Forum Log-Out Problem Back

I would like to keep it to one thread so they are beat in the face with the idiocy of this happening, so often, for so long. It has been over a year since the issue re-arose (happened a lot when we switched over, something they did fixed it, then it broke again). Not a single red response in that thread, which has been around for TEN MONTHS.

Every once in a while I get a spark of hope (or exceptional irritation) and post in that thread when I get logged out. The rest of the time... it's like that car you have you can't afford to get fixed *just* yet, so you go through your little ritual to get it started, or make sure not to park on a hill or whatnot. You just sigh and do it because there's not a thing you can do about getting it resolved right now.
Yup. Sadly, it's never been fixed. I've gotten myself into the habit of reading the forums, and logging out when I'm done. That's about the best "fix" I've been able to come up with, other than praying to Inglip that I don't randomly find myself logged out upon loading a page.

Biggest Troll on the forums? I'll give you a hint:
It seems to happen to me most often when I open a bunch of posts at once in separate tabs (i.e. going down a list, middle clicking them to open in the background). So part of me wants to say it's some overzealous session verification losing a race condition.
Then again, rarely I'll have it happen just opening a single page, like User CP, so who knows...
Four times today so far for me. I've already canceled my sub again for a variety of reasons but somewhere on that list is my annoyance at the flakiness of these forums and the way that they're being moderated these days.

Knock on wood, it hasn't happen in the last week for me but I've noticed that when it does happen, it happens right after my connection drops out for a few seconds. Of course I'm on dial-up going through a web accelerator proxy and I tend to open multiple posts right after each other so there's a slew of slow, overlapping requests to the forum software so it may just be that way for me.

I will echo that it has not been fixed.
I have just stopped posting the in the logout thread because of the low roi for the time spent. But I enjoyed posting this. : )

Then people couldn't post at all.
