TL;DR, but I agree with you on Star Trek '09 (even the title was generic and boring).
However, I can't agree with what you've said about Red Skull, Hugo Weaving was frickin' awesome. He's really a villain that doesn't require a lot of depth to be good (and in fact, probably suffers from having it). -
Market subforum would probably be a good place to ask, these sorts of transactions happen all the time over there.

This was really not a "newb" moment so much as it was a "high on cough medicine and not really paying attention to what the hell I was doing and thus made a huge mistake" kind of moment.
Last night I did my first successful TPN. When I was done, I was sitting with 27 Astrals, 7 Empyreans, and 88 Threads (along with some other specific components I don't recall, besides the VR Forbidden Technique). I had one T3 Degenerative Interface, and a T1. With all of this salvage I decided, to hell with it, I'll just buy the rest of what I need with Threads in order to get my T4 Interface. So I did.
As soon as I finished crafting I realized what I had done. Although I had the Forbidden Technique needed to craft a Degenerative Core Flawless (75% -Max HP, 25% Toxic DoT), I had actually wanted to craft a Degenerative Radial Flawless (25% -Max HP, 75% Toxic DoT), which meant I needed to sidegrade my VR first.
So now I need to work my way up the tree all over again.

Not my experience on Pinnacle, TPN and Keyes are in regular rotation with BAF and Lambda these days (and MoM to an extent; not UG though).

Probably the latter, as the Vanguard costume pieces work the same way (still earnable in game on a character basis but also purchaseable globally).

You seem to be confused. I wasn't joking. It won't be added in as an auto-unlock if you have the Visionary badge already, it'll be part of a weapons pack. That's how things work now.

Gong of Doom sounds fun except for two problems.
1. It's gonna have to bypass the aggro cap. Which is fine, standard code rant aside, but that's a hurdle.
2. The devs have gone to great lengths to make ambush farms worthless in AE, I can't imagine them selling a power on the Market that would allow you to turn any x8 mission into an ambush farm. Yeah, with the right toon you can already farm Freakshow on an outdoor map or whatever, but being able to bring them all to you would make it much quicker.
