/unsigned on comic book pages unless they can actually manage to get decent art, which they completely failed to do for the tutorial.

According to ViDoc #3 it's already in-game as Void Judgement.

Quote:Letting players purchase an "I Win" button would also get them more money from us, but that doesn't mean they're going to do it. And again, the discouragement of people creating alts (and maybe it wouldn't be the case for you, but it would be for some people) is just one factor, the main issue is with people suddenly having characters they don't know how to play. You know how after every major XP exploit (Winter Lords, Mito farms, etc.) the game gets flooded with people who don't know how to play their level 50s because they didn't actually start playing them until level 50? Yeah, it'll be like that.I don't understand - people will still have plenty of alts. The whole purpose is to allow someone who picked powersets they don't like and choose new ones for money. These ideas are to help NC Soft get me to part with my money since the Rename, Respec, and Transfer I haven't done. And I won't purchase at their current prices.
Frankly, I have a hard time seeing how or why anyone could be so far into a character that they don't want to lose all their badges, yet they're only just now realizing that they don't like the sets. I made a Dark/Psy Defender back when GR went live, a Praetorian analogue to the Dark Ring Mistress, and I recently returned to her now that I have actual Carnie costume pieces to use. And my god, she is still pretty unpleasant to level. Fortunately, she's only level 19, so at this point I may just let her sit until Issue 22 and reroll her as a Dark/Psi Dominator. My point is that it shouldn't take you that long to realize you don't like a set, and because of that fact, it's not really that big a deal to just reroll.
I do like what you said on point 3 though, being able to choose from a rename or a transfer token through your monthly VIP reward. -
Either Play City of Heroes 2 (come on, you know it's coming) or finally go outside. Your pick. I know which one I'd choose (SPOILER ALERT! it's not the one that involves trees).

There's already a Murder of Crows CCE, but it's only available during the Halloween Event.

Quote:Neither of these things will ever happen. The devs have specifically stated that they don't want players doing this and they're quite right to do so. A Mind/Psi Dominator plays nothing like a Plant/Thorns Dominator, but if you're suddenly switching your powersets at level 35 you're could be in a situation where you don't know how any of your powers work (yes, this is less of an issue for veteran players, but this is a general case). Switching archetypes is even worse, a Defender and a Stalker are nothing alike. Both of these also discourage creating alts. Here are some ideas I have for the Paragon Market. There are some things that I don't like.
5 How about a Super Respec? This Respec would allow you to keep your character's current level and change his/her Primary and/or Secondary. I think this would be worth 400 Points. NOTE: A character might need to use two of these if he/she has 2 specs (like one for PVP and one for PVE).
6) How about an Extream Respec? This Respec would allow you to change your Class (something like Stalker to Defender). This would include the Super Respec since the Primary/Secondary choices probably won't line up. I think this might be worth the 800 points. The NOTE: in #5 would also apply to this Respec. -
Beast Mastery leaked into Beta for I22, so yes it's real, but it's very unfinished. The non-pet powers currently use a Dark Blast animation as a placeholder, and I believe one of the pet summons is currently untextured. Probably no customization though. Also, no bears, which is good, because they are Godless Killing Machines.

Poorly written garbage whose conclusion was in fact completely ruined by the pre-revelation (no, let's not mince words, spoiler) a few weeks back. Paragon, fire your entire marketing team, they are sinking your ship one hole at a time.
And this is coming from someone who doesn't really care about the story that much. -
Rule of thumb: if you have to ask, you probably shouldn't do it.

I don't see where you explained the "Tag" mechanic.

Works fine for me. I have to say, though, that error message doesn't exactly sound positive. (Is an error message ever positive?)

Quote:It completely cheapens the achievement. I like looking at my experience bar and seeing it completed. What if the progress bar for the post 50 'xp' was in another area? If the issue is just seeing your xp bar full all the time, that seems a bit silly to me.
Honestly do we really need more rewards for 50s? We have Incarnate stuff (Shards, Threads, Astrals, Empyreans), Reward Merits, Alignment Merits, Tickets, and you're still getting influence, prestige, salvage and recipes (and only 50s can use the purples).
As for Incarnate somehow "not counting", if that doesn't count then what will? The devs probably won't give any kind of post-50 reward that is decent and available to free players, especially if it's even remotely farmable. -
Quote:Sure maybe but Hell No to the idea of a perpetually-unfilled experience bar.I came here to say the same thing, but tbh the 2 things are different. Endgame rewards that aren't necessarily incarnate related could be a good thing. Alot of people (not myself, but i notice it alot) complain how the only thing that matters now is incarnates and incarnate progression. This could be a great addition for people who aren't VIP and/or don't like incarnate content and it's not like the 2 couldn't co-exist either.

Did everybody in this thread forget that we have an endgame system now?
No. /unsigned. Pointless. -
Quote:It looks like that could be the case. Most NPCs (including pets) do not have any toggles, they only have "click" powers. Maybe the Polar Lights' version of Assault is a clickie that works for a couple of seconds and then has to be refreshed?

I don't care about any of the NPCs in the game. Fortunately, I also don't care about whether or not I care about them, so I remain free to enjoy the game regardless.

Quote:I could see if youI sent a tell saying I thought they were overly harsh but that I would comply. There was no response from them via teill or league chat. There were not overly communicative which I can understand since they were running the trial just thought a blunt use it and get kicked was rude. I can see the reasons you indicated but none of that seems like a kickable offense if someone where to use it on this trial at least.
A) Used it without asking, were told to stop, only to keep using it
or B) Asked if you could use it, were told not to, then did it again anyway
or C) Asked if you could use it, got no answer (as you did), used it, were told to stop, then did it again anyway
then yeah you'd deserve to be kicked. But threatening a kick for even asking is really pretty rude, especially when you're just trying to help. -
So I know Mission Architect access for non-VIPs can be gained through the Paragon Rewards Program with multiple purchases of 1200 Points, but according to this it sounds like it should also be purchasable with a license, but there doesn't seem to be one on the Market. Am I off my nut or what?
