and at any rate, it was too late last night for me to take the time to do it).

I am presently unable to get the teleport beacon for Rikti War Zone because I can't get Unabashed, which is under the shield. This really ought to be accessible at any time, to the best of my recollection no other beacon is locked behind content like this (certainly not raid content).
I am leaving my Tanker parked on the shield in protest until this happens.

Are they even still selecting new Dev's Choice arcs? Last I heard that had been abandoned.

On the topic of OG's stun-wandering problem, the Razzle Dazzle: Chance for Immobilize proc can help to mitigate this somewhat, but in my experience doesn't really do a very good job. It's a 20% chance, which is not bad for a proc but not really enough to keep most of the baddies in place.

Based on your reg date I'm surprised you don't remember that Cone Enhancements actually existed in-game until Issue 5. Range enhancements now have the same effect on Cone powers, but not AoEs.

Quote:And don't forget about Health, which is now inherent.According to city of data, at level 50 it's doing 6.26 damage to you per tick per enemy, so a total of 31.3 damage/s when saturated (max targets 10).
Base scrapper regen is 5.58 hp/s, so 31.3 hp/s is 5.6 times your usual regeneration. So you'd need a total of +460% regen to counteract that, if I did my math correctly. At the HP cap your base regen jumps to 10.04 hp/s, so you'd only need a total of +212% regen, again assuming I did my math right.
The -HP on OG is really not an issue. If you're running it with Dark Armor, you have a PBAoE self-heal that can trigger off anything that is close enough to be boosting OG. -
Freitag randomly showed up under the statue in Atlas last night for like 10 minutes. Shredded on air guitar with him.

Don't quote me since I'm not at all involved with it, but I thought this sort of feature was coming in a future iteration of CIT, since Titan Sentinel can already export builds from the game.

This isn't the first I've heard of M-destrians working erratically. Sounds like they're bugged, possibly just for new characters.
EDIT: tested a few characters. 800-odd for my 50 Blaster (created just before I5 and left to agther dust for a while after CoV came out), 1040 for my 50 Mastermind (created shortly after CoV went Live), 24 hours for a 22-ish Brute from Praetoria (created shortly after GR), 2 hours for my 7 Scrapper created a few weeks ago. First two are right based on my recollection of the last time I checked (a while ago, admittedly), last one is definitely right, the Praetorian seems like it could be right but I honestly am not sure. If there is a bug, it doesn't seem to be an obvious consistency with when the character was created.
