So i have some major issues with losing something and while I admit I pay absolutely no attention to lore, id like to at least know how he died and any other info. Not really up to playing an arc that will just annoy me.

He was killed by Professor Plum, in the conservatory, with the rope.

Wait until Part 5 goes live next month, then wait for someone to post spoilers. You know as much as we do at this point.

We will honor the past, and fight to the last, it will be a good way to die...

...who what now?

If you are referring to that other thread, then no, that is NOT canon and we have no idea at the moment. Stop believing BS, it's bad for you.

Are you referring to this thread, where Zwillinger informs us that Statesman is going to die in SSA part 5?

Yes, that really was posted by a redname.

I really don't think that information posted on the main website counts as spoilers.

One of the game official personnel posted on a public forum that Statesman is going to die and *I'M* the one who needs to use spoiler tags???

Did you also miss the 'Salute to Statesman' bit posted WEEKS AGO?

1. I don't care about this revelation in the least, as I play villain-side. The most I see him is in LRSF, so 'killing' him isn't new (or that big a deal). His absence won't be felt much in the Rogue Isles (except by Stefan, who will wear his most formal spider arms to the funeral).
2. A certain ex-senior dev must be looking at this and wondering 'They took THIS long to kill my character?' (I realise it's not 'his' character, but it may as well have been with his sense of ownership while involved in the MMO)

I also wonder if i25 will be 'Return of Statesman!' drawing inspiration from a similar signature character of a certain comic book company?

I made this exact prediction in the official announcement thread. It's either that or he's rezzed at the end of arc #7.

It wouldn't be in 5 issues... More like 12 issues (remember the 5th column), so Issue 35, with flashbacks/hints of return in Issues 33 & 34.

If the thread had the victim's name in it you'd have a point but it was just "A Death Revealed". No clicky, no spoiler.

My original post was an official spoiler alert.

In which case, they'll introduce four wannabe Statesmen around issue 23.

34 heroes,
20 villains, Victory, Justice, Infinity, Virtue, Triumph, Exalted -- some more active than others
