As the others have said this game doesn't account for facing.
Now for your experience,
During the gathering phase of Lambda, each object triggers an ambush.
Since Lambda is uses a mix of IDF and Warworks "Victoria" Mark IVs can spawn.
Vicky's(as they're commonly called) have a stealth power that enables them to get a critical hit similar to Stalkers.
Due to the layout of the area an ambush can come at you from behind. If said ambush includes a Vicky it's most likely stealthed. Since your backing away you become the closest target for an ambush. Vicky gets the crit on you, causing what appears to be an enhanced hit from behind.
And Yes Vicky's use placate too. -
Well the better Stalker Secondaries are Ninjitsu,Willpower and Super Reflexes.
I'm strongly going to recommend Ninjitsu, as it's the only secondary designed specifically for Stalkers.
Although I'm sure someone else can explain specific set synergies if there are any. -

Quote:Longbow gets a "Cataphract" at 'Boss' rank, much like how Warworks used to get "Warwalker" . Chances are this will be changed when 20.5 goes live, because of the size issue.
Which is kind of messed up seeing how Arachnos get a Toxic Tarantula instead of the RV heavy the way Longbow is. -
Yes.
So you hit a mob with an attack, reactive triggers, you placate, the mob takes reactive damage, you are now a valid target for them, however if you attack before taking any damage you'll still crit. -

I don't really have any intentions of seeing this. In fact the sooner Fox looses the Xmen license the better as far as I'm concerned.
Comic continuity errors aside cause I know there is massive failure there, my problem stems from the continuity not even being consistent within the Xmen movies themselves. At least from what I've seen in commercials. -
Couple of points....
Wicked Wendy:
That's just going by the Kheldian power my personal opinion
Tank-Brute
Scrapper-Stalker
Defender- Corruptor
Controller -Mastermind
Blaster- Dominator
I compare Blasters to Dominators (especially after the Dom buffs) because looking at Blasters you have lots of ranged damage, melee damage, some self buffs, some controls. Dominators have some melee damage, some ranged damage, some self buffs and lots of controls.
Controller-Mastermind makes sense to me because of the similarities, limited self damage, buff/debuff, and plenty of ways to disrupt what enemy mobs do.
As for Heroic Necromancy, there are some criminals that are serving multiple life sentences. If they die, that would only be one of the life sentences. Well now they're serving the next and so on. Just another example and there are plenty of others people can come up with.
Not against a new Pet based AT for Heroes, but how about a Buff/Debuff primary for Villains?
I would love to see a Buff.Debuff/Assault AT for redside. -
Remember the Goatee guy isn't always the evil one.
in Futurama there was an episode featuring Bender's Goatee Twin.
As Bender is pretty evil already, the Goatee one was the good version. -
Quote:Tank (Hero) .. Brute (Villian)
Scrapper (Hero) ... Stalker (Villian) *okay its a stretch but they are both melee*
Controller(Hero) .. Dominator (Villain)
Defender(Hero) .. Corruptor (Villian)
Blaster(Hero) ... ???
??? ... MasterMind(Villain)
Well judging by the Kheldian Inherant
Tank - Mastermind
Scrapper - Brute
Controller - Dominator
Defender - Corruptor
Blaster - Stalker
Now I'm not against it, but if you're going to add an AT to one side you have to do the same for the other. -
Looks pretty good to me, and it's better damage than we get now.
-
Well why are you tanking the both of them at once?
BAF requires a minimum of 16 people, of the other 15 that are there your telling me not a single one of them is a Brute or a Tanker?
Letting a secondary tank grab the agro of the other AV will easily solve your problem.
Also saying Held after you do get sequestered will let the rest of the League know what happened so they can act accordingly. -
I definitely want to see more proliferations done.
As for tankers getting Energy Aura, yes they should get it. And obviously Conserve Power should be replaced with Repel from the Stalker version.. -
You know what's even worse.
Bane Spiders with Mace Mastery have to redraw the mace when using the different attacks. -
Nope the Epic At's were always unlocked per account.
Also for a point of reference Khelds were released back in Issue 3 when getting to 50 actually was quite a time investment.
Debt started at level 5, no xp scaling,no patrol xp,no beginners luck,no AE, no SSK, no exemped XP.
So back then it made sense to have them unlock per account .
Also since then the Devs have always stated for the record that level 50 was a mistake.
And as always "EPIC" means story, not abilities. -
Quote:Now, I know for Scrappers and Brutes the highest damage DB attach chain doesn't use combos at all. Is that true for stalkers as well?
If I'm not mistaken that chain uses the Follow Up clone frequently, which interferes with the combo system.
However I think the best Stalker chain also forgoes combos. I know someone(think it was Siolfir) posted a DPS chain for it somewhere.
EDIT: found one from Brand x -

Quote:So, comment removed as, despite the nature of the conversation the forum still IS rated T for Teen and we want to try and stay off the deliberately gory descriptions, but to answer DMystic's question: it's a polypropylene bat. Going by the materials used in its construction alone, you can leave what it can do up to your imagination.
Whoops sorry about that.
So after reading up on Polypropylene, specifically the baseball bat I'm not sure it will be as effective as the crowbar when dealing with a Solanum zombie.
though it is definitely nice. and of course if you can't get the crowbar it appears to be a decent alternative. -
if the sleep deals damage than reactive will have a chance to trigger.
if reactive triggers the mob is wide awake. -
Oh also Stalker DB gets Attack Vitals fairly early, and with some recharge slotting/globals you can easily chain AV into itself.
-
Except for the fairly long recharge on it for those levels.
And a viable attack chain, with strong defensive powers behind it will go a lot farther than placate.
As for bosses generally I keep my difficulty lower until I feel comfortable with the characters capabilities and build. (My DB/Nin isn't even fully SO'd yet)
Also my experience so far has been with a /Nin, Caltrops has proven to be a greater asset to survivability and damage than Placate. Of course I do have placate available I think I took it at 20 though.
The idea is to get a decent set of attacks and defenses before worrying about specialized powers such as Placate. -
Well I have a DB/Nin that's level 28 and I haven't actually played him all that much.
Leveling a DB isn't much different from leveling any other character from what I've seen.
It isn't really dependent on the combos but having the Sweep combo at level 8 is pretty good.
I strongly suggest holding off on placate for a bit grabbing it later on in the build as taking it at 12 doesn't really help leveling.
The combos are only as important as you make em. Don't forget that DB's combos are it's secondary effect akin to the -def in Ninja blade or the -tohit in Dark. -
Not in my opinion.
Hides defense bonus is insignificant during combat.
Specifically
When hidden Hide provides 5% defense to Melee and Ranged attacks and 35% to AoE
While not Hidden it provides 2.5% defense to Melee and Range.
You're better off taking those slots and putting them in other powers.
Putting a LoTG 7.5 Global Recharge IO in there seems to be the best bet to me. -
Well the Invader Accolade is paired with Task Force Commander in regards to side switching.
So that should give an idea about accessibility.
