It seems the /buycoh command has been disabled entirely, as the game no longer recognizes it as a valid command.
For those who don't know, this command would open up a dialog box asking the player if they want to buy the game. Clicking yes would open the NCSoft store in the player's web browser while simultaneously logging them out of the game instantly (no countdown). This used to be a quick trick for switching characters quickly.
I guess it makes sense that it would be removed now that the game is F2P, but it's still kind of disappointing that this trick no longer works. -
You know what they should do, they should make a new subforum just for suggestions. They could call it something like, "Things I Want To See In The Game". Or something else, I dunno, that seems kinda cumbersome.

Most of the "speech" in the game is gibberish that is structured to sound like it's actually saying something. Notable exceptions are Recluse's propaganda in Grandville, and of course the spoken directions in the new tutorial.

Quote:Rory isn't an Auton anymore.I think they are going to go with the running joke that the doctor is always late. I can see it now.. Amy and Rory go back home on a break while the doctor zips off for a moment.
He returns 60 or so years later. Amy has died of old age, Rory is ever young waiting each day for the doctor to return to tell him that Amy had a good life and to not go mucking it up. Then Rory plays a video of Amy that she records each year on the day that they last said good bye to each other, at first it would be very angry that he's late again, then she tells him about her life of the previous year, then finally as an old women asking when the funny man in the blue box is going to come visiting her again. When its all over Rory tells the doctor that his final duty is over and to depower him so he can join his wife. -
Quote:I disagree, signature NPCs should be unique, otherwise they're just boring.Standard rant:
Every signature NPC that uses non-player-available powers or costume parts is a failure of those parts. If the devs can't design heroes and villains to their own satisfaction with the tools available to players, then we need better tools. (I'm not mad or anything, I just think that should be something to aim towards.. So give us a Martial secondary on blasters already) -
Quote:I asked him if he could tell me what it was or if not at least his reaction. In the context Baller means VERY stylish.

Quote:There's a pretty huge difference between waiting to get through a server queue in order to even play and waiting some amount of time for new content to be released but still being able to play. There's also a pretty huge difference between 3 months between issues and 6 months between issues. And this is why I unsubbed. 3-6 months per issue. Reminds me of the old aion catch phrase when you would spend hours on end sitting in server queues....
'akakakakak, nyerk, you paid to wait!'
I'm not saying that your decision to unsub was stupid and ill-informed, but I don't really understand it. -
My only theory at this point is that the mods enjoy this thread too much to lock it.
-
Welp, I guess next patch they'll be made resistant to Repel. Can't have the players using creative tactics after all.
-
Whatever happens in Chapter 7, there better be a brand new map that we've never seen before.

I have a feeling this thread is going to deliver in a big way.
It sounds like every time you got reported you absolutely deserved it, regardless of the language you used. -
Wow, that looks even worse than the first movie. Also, did that scene of him spitting the bullets back out at the thug appear in the previous teaser trailer, or did they reuse the gag from the first movie? I could swear I've seen that before.

Possible solution: Have temps go to the league leader (or team leader) who may then distribute them accordingly.

Personally I miss Doctor Creed, he was way more interesting than Doctor Dwight K. Schrute.

Quote:So it has nothing to do with politics, but it does have to do with game politics?Yes Dark..revert to sarcasm instead of just saying..I don't agree. Good job.
Just because the OP is using the terms elected, board, etc, does not mean it has ANYTHING to do with politics. At the very best, it would come down to in game and forum politics. And you know what? We already have them. Look at how many of the big posters act, like their own opinions can never be wrong. Also get in game channel and sg leaders trying to get more control.
So yeah..we already have game politics. How is having a group of players as a go between to the devs a bad idea? (Neglecting the fact that actually electing them fairly would be very hard)
Yes, we already have politics. So why make it worse by elevating those big posters above the rest of the game population in a way that is more meaningful than a huge post count?
I also don't think that representative democracy would work here at all, as we have an extremely diverse playerbase and what affects the players most likely to be voted in may not actually affect the majority of the population in the same way. (There's a point to be made here but that is for another thread on another forum at another time.)
P.S. I don't know if it's loading properly for anyone else (imgur was being weird for me) but there's supposed to be a gif in my last post which non-sarcastically indicates my true feelings (a picure is worth a thousand words, so just imagine how many words a gif is worth!). -

Wait until Part 5 goes live next month, then wait for someone to post spoilers. You know as much as we do at this point.
-
Well, that's one good way to get me to stop playing and focus on my homework.
I'll probably watch TV instead. -
Yeah, let's bring politics into the game.
[there was supposed to be a gif here of Jim from The Office looking at the camera and shaking his head but at least on my computer it's not loading properly, but rest assured it's pretty darned hilarious and effectively makes my point]

Calling it now:
Issue 25: Statesman Returns
And he'll have all of his costume slots unlocked. -
The above post is the stupidest thing ever written by anybody anywhere ever.

Quote:"Ghost" is technically non-Caucasian, so maybe Numina counts? Here's why not:
1. Back Alley Brawler is the only non-Caucasian member of the Phalanx (or the surviving eight.) Without him the Phalanx is a box of wafers for cheese.
Horror movies always kill off the "ethnic" guy, but this is comics - where tokenism still reigns.
