  1. I got news for you, it was never fixed.

Paragon Points aren't in-game currency, at least not in the way you're describing. They're not the same as Merits, Tickets, Shards, Threads, or anything else that you use in-game. They're tied to your account and are used for global unlocks.
  3. Sorry to derail but I don't suppose anyone else had AVG block their access to this thread?
  4. I thought saved costumes also saved the settings on the body sliders?

Based on what we've been told I doubt it will be so pedestrian a set. We already know that it will "buff buffs", and it's supposed to be a very unique set.
  6. Must be your imagination. You can't go beyond the limits of the scales.

EDIT: I also want to add that part of me was hoping this thread would have something to do with the 90s cartoon.

No it's not. We live here (take "here" to mean "CoH Primal Earth"). This is where we live. Rikti live on their Earth. That is where they live.

Did you miss the day when they taught "here' and "there"?

You're not losing a heal, you're losing a crappy worthless mini-heal and gaining a real heal in the form of Energize. But apparently your Brute is "sturdy enough" so I don't understand why you're worried about the loss of a heal in the first place. Seems like you'd only be hurting yourself by not taking Energize.
  9. I don't understand how two separate people managed to derive "devs hate villains" from my post.

I do actually remember the months after CoV came out when the playerbase was all "devs hate heroes/blueside is dead", which lasted until Issue 8 when heroes got Radio Missions and Safeguards. I'm sure EA's buff had something to do with it being proliferated, but that would have happened regardless of which way it had proliferated (villains->heroes or heroes->villains).

  11. Of course, the real problem is that you don't get the heal until level 35...

    Buddy.
  13. The only important part of this announcement is that Energy Aura may actually become playable. Guess I'll put my Kin/EA on the back-burner until then, since he's not even high enough for most of the important changes.

You mean the Respec Trials that nobody had run in forever until they started making them the WST, and the Patron arc that people run the least? Almost hard to blame them, to be honest...

So it's still the paper in Paragon City, but the mission is based there? Huh, didn't know that.

I don't believe that's the case. Doesn't the police radio only open up if you go full Hero? Until then, it remains an inactive contact, like any other Hero-side contact you may have previously acquired.

    missing text??

As I said in my last post, <ERROR: CANNOT FIND OBVIOUSJOKE.TXT>
  19. That's odd since I generally have the opposite experience with base portals (have to get really close to even see it).

    Endurance Drain

Inspirations. They exist for a reason. Use them.
  21. The Mutant Pack parts are pretty nice. I was pretty disappointed by the Cyborg pack, the textures on most of the parts are horrible resolution and as a result somehow manage to look worse than some legacy parts (probably because legacy stuff was less detailed, while the Cyborg stuff has more detail but is not at a high enough resolution to be worth it).
  22. Clockwork A87952 for Loyalists, Message Man for Resistance. They're automatically added to the contact list at level 5, you just call them from there, you can't meet with them in person.

EDIT: Curses! Beaten by my own verbosity!

Lo and behold everyone with an active account gets it for free a year after it launched.
I think his problem has more to do with the revamped Galaxy City tutorial where you will be able to start as any of the 10 main ATs starting from level 1 on either side, which would seem to make the side-switching mechanic mostly useless (of course, you can still use it to switch back and forth, so it actually still has quite a bit of value), as well as starting in Praetoria as any AT (but again, Praetoria will soon have up to 24 levels of new content, while the revamped GC will likely only last a few levels, of that).
  24. 1. Epic ATs are epic because of the story, not because they're uber-leet classes only meant for awesome players, etc. Also, with the Astral/Empyrean Vendors in Issue 20.5 your Incarnates can give early cape and aura unlocks to your lowbies.

    2. AE was a fiasco, but definitely not a deliberate attempt on the part of the devs to make the game easier (if anything, they've showed the opposite intent by cracking down on exploits). And seriously, farmers are new??? (Can't tell if you were being sarcastic there, disregard this if so.)

    3. If the only reason you bought Going Rogue was to be able to play a Brute on heroside, then yes, this would seem to be true. (Not sure how this makes the entire game easier as a result though...) Thankfully, GR was chock full of other features, so I don't really understand your complaint here.

4 & 5. PvP is dead. Deal with it.

Easy != QoL changes that make the game less of a boring slog to 50. Running across the whole of creation until you finally got a travel power at level 14 was not fun. Having to work out which tram to take in order to reach which zone was not fun. Traveling from one zone to the next is not "playing the game", so making that easier is not "making the game easy".

On the other hand, go try the new Keyes Trial, then come back and let us know what you found so easy about it.
