  1. I actually saw another Tanker Tuesday post somewhere on the forum the other week and was thinking about asking if you're ever coming to Pinnacle, I'm glad to see you are. I'll make a point of remembering to show up.

    Hospital

I just wish some of the newer contacts would sell inspirations.
  3. EDIT: Beaten by someone with far superior knowledge.
  4. Pinnacle has seen a recent uptick in PvP activity lately so you probably want to stay away from there.
  5. Keep in mind that in many cases, it's cheaper to buy the recipe and salvage than it is to buy the enhancement crafted,
  6. You can craft them from your own recipe drops, of course, but (EDIT: D'oh! Forgot about the crafting tables). Also keep in mind that you can e-mail recipes and enhancements to your own global, effectively allowing you to trade between your own characters.
  7. I usually start getting IOs at level 25-30, then start working on sets sometime in the 30s.

You're misunderstanding the thing about levels. A Level 30 IO is better than a level 30 SO, for a character who is level 30. (It turns out that a level 30 SO slotted on a level 27 character is better than a level 30 IO, but it won't continue to be.) The added benefit of all IOs, of course, is that they don't diminish as you level, but this is a separate issue. Level 50 IOs are better than level 30 IOs always, just as level 30 IOs are better than level 25 IOs, etc.
  8. Pinnacle has booze. I don't partake myself, but most people don't turn down free booze.
  9. If you want a response from a GM, you should file a petition, but a bug report. Bug reports get added to a list of issues, petitions get sent to GMs. (I'm assuming you meant "bug report" when you said "bug report", I don't know if you really meant that or if you were just unclear about the difference. Apologies if it's the former.)
  10. I was hanging out in Steel the other day when I saw what must be a new NPC for this year's Winter Event. I don't see any other possible explanation!

So apparently Santa is a shapeshifter. Or he's had some recent elective surgery...

    Brutes aren't Tankers.
  12. I'd rather see them fix the in-game market UI that they broke first, before designing another one.
  13. The other day I saw someone use the phrase "I sold the recipe for millions" (as part of a joke) and my immediate thought was "they sold an IO recipe for millions of influence".
  14. oh. welp.

Although frankly I'm not sure I can believe you, given that your post count as I type this is 666. How do I know you're not the Great Beast?
  15. Not sure what base item this is (seems like some sort of reflecting pool) but it doesn't play especially well with Ultra Mode Water Effects, and it's completely broken with Water Effects + FSAA. Here's an example of the latter (Water Effects turned up to high):

Turning FSAA off removes the blockiness, but high Water Effects still aren't working quite right...

FSAA off + medium Water Effects:

Turning Water Effects to Low yields a new problem but it's closer to how it should be:

Turning Water Effects off yields the expected result (namely, nothing).
  16. I hate it. It would force me to reroll my Elec/Elec Blaster!

(Just kidding, it's actually a cool idea.)
  17. I totally forgot about this. Oops.

So...what was the event? The CoT are still in BT.
The event was "devs spawn a bunch of CoT, people fight them, yellow titles get handed out, devs forget to despawn level-capped CoT in lower-level zones".
  18. I notice a lot of people posting here never seem to specify which market their items are on.

    Redside:

    Recipes:
    Recipe - (29) Rope-a-dope: Endurance/Stun
    Recipe - (30) Celerity: Endurance

Why yes, I am doing whatever I can to get the selling badges.

I must be missing something, as I don't see any glowing pieces for Organic Armor or Bioluminescent. They look cool, but they definitely aren't glowing.
  20. Can't believe nobody has pointed out the obvious answer yet.
  21. Dark Ring Mistress for a Dark/Psy Defender I'm planning for GR. (Sadly, I don't have the Ring Mistress costume code to go with her. )

How could that be wrong? There's a signature character based on the exact same concept!

...Nothing? I don't get what you're implying here. So I'm wrong. Not the end of the world.

But I don't see how I can be wrong. MMOs have fluctuating populations during their lifetimes. At some point an MMO will reach its peak population. It may continue to fluctuate up and down beyond that, but by definition it will never return to its peak. That's why it's a peak. Because it's a peak.

Do I need to draw you a graph?
  25. Not yet. I wanted to try to do something like this but wasn't really sure how to go about it. I don't know how easy it is (or if it's possible at all) to directly access what a character has stored. My thinking is that the information you'd need to access would requiring violating the EULA.

I believe most or all of what HeroStats tracks is through chat messages (from the various channels for hit rolls, rewards, etc.). You could use this same method to track what a character has stored at the Auction House, but this would require the tracking software to be open while you're moving the item to/from the AH. This wouldn't necessarily work with recipe and salvage storage though, since there are numerous methods of obtaining those (picking up from AH, getting it as a drop, receiving it from another player in a trade, receiving it via email, removing it from base/Vault storage).
