IS there a Reason your avoiding Dark Armor? As it's Cloak of Fear seems to go well with what you want to do.
-
Sounds like a sitcom.
Hmmm...is there a Praetorian Television? -
The thing is for this situation we have 3 different parties involved.
The Tip itself(which can be a NPC, newspaper clipping, rumor etc.)
The Character currently being used
The Player
so because of this the first person largely can't be used. As it would be hard to distinguish which party is being referred to.
You want to avoid telling the Player how they should feel about something so we need a way to bring it down to the character directly.
Tabletop RPG's often use the second person when describing what a characters initial reaction is. This allows the Player to immerse themselves more into the game while maintaining a personal self separate from the game. -
Stalker damage cap is 500%.
Criticals do not count towards that cap.
So if you get to the cap, and crit your doubling the damage of your capped attack.
So say I have an attack that does 100 damage. At the damage cap this attack will do 500 damage and if that attack crits it's 1000 damage. -
The way I see it a Kheldian brings a player to the team and bonus xp/inf from the special mobs that spawn in addition to the regular spawn.
-
Grats
I doubt it could be done with the minimum people for Baf though.
*Waits patiently to be proven wrong.* -
Guess I was wrong on Judgment Tiers increasing damage thanks for that info.
Although one path in Void has a chance to do more damage against certain enemy ranks. the very Rare is a chance to do more damage against all Targets.
Of course that depends on how often that chance occurs, so it may be more like the Inferno power. -
But take those 3 judgment characters and run through the ITF with them.
That's the Op's concern.
Also for the 9CU's I believe the higher judgment tiers do significantly more damage than the earlier tiers.
So while Tier 1 won't dent the 9CU's Tier 3 wipes em out completely. -

Quote:Have any stalkers gone solo box hunting in Lambda? Has it worked out well? Has anyone seen if the boxes are equally resistant to all types of damage?
Didn't really manage Solo box hunting with my Stalker too well during Lambda.
I'm a NB/SR, however I suspect the Very Rare Alpha Musculature, and the level shifts from Lore and Destiny will make it a cake walk.
Taking out the boxes isn't very hard, it's getting them down before getting killed by the mob surrounding them. -
Having thought about this a bit the artillery is actually necessary should all 10 portals be closed off.
Look at this way, how big of a threat would Marauder be without the massive reinforcements?
EDIT: Maybe the artillery could be linked to the portals. After each portal goes down an artillery cannon powers up. Afterall it doesn't make much sense to launch artillery into a courtyard that's filled with your own men right? I mean they avoid aiming for Marauder but why are they firing on to the rank and file? -
So last night after repeatedly running BAF and getting to 80% of Judgment I decide frak it and convert Shards to threads to use for XP and accidentally use 3 of em on XP for the Physical slot.
Hooray for multiple types of rewards. -
Quote:Sorry for the brief sidetrack but LRSF does not belong on this list as when it first came out not even the devs who designed it could successfully beat it. LRSF is unique in that it actually had an official stance of too hard to beat when it first came out.Wow, it's been live for one day and people are already declaring it to be too hard and an example of bad design.
Reminds me very much of:
ITF
STF
LRSF
Kahn
Barracuda
Hamidon
Ship Raids
Apex
Tin Mage
Did I miss any?
Back to the topic at hand. While i haven't run Lambda yet I have run BAF several times. BAF can quickly become overwhelming because of the constant Boss reinforcements, and I really see no point in having the towers there. -
So the next question is was the team preformed or was it done through turnstile? or was it a mix some preformed the rest from a turnstile?
-
Waterspout can also take the Achilles Heel -res proc.
Personally I think that Proc should be added to everything that can take it.
EDIT: Now that I think about it, I never actually see Waterspout unless it's the one I used. I wonder why that might be. -
The only Ultimate Showdown I can really think off for me happened way back in Issue 1
My level 19 DM/SR Scrapper vs Dr Vahzilok (When the glowies were in the same mission as Vahz, but Vahz himself wasn't required for mission complete.)
Having grabbed said glowies I decided why not have a go at him?
The fight was fairly epic as i kept pounding him, and he would keep missing me, we'd go back and forth I spent a good 5 -10 mins on that fight got him down to about 1/4 or so but then I started running out of steam and he started getting his health back before I could bring it down. Ultimately I pulled out but felt awesome. -
Does this mean Zwil supports the Sharks with Laser beams movement?

Why should Longbow be attacking the Prison staff?
If those are the people set up to take on metas, why is longbow there? Why isn't Longbow letting them do their job?
Same thing with the RWZ. Longbow has no reason to be there when Vanguard are the ones specifically equipped to deal with Rikti. -
Rifles can use different types of ammo. Also generally a rifle wound is easier to recover from than the burn you would get from a flamethrower. Granted the City of Health Care is the greatest there is and can help recover from either readily enough.
Now with Longbow and this specifically from the perspective of the isles, they are doing more harm than good. Why is my Villain going to Agincourt and the surrounding areas of Nerva? To attack Longbow. If Longbow weren't there my villains would be limiting themselves to the Crey Buildings in the area. Away from where Civilians are likely to be. But since Longbow are in a place they have no business being, that place becomes a target for my Villains. -
Quote:While it's true the metas they attack can usually shrug of the fire, the same can't be said of any civilians that happen to be there. Plus I have an intense dislike of Longbow. And yet, somehow all the enemies they use those flamethrowers on, tend to take quite a bit of burning to go down, if not laugh them off entirely.
You're putting real world laws, into a world with super meta types. Even the natural supers are taking the hits and keep on going.
Also seeing as how the metas do shrug of the flamethrowers why are they still using them?
Longbow is completely irresponsible, but I suppose they get that from Ms. Liberty, afterall she never bothered to clean up that oil spill she caused in Port Oakes, so why should her troops do anything responsible?
*This post was made with a complete Bias against Longbow -
Waterspout
This power has done so much for my Stalker it's absurd.
Oh I'm at the agro cap and starting to get overwhelmed? Waterspout
EB's are swarming all over the place? Waterspout
Cimerorans piled around beyond the agro cap? Waterspout.
Army of infinite Rikti/5th Column? Waterspout's got me covered.
Also Singularity.
When I was playing a grav Dom Singy always had my back.
and for massive lols place Singy at the doorway of a bank map during a mayhem and watch as the citizens try to flee only to be flung around. -
I have very few complaints about the first Silent Hill.
The main one is certain parts of the movie are too much from the game (Specifically where she finds the knife to cut through something and then immediately drops it) and the sequel could do without moments like that.
Definitely looking forward to this as Silent hill was the first time a horror movie actually made me cringe in years
